A friend of mine who worked as a barman in my local pub in Ireland had health problems and one morning he was found dead on the floor of the pub, in fact, he died from drinking too much water, so take heed of that people, that does happen. He drank so much water he literally washed all the salt out of his body and all his vital organs started to fail. His diagnosis came too late to save him. He was only on medication for about a week before he died. This all happened about 5 years ago. We are now convinced he's now haunting the establishment. I have never witnessed strange events in any other pub except this one. Bar staff have heard drinking glasses rattling in the lounge when there was nobody supposed to be in there, one day the manager was in the basement and he heard footsteps in the bar up above ( wooden floor ) and he ran upstairs and found nobody, and the reason for that was because he hadn't opened the pub yet for the public, the front door was closed and locked. He even searched the toilets and the smoking areas he was so convinced that someone was in the pub. I was sitting at the bar one day conversing with one of the bar staff, there was just the two of us in the bar. Suddenly a metal money box just fell off the shelf, barman hadn't touched it since the day before, so it was not hanging precariously off the shelf that would cause it to fall off. Another day I was at the bar and was conversing with the manager and we heard a crash coming from the lounge, there was just the two of us in the pub, he investigated and found that the mop and mop bucket had fallen over, now that could possibly happen anyway, but it was a jump scare moment. And just a couple of days ago the bar had about 13 customers, including me, sitting on stools at the bar, and suddenly three items ( A book, a small cardboard box and a A-4 sized board ) just flew off the upper shelf right in front of everyone. These are some of the things I personally witnessed, and the staff have experienced many strange things themselves on a regular basis.
