The 7.3 or the 5.0 would be a great option. But before you give up on the 2.3, Bama and Livernois have tunes for the mustang 2.3. Those give big power gains. It might make a good video, to let people know what power gains are and what breaks before you do an engine swap. Good video, thanks.
Went with the base model , you can stuff 35's under it with stock suspension and ccorrect wheel selection and removal of the crash bars as ford does on the the sasquatch equipped models.. My bet is the after market will provide the rest over time or you go to the junk yard and scavenge stuff off crashed broncos and built it into what you want. Best think about the broncos is they engineered them to be modified and trailed.. Bolt on rear quarter panels, who does that ?
Cool introduction and very thorough review of the base model's features (with a couple of options added). It will be interesting to see how you can shoehorn one of those power plants into the Bronco and retain the 4x4 components. Look forward to your build moving forward!
Manual transmissions have been around forever, are simple to build and much cheaper to make than the multi-speed automatics of today, so that's why they cost less than an optioned automatic....Plus few people want them.
Great intro bro, would love to see the 5.0 in that bronco. I think ford missed out on not including a v8. Looking forward to seeing the build! Oh and check your messages dude, you got like 30 texts sittin there 😂
Nobody wants? The base model is constantly sold out around here. It's the best bang for your buck, bar none. Base model 2 door manual. I see you got the auto though, so idk about that one.
I ordered a 2door Manual Base Hardtop with modular bumper in Silver...Built last Friday. Shipping soon maybe...anyone here want it? Go through me and there is no dealer markup!!
The auto play music is an android auto setting. Go on your phone and adjust the android auto settings. There are quite a bit of things you can customize for when you turn on your bronco.
7.3 is the only correct option. Torque is key for crawling. And as the old saying goes there’s no replacement for displacement. I want to get a 22 f350 with the 7.3 and slap twin turbos on it because why no
raptor is bad ass worth price if u r on a racing team or want to be once a month or u hit pick 5 exact i guess, so barring lotto u only need 4 mayb 5 trims not counting soft or hard or paint color tuff paint like a truck bed.
0:49, bruh on almost any other car a manual transmission is always cheaper because it’s simpler, it doesn’t have any electronics and sensors to tell it when to shift.
Hey man quick question I want to cam my truck but do I just buy the cam itself or rings and stuf (I have long tube headers 3400 stall converter 3.73 gears 2017 5.3) I would also appreciate a recommendation on Wht cam to get
I've driven a 21 explorer and a 20 mustang with this same 2.3 and 10 speed transmission... always searching for gears. its extremely annoying at best. like you said it seems like it's always looking for the right gear at the right time. but can never get it quite right 🤣. in my opinion this transmission is one of the worst on the market unfortunately. I wouldn't buy any vehicle with it after spending a few weeks with two of Ford's opposing offerings with this drivetrain.
"Were gonna do this on a budget", proceeds to show a coyote swap or a godzilla swap?? Sorry but getting either of those to fit in the bronco and the word budget don't go together😂
The frame of the Bronco will NOT hold up to the torque figures of the 7.3 Godzilla motor. The Coyote 5.0 perhaps....but the 7.3 in that Bronco will be a total waste of time.
It’s pretty sweet, only complaint is that the wind noise with the hardtop is still kinda annoying. The 2.3T is torquey, when we brake boost in 4WD and launch it’s pretty hilarious😂
Please make the 7.3L happen🙏
When you said “Maybe I’m just used to driving shitboxes all day” I felt that.
Finally Got A Build I’m interested In To Watch

Put the 2.3 in a foxbody or notchback🔥
I love how folks say cheap because it's base like cars don't cost an arm and leg these days
I went with the black diamond since I plan to add some mods slowly, and its ready to offroad from the dealership.
Looking forward to these videos!
excited to see how it turns out
you shoulda got the manual
Since no one wants it can i have it lol it would be a blessing for my family right now
I have the base model, added 32” tires and it looks and drives great!! No real need r anything more than that!
i ordered the base model and i think you can install the housing for signature lights
Just found your channel, and I'm already loving it., sincerely your new subscriber
Be sure to add at least a rear locker! Gonna be a cool build!
Great idea. 👍
Got this same Bronco but in manual ..with the Modular bumper...built last Friday. Anyone here want it...go through me and no dealer markup.
I want it

Base, 7MT here too
Agreed. “Nobody wants” seems a bit of a stretch. When order banks re-open I’m ordering almost exactly this.
same, base 2 door when we are allowed to order again, except im getting the 2.7...
Clean burn tech & a mini dump truck get 30-40mpg min if start stopping.
The base light package pays better homage to the original bronco imo.
The auto play music is an android auto setting. Go on your phone and adjust the android auto settings. There are quite a bit of things you can customize for when you turn on your bronco.
I have an outer Banks mainly because I wanted a V6. Now I wish I had the 4 cylinder
Awesome concept. I've been dragging around a '78 for a decade now and cant stand the base models. I hope you go with the Godzilla motor!
You said it.. if you can get it for msrp… here is my video suggestion.. do a video compiling a list of dealerships that sell the bronco for MSRP.
7.3 for an off-roader!
That's a good looking mr2 spyder in the background
7.3 is the only correct option. Torque is key for crawling. And as the old saying goes there’s no replacement for displacement. I want to get a 22 f350 with the 7.3 and slap twin turbos on it because why no
Looking forward to seeing what you are going to do.
If you were gonna swap the engine/trans why get the automatic?
A cheap build…..proceeds to do an engine swap lololololoo
raptor is bad ass worth price if u r on a racing team or want to be once a month or u hit pick 5 exact i guess, so barring lotto u only need 4 mayb 5 trims not counting soft or hard or paint color tuff paint like a truck bed.

Put in the 7.3
Next will be solid axle swaps and you basically have a jeep lol
Pretty neat.
Hey man quick question I want to cam my truck but do I just buy the cam itself or rings and stuf (I have long tube headers 3400 stall converter 3.73 gears 2017 5.3) I would also appreciate a recommendation on Wht cam to get

I want this pretty bad, I won't lie to you.
Does the base allow the top removal?
That's the bronco I ordered. 4cyl manual. I mean 👀
There's no way the msrp of this base Bronco was 30k! My base 2 door was 32k and I have the cheaper manual transmission
My 2022 2 door Base manual was $28,500 before the few little extras I got. Roof rails, modular front bumper, aux switches, and block heater.
7.3l seems like such overkill.
"Were gonna do this on a budget", proceeds to show a coyote swap or a godzilla swap??
Sorry but getting either of those to fit in the bronco and the word budget don't go together😂
Wanted to know if you do builds for customers?
Yep we do customer builds mainly, when we have open spots we build ours
Why would you buy an automatic?
I will buy some stock parts
Does the base offer co-pilot?
No co-pilot 360 but does have collision warning standard.
Subbed
Bad idea
Ford's are almost good at playing "car".
So cute. Give'm a participation trophy 🏆
Must be a huge budget if your gonna do engine swap. Lol
The frame of the Bronco will NOT hold up to the torque figures of the 7.3 Godzilla motor. The Coyote 5.0 perhaps....but the 7.3 in that Bronco will be a total waste of time.
Truth hurts me so bad
K swap it
Dope car. How are you liking it so far in comparison to other cars that you’ve owned?
It’s pretty sweet, only complaint is that the wind noise with the hardtop is still kinda annoying. The 2.3T is torquey, when we brake boost in 4WD and launch it’s pretty hilarious😂
Where is your shop, i want you to cam and tune my LS 6.0
Broussard Louisiana, Mad Hatter Garage
@@337speed thx. I will travel to you, how much time to do a cam and a tune so that i can plan my stay?
I can’t understand for the life of me why people are getting these with automatic transmissions!!!???
“Nobody wants”
No nobody wants. Lol
Everyone wants
The new Bronco looks like a cheap-ass Kia...
