Great vlog. One of the new things to do is replace the factory grease and rebalance the buffer by adjusting the weight the accusehole is at the top 12 O'clock potion 🎉🎉🎉

Greta Fireberg 😂 Do it for Dale🤘🏻 My first car was a ‘84 Bird, wish I still had it. And once again, I just got home from Harbor Freight and was checking this DA out since it’s n sale. Don’t really need it yet so didn’t pull the trigger, but definitely on my future wish list now. ThankZ for the good review!!!

I was praying you would also polish it, I want to buy one to also do a black car and wasn't sure if it would do the trick. Thank you thank you thank you. I'll buy one with confidence now...

I changed the grease in mine and it’s smooth. No reason to spend $200+

    “Speaking of real tool….”

Nice video, results, and car! 😎
Somewhat odd question ... do you still own this polisher?

      Kar Kraftsman, awesome! 😎
The reason I ask is I bought one, too, and it has the _same_ serial number as yours! *LOL*
It’s a terrific machine for the price (mine doesn’t have the handle torque separation, by the way). 👍🏼

I've been told this 5" backing pad works with the Bauer polisher:
    www.amazon.com/dp/B07343S3NV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_MS99C6K176FW94BVWBWE
I haven't used my polisher yet but I did replace the grease with Lucas White Lithium Grease. It comes in a tall, white, squeeze tube and is around $5 or so. Definitely take out the old grease with some Q-Tips! It's easy.

The Maxshine backing pad works for the Harbor Freight SHORT THROW Random Orbital Dual-Action Polisher, Model No. 1814E-B. The short throw backing pad attaches to the polisher with a 5/16'' - 24 UNF spindle.
The Harbor Freight Bauer Long Throw Random Orbital Dual-Action Polisher, 7.5A, 6-inch, 6 speed, Model No. 1918E-B is different. I own this polisher and replaced the original 6" backing plate with a RUPES 5" backing plate, Model No. 980-027N. The long throw backing plate attaches to the polisher with a M8-1.25x16mm bolt.
The two models are not compatible.
