It's good for the Dawgs. Did you see Kirby's interview after the game. He clearly pushes his locker room by positioning Georgia as underdogs no one believes in. Let the media continue to hate and give him fodder for his pre, halftime, post, and all week speeches.
Texas has not played anybody until today and they got their asses kicked even with the help of the referees. I'm not seeing what everyone else is in this Texas team.

They rated TCU over OSU in 2022 in an attempt to have us eliminated in the CFP finals only to position us to embarrass TCU in the Natty. Last year they gave Texas our spot in the CFP when all the Vegas oddsmakers said we’d win the Natty. Today was such a redemption. If Carson Beck had been on his game Texas would really be embarrassed this evening.

As a former official, that had to be the worst officiating performance I have ever seen in a college football game.

In case you don't know, Texas has their OWN refs on their payroll. They all live in the Austin - San Antonio corridor. Former Big-12 ref Mike Defee said as much after he went to the NFL.

The sec needs to look into this game and the refs to see what went wrong and not schedule them for a while for big games. Especially the SEC Championship. We need a legit Championship not a questionable game with easy to manipulate refs. They got strong armed by texas.
I think it’s more a product of poor officiating in general. As for the beer can play, changing the call was correct but they should have announced a review first.

Texas got lucky and beat Alabama last year and even though GA only had one loss by three points they passed over GA to put Texas in the playoff because they beat Bama. Texas lost by a bigger margin than three to Oklahoma. GA beating them in Austin proved the playoff committee made a lot of big mistakes.
