what are those blocks that are bolted on the X rail for?
Two independent motors. Makes it easy to square up the machine with a 12" aluminum square.
Check it every week or so. It usually holds position when you power down.

@@TylerHarney do you have a motor on each of your Y belts? I am currently building this same laser but the design has a single motor with a shaft that goes to each Y belt. so in theory my Y belts should stay in sync since they are mechanically linked.
