I walked the Camino from SJPP in 2007 and plan to repeat the experience this year pandemic permitting. I am having to satisfy myself with watching videos of the Way for the time being. It was whilst doing this that I came upon your videos which are the best. I hope that you manage to post your arrival in Santiago which will no doubt be a very emotional experience for you. That church looked so inviting and precious in that cold, rainy morning (0:47-2:16) That is one giant shell (3:12-3:16) It seems the roads are becoming more crowded with pilgrims the closer you get to Santiago. Nearly there! Great series of videos, thank you. My wife and I did the Camino Frances in 2018 and wanted to do the Portuguese Way in 2020, but that plan was scuppered by Covid ... so we are enjoying reliving the Camino via your camera. Keep 'em coming!

My father and I stopped in Melide back in 2015. Stayed in a place towards the end of town, and went down to the restaurant, thinking we were ordering a slice of tortilla each. They brought us the whole tortilla pie. It was still less than 15 euros with a beer each, and we had more than enough for lunch for the next day too.

Why didn’t you walk into the restaurant to have some Pulpo in Melide?
I had a fresh cerveza con lemon along with lunch there, it was so delicious.
