@@TomasJanicek This one was too big to keep, a good breeding fish is good for the Bass population, the bigger they are the more they reproduce so it made sense to let her go. 👍
Yes, St Catherines. We had to pull anchor shortly after that Bass, the current was ripping and we got to a point when we couldn't keep the bait on the bottom. 😥
Thank you, and you're welcome! We stayed for a little while but it was almost 4 knots of tide and becoming nearly impossible to hold bottom with the lead we had on board, also it was a 90 minute steam back home and were running out of daylight. 👍
@HallionBuoys I have considered fishing myself down that way but not knowing the waters I've been concerned about getting caught out. Think just need to explore it on neaps maybe
@@HallionBuoys if you fancy some company down that way give me a message, I'm often out with 2 or 3 other small boats and we're all looking at heading that way. Safety in numbers and all that
Great size bass :) thanks for letting it swim 😀

Lovely bass, thanks for the video! How come you didn't stay on those bass grounds just out of interest?

@@Fishingonthesolent Yeah, this was our first time there but we'll definitley go back, probably on a smaller tide next time, and with heavier lead! 🤣

@@Fishingonthesolent Absolutely! We'll give you a shout next time we're heading round that way.
