    Einfach toll.

    People have very strong reactions to Karl. He is onto something... the horse is gorgeous through his training. Looking UP and forward not at the ground like all FEI horses these days. Relaxed neck and poll. Not showy but fluid.

      I’d take fluid any day! Light and flowing over laboured flash.

    Amazing horseman and horse, in perfect unison. Their ability to perfectly transition back and forth between highly collected movements and jumping is truly amazing and impressive.

    Such a lucky horse to be with you, & showing so much joy in his work. Just beautiful to see. Thanks for sharing.

    Unvergleichlich! Philippe Karl lässt das Pferd Pferd sein und passt sich ihm in jeder Situation an und wird dadurch eins mit ihm!

    This is impressive! No nose and. No double bridle. Just a simple snaffle. A relaxed horse without all the tail swishing.

    Lovely to see high school work done in a snaffle bit.

      and a jumping saddle without massive kneepads 😁

    • @pamelahay6242
      @pamelahay6242 Рік тому

      I think the massive knee pads that have evolved over the past 20 years are designed to compensate and give security in the saddle to amateur riders ( the bulk of dressage riders numerically & mostly female) who take up riding latter in life or who have never developed a secure seat for a variety of teasons, That and the fact that many riders are overhorsed physically and the focus on Big Movement in Warmbloods “ favoured” by dressage riders which makes it hard for non professionals to stay in position & balance….. so the saddle “ does the job” for them… allegedly.
      Dressage saddles now are deeper and more padded and shaped than stock or western saddles.

    Bei 2:59 >>>>>In meinen 55 Jahren Pferdehaltung ist es das allererste Mal, dass ich einen Reiter sehe, der sein Pferd r i c h t i g s t r e i c h e l t. Das gefällt mir sehr. ---
    Eine Trense ohne Nasenriemen: Das sollte sich mal derjenige Reiter zu Gemüte führen, über den es in einer sehr alten Ausgabe des "St. Georg" am Ende eines entsprechenden Artikels hieß: "Der Nasenriemen wurde mithilfe einer Kneifzange festgezurrt. " ---
    Dass Philippe Karl hier vorwiegend leicht trabt - einfach toll!

    Riddled with uncertainty and fiddling. Best to compare training with the instructions in the original cavalry manuals. In this case one would use the Manual of the French Army which is a free link online and available to anyone serious enough to investigate it. Waltzes on the loudspeaker doesn't make the riding/training.

    • @JaneFrizzell
      @JaneFrizzell 4 роки тому +1

      @@lynchabbi I know exactly who this idol P. Karl is: he's a fraud and this horse isn't GOING. Read the French Army Manual for yourself and see if this theatrical talker's fulfilling its' instructions.

      Jane Frizzell sorry that is absolute rubbish you don’t know what you are talking about . Phillips Karl is a Master Horseman , the history behind High Noon is very sad , the horse was thrown away at 5 as useless and he also came to Phillip injured. To produce him to that standard is wonderful and I also look at how relaxed they are in the tail , I’ve only seen one other Reiner Klimke ride a horse as relaxed as that . Sorry you are being pedantic .

    • @JaneFrizzell
      @JaneFrizzell 3 роки тому +2

      @@livetwice7702 the riding pedantic! the horse doesn't go anywhere and misses the primary point of riding. (Klimke's horses did go.)

      Very artificial head carriage, stiff staccato movement particularly in the trot, lack of true forwardness, this is not high school dressage, uneven contact and hind end not pushing the horse, this was the way horses were trained long ago and is very military, sorry.
