Hello Loves! Glad to be back. It's so encouraging to receive all of your support and comments. UA-cam is not for the faint of heart and every single show of support is incredibly uplifting! Thank you. 🙏
Hi Bri, I'm so glad to see you back on the platform. Thank you for sharing! I'm so grateful to connect with you and always appreciate your encouragement! xoxo Maria
It feels so good to be back amongst friends! Thank you for welcoming me back, dear. I can’t wait to check out your Vlog channel and see a whole different world too excited for our upcoming group call!
I loved the elements of nature in this video. The birds, cute puppies, just what I like to watch on a Sunday afternoon. I look forward to seeing how you style some of your new pieces. We have a short getaway to NYC that I am looking forward to and I recently passed a certification exam for work on my first try!
Hello my dear! I’m so glad you like all the nature elements too. It’s so relaxing to be surrounded by it and it’s more representative of my day-to-day life is actually like. That’s so exciting about your exam and your trip to NYC! There’s gonna be some incredible shopping there. Wish I could join you. 🥰
That’s so sweet! I love the way you put that. I’m so excited to share more with you guys and, slowly as you say, evolve and unfold! Thanks for all of your support! 💕
Bri this was a fun vlog, it feels like we just had a nice hangout. I was so excited to see your video pop up! Breaks are a great thing, and even though you were on a break you definitely were working and hustling! As far as styling goes, I’ve been tempted to sign up with you and another stylist that I follow. I love style as a hobby and I think I’m pretty good at styling myself using what I’ve learned from watching videos and other online content. I love to shop too and I am fortunate that I have a pretty great wardrobe. So I’ve been thinking what would get me to sign up and spend money to work with a stylist. And what I’m imagining is a complete commitment NOT to shop, only using what I have and not getting tempted to add anything new. So basically coming up with all the outfits and working around the holes without creating them if that makes sense. I’m probably not the norm though, so idk if this would work as a program. I am also overwhelmed by the idea of setting everything up on a wardrobe app. I don’t have any ideas of how to work around that obstacle. Another thought I have is that my life is simple, and while I love to dress up and create occasions to do so, it’s not a necessity for me. So I wonder how can I justify the expense? So there are my thoughts, I hope it’s helpful for you, I can’t wait to hear about what you are planning. Thanks for this video, you are lovely and inspiring as always! -LeeAnn H
Wow! I absolutely love this feedback and it’s so great to hear your thoughts. Thank you so much for welcoming me back with such open arms and for being generous with your insights. Just as a sidenote, when I work with my styling clients, we sometimes don’t do any shopping or we do very minimal shopping. It really all depends on what you want out of the entire experience. But I can see where working in a four - six week program wouldn’t really support your needs. So I like the idea of doing something that would require less shopping and more styling. When I work with my clients virtually, we do a wardrobe styling set up in their bedroom near their closet on zoom. It sounds like it wouldn’t work, but it actually really does! About half of my clients are virtual every year! Are you on Instagram by any chance?
So great to see you and catch up on all that you’ve been up to. I’m happy that your styling business has been going well. It’s important to take breaks, though and reflect on the past and look forward to the future. I enjoy an occasional vlog along with the styling videos. I think an online service would be great and more accessible to more people. I hope you plan to continue with the Facebook group. I would love to see the live chat come back. I know that every week probably wouldn’t be doable but once or twice a month would be great. So excited to see more content from you and see where life takes you.
Hey love!! It's so good to "see" you too. Styling session is still on the table for you. I'm also thinking about starting a styling membership or group program which you'd have a seat in! And I love your idea about doing FB again and doing it once a month. I think that would be so fun. Maybe transfer it to a zoom group so we can all see each other.
Yay, Bri is back!! Burnout is real. I hope you can continue to rest, heal, and listen to the birds sing. Also, I love those ballet flats, and I think a secondhand styling service is needed. And thanks for your kind words-I really appreciate you, your friendship, your style, and your voice. I think you are utterly amazing, and I love to see you shine. ✨
Yay! glad to be back. You're such an inspiration to me. And you've always been so supportive over the years with burnout and creation. Aren't those ballet flats adorable?! I'm all about offering a secondhand shopping service. I can't wait to share more. Loved your voice note by the way. 💕
It’s great to be back and thanks for being so welcoming. I’m glad you like vlogs. I really enjoy watching them so it’s quite fun to make them as well. Thank you for being open to sharing and following along! 🙏
Aww! Miss you too. Glad to be back. So fun to binge old content. I just did that with one my favorite youtubers. Anything in particular you'd like to see more of on the channel?
Hi Bri. Thanks so much for sharing. I’ve felt burnout with my writing. I took all of 2023 off from it for the most part. sometimes we just need to step back. Glad you are back
Oh my goodness. I bet. Writing takes all of you. How refreshing you took the time to let your brain and heart rest. Love your books, so I'm really glad you're back to writing again!
Good to hear from u. Look forward to the Fabrique video. My suggestion is gain the assistance of a friend fashionista who would help u declutter ur closet. The stale energy of unworn clothes becomes toxic.
Thank you 🙏 glad to be back! I appreciate you. Since I'm a stylist and declutter closets for a living, I shall tackle it on my own. Great suggestion though! ❤️
It's great to have you back! I always enjoy your videos. This one really struck a chord with me, as I recently had to leave my job due to toxic environment and I'm taking time to heal from it now while looking to change directions for a healthier career. It's amazing what taking a step back to reasses can do...taking those walks, connecting with nature/neighbors/friends/yourself! Looking forward to more of your content! As to service suggestions, I think it would be great to be able to do a 1 on 1 video call to assess body type and what styles would be most flattering and then finding great second hand deals based on that and your brand knowledge. So maybe it would be a one or two time video so less time, and then you would find like 5 or so pieces for that person. Then it could continue from there depending on the person's needs/wants. Whatever you end up doing, best of luck!!
Hi, Elizabeth! I'm so sorry to hear about your previous job environment. That is so challenging. Very glad that you were able to make a break. You will never regret it. Your styling service suggestion is fantastic! I love it. Have you ever worked with a stylist before? Is this type of service something that would be a "yes!" for you?
@BriLamberson thank you so much! And yes, I'd love a service like this once I'm employed again:) I've never used a stylist before, but I find it challenging to pinpoint my body type and what styles are most flattering on me. I love supporting second hand and sustainable fashion, which is why I love your channel!
Hi, second hand shopping is great! There’s times I’ve had some so so purchases since I do so much online shopping but overall good experiences. Love your style aesthetic, thank you!
Hey there! I'd be more than happy to share my secondhand shopping tips and services. What would be your biggest need in your wardrobe or with your style right now? Thanks for your kind words. Glad you like my style!
@@BriLamberson Hi Bri, as far as some of my second hand blunders go, I think some of the items just didn’t look right on me when I received them. This wasn’t something I could tell of course when I initially saw them online. Over time I am becoming more simplified with my wardrobe and I pick mostly basics. I think the challenge with basics is making them somewhat edgy in order to look current and not stale. I like your approach to styling basics, example- tees and jeans and a third layer. Thank you for getting back, I appreciate your interest!
@@lyndanelson4303 Oh totally have had that happen to me. It's the most disappointing isn't it when it's on Poshmark, because you can't return it. I love that basics can be styled in so many different ways. Do you use Pinterest as a source of inspiration?
@@BriLamberson Hi - if you receive this reply twice I apologize in advance. I thought I had replied a moment ago but I don’t see it 🤫. Yes I use Pinterest, but mostly for hairstyle inspiration. I have some overall style pics saved but I should experiment more in this area. Interesting that you mentioned Poshmark because most of my mistakes took place on that website, and yes no returns are allowed other than damaged items. I have also had some purchase mistakes on threadup as well. Is there a better way to find the style you’re looking for on Pinterest? I typically would search like “basic edgy style “, something like that. Thank you Bri!

For Sézane I just go to Sézane site.. vintage furniture is what seems harder...I have some antiques and get disappointed when I go out furniture shopping...I love wood but the furniture out there isn't what it used to be...I like some things from Four Hands for new stuff
