  • We hope that you never have to test out any of these skills in real life. However, as martial artists, we all know that one of the scariest weapons we commonly encounter, especially in a robbery situation, is a gun. That is why Krav Maga practitioners like John Whitman of Krav Maga Alliance train in gun defense regularly. Here is a strategy and technique to use if someone has a gun to your back.

This technique 100% works. I’ve trained it a hundred times, as well as taught it. This is the best explanation video I’ve ever seen on it! Great job!!

training and real life happenings are two very different things - you think you're prepared but you're not until you experience it for real. Then other factors come at play.

@@outlawedTV88 lol I knew some jack arse would be a nay sayer hahaha. Training is better than no training. I assume you believe watching videos while eating a bag of chips prepares you. Good luck man

@@TigerShark316 so you're watching videos with a bag of chips and thinking that chips is gonna prep you no matter the training? Well all I can tell you you can train all you want and this is a good thing but when you face a real thing be careful not to piss in your panties Jack 😆

cpl years ago when I was sitting in a park at night chilling, dude sits beside me and asks to light him a cigarette, when he got up he points the gun in my head asking for my wallet and stuff - what he did not expect is that I will grab the gun and take it away from him at started hitting him in the head then realizing its a BS plastic gun replica that shattered in many pieces braking of his head, so I stopped and he run away. I took me half an hour to actually process in my head WTF actually happened. It was an instant defense reaction from my body and mind. Practicing martial arts in my youth gave me an edge - this time. But such situations demands clear mind and to know what you're doing.
These videos will not help you if you do not practice & repeat.

great video... just one thing though... if you are pointing the gun straight, after you take control of it... isn't there a risk of accidental firing and injuring someone standing right in front of you... if someone is taking hostage in this position... there is a 99% chance of a uniform guy standing right in front of him pointing his gun right at you, or else he wouldn't take you hostage from behind... if your fires, then it might hit the uniform person and if that uniform guy fires, it could hit you
