I remember being 18 and being so knowledgeable with so much to offer with lots of skills. Opportunity was not given to me because ‘I was just a kid’ or maybe there was ‘jealousy’ involved. I say carry on doing exactly everything you are doing and stay honest and stay humble. Be happy that because it is your own business you call the shots and you have unlimited opportunity and potential. Come up with the new name for your business as soon as possible. Keep advancing towards more advanced garden design etc YOU are doing well because of YOUR efforts. (Nice to see direct honest talking without the baloney )
When I was 14 and running 5 under me, the "tree" goal list has helped us hugely! Sometimes the crew sees goals, but those are end goals. Those are to the start of the tree. Have smaller goals in a bracket that contribute to end goals. It boosts morale. They love seeing the progress as you reward. You're doing well so far! Crush it
Hey the lawn care kid a nother great video on your channel i am 24 years old i also got my own lawn care business i am working on a nother truck u definitely my favorite UA-camr u probably need a shop soon
Before adding more guys to the crew get more accounts locked down first, you can help them out if needed on the mowing end. Unless you are that far scheduled ahead on landscaping/hardscaping. Definitely have backup mowers, truck etc to avoid any down time, a new piece of equipment can cut your time in half on all mowing jobs compared to paying out 20 to 30 k for one employee. Just make sure the crew is keeping up on quality of work for your customers. Great content young buck, smash them goals!
I’m gonna pay off my truck get a 12ft trailer, 2 zero turns, 2 plow trucks and a small skid steer for commercial with the stand on plowing machines. An end the year with 60-75 lawns is my goal I’ll be happy if I can get all of that check marked off the list that’s my goal!
Hope you crush your 2023 goals. Henrik allow me to share with you the stats from the mowing company which does my property. They mow 1,500 properties per week with ten crews. Albeit smaller properties on average than I have seen in your videos. With each crew, they run simple gas Chevy single cab trucks, single trailer with two mowers and all their other equipment. Each crew has three men. Yes they sit three across in the cab. When they were doing my parents 1/2 acre from start to finish, mowing, edging, blowing - 20 minutes. From what I have witnessed watching them over the past 25 years, keeping their capital equipment cost low is a significant driver of profitability. Be careful how much you raise your prices this year - inflation is not as high as it was last year. If you went up 10% last year, I doubt our clients would be expecting the same increase this year, unless you are already significantly under priced compared to the competition. My service has a "message center". Not a human answering the phone. They accept messages 24x7 and typically respond via email within 12-36 hours. God Bless.
I'm happy for your progress, and think goals are a major part of life. With that said, if you don't know why you bought a School Bus, sell it, and use the funds to help buy the equipment. I know I seem to harp on saving money, but dude, you need to slow down on buying those luxuries or toys for the time being. I realize you work hard, and you want to enjoy your successes, but you have your whole life to do that. Buy the truck that makes you happy, but anything else, it's just a waste of your business money. Put lots back just in case. We all need, just in case money.
For mowing trailers here in michigan I recommend integrity trailers out of nunica. They are built well and last a long time. Mines a 2011 that works just fine.
Hey Henrik, I am officially starting my LawnCare business this year and am trying to dial in a per acre price for mowing, trimming, edging, blowing off. May I ask what your charging this year 2023
My friend is a landscaper, he literally has the basics but he's good as hell, he's only himself, and he already has yearly clientele, he just doesn't know how to grow it, that and he don't know how to price a lot, for instant if he called a business up he wouldn't know how to quote it. You got an idea on how to quote a lot?
Please do more videos this year love the videos

The ladies like the bus!
@@thelawncarekid You mean you pick up the ladies at the High Rise and take them shopping. 😂😜. Good man.

You should invest into a small workshop. Maybe turn that shipping container into a shop.
Great channel! What do you do in the winter besides snow plow?
Nice video

I’m 14 and own a business and I’m trying to set some goals for my business and advertise more

What are your idea for a new name?
No clue
One suggestion is a 2023 GMC Sierra SLT 2500hd with the diesel engine
Denali? 🤷♂️
@@Jake-fp4xe na he doesn't want the 90k price tag I think it should stay in the 70-79k
Do you still have the 05 GMC? Keep up the hustle you will def achieve all your goals
Sold to my friend Tyler.
Yeah did you sell that
Hey man are you going to buy a new diesel fuel tank for your truck or your shop
For my truck, yes.
Could you do a video on what you have done in the past for marketing and what you are going to do in the future for marketing?
UA-cam is not as important as your landscape/mowing business. Focus on where the REAL money is.

Think about time and materials, then how much profit you want to make.
