It has a V 8 which is also used by Volvo for their SUV´s; *BUT* the engine was developed by Yamaha in Japan by the same engineering team, that developed the V10 for the Lexus LFA and has 2 huge twin- turbos by GarretAiResearch.FYI:this company makes turbochargers for racing cars and turboprop airplanes. Also, the version that Noble uses is not build by Volvo but is custombuild by Judd Power,a company that builds engines for racing cars, incl. Le Man and F1 cars and specially tuned by them for this car. In combination with the super light weight, this thing has an insane weight-to-power ratio and is a total beast. When the old Top Gear put it on their racetrack, the Stick beat the previous laptimes of a Pagani Zonda & Bugatti Veyron! When Jeremy Clarkson drove it,he went from 40-60 mph,in 1 sec in 2nd gear! When the US version of Top Gear tried to do a top speed test, they reached 215 mph on an old airfield, before running out of driveway. The testdriver estimated that it could have go even over 220mph but he slowed down, because he didnt want to risk a crash. However,it doesn't have any traction control or ABS or a modern flappy paddle gearbox or even an airbag, this thing is an oldschool, street legal, racing machine.
even though the 0-120 time may not sound impressive by today's standards when you consider its a manual box i like to disagree, modern Ferrari's and Lamborghini's etc all have modern flappy paddle/ auto boxes that are lightning quick which make up that extra bit of time, this is a true drivers supercar. thanks for the video guys
Lets be honest. If it was red with a F at the start of its name it would of sold/sell like hot cakes and be worth many times what it is. Thanks for the video guys.
Some element of truth there, Second Chance. The M600 featured here has just sold for £200k, but new ones nudge £300k. I think we have to be realistic though and say that is a lot of money for a Yamaha/Volvo engined handbuilt car. Even if it does look and go as well as it does. £100-150k and we’d be in.
Thanks. Agreed. It's an awesome beast, but you have be brave to own one They are super-rare, the black one in the video is properly mean and cool. You've got to be able to stomach a £200-300k price with no idea of a resale market. But if money's not an issue, it's a great great car
It’s taken me a year to get round to this video of one of my fave old school cars by my fave old school car reviewers!!! Always loving the new stuff but you should let more of us know of ya back catalogue guys, it’s like discovering The Floyd for the first time round at uni lol and then discovering their legacy!! Ace as ever!
TheCarGuys.TV new subscriber after I watched seen thru glass video with ur collection what a collection you have ,just one question did you buy the noble or was it just for the vlog??but WOW!!! What a car love it 👍👍👍
I'd really love to see some more American cars in Britain. These modernised muscle cars are truly something to behold if done right. Wish more enthusiasts took a chance on them today. I would.
Hello guys, I enjoy watching your videos. I'm wondering if you can tell me why I can't purchase a Noble M600 in the USA, is it a safty air bag thing or what. Every country has guffy laws, but a $300,000.00 car should not be held back. Thanks, Darryl
Doesn't meet the safety regulations in the US which are a lot more pedantic than the UK :P The Noble, just like the old TVRs (also banned in the US) are lethal. Loads of power, very light, no driver aids.
A VERY INTERESTING CAR NEVER CONSIDERED A NOBLE BEFORE KNOW, LIKE TO DRIVE ONE,I THINK WHAT YOU GUYS SAID ABOUT A SIQHENTIAL GEARBOX IS A GRAT IDEA,I THINK I LIKE MY AIR CONDITONNING AND COUPLE OF OTHER GOODIES WELL DONE GREAT PEICE
I can only imagine they never made a new one because they did not sell enough and they didnt sell enough because of the looks. People that spend that much on cars want them to be head turners. But if they want a drivers car then they will go for the Porsche gt3rs. What noble should of done is gone for some mad looks or something beautiful like Aston. It's just so understated. Personally I love it but I can see where it went wrong
I agree , not 2 bad a design 4 the Era ! But way 2 long in the rear end . The Engine is Gr8 . And the Carbon Fibre Workmanship is Outstanding. Especially the coloured versions. Exceptional. Don't mind the old style gear stick . Perhaps they should assist the other fabulous supercar manufacturer in the UK 🇬🇧 The Ultima Evolution would be Awesome with the coloured Carbon
Wow love this one. Today is my 61 st birthday , sat at breakfast of scrambled eggs and grilled streaky bacon plus coffee watching two youngsters enjoying one of the best cars I’ve ever seen ( and I’m a Porsche and Ferrari guy ) awesome. Did you treat yourselves
TheCarGuys.TV I’m just a poor council worker but had a lot of cars , evo 4 and celica GT4 , Subaru’s and MR2 s Now got a TT and a Boxster S Love your fantasy videos , and yes I watch til the end 🙏🙏🌈🏴
Watching this after the rant about Ferrari and all this stuff. Wondering if you would consider this beast as an alternative nowadays. You had an F40, loved it very much. This could be F40 Part 2: Die harder. And one thing is for sure: The building time will be faster and you will know when and why it is done. ^^
well, even the very same hamster that's crashes the rimac says so, and best of all, he even actually able to get a hold of it, which the orangutan apparently wasn't able to in his top gear review
They only make 10 or 15 every year,if I'm correct, all handbuild. Started production in 2010,so less then 100 of these are made. Fun Fact:this here beat a Bugatti Veyron and a Pagani Zonda, making a faster laptime at the old Top Gear track,in 2010!
The Noble F600 is a fantastic vehicle. But comparing it 2 a Ferrari F40 is ridiculous. The F40 looks like an all out race car . The Noble looks like its a trade off between a grand tourer / & supercar from a design aspect . Other than that it's a gr8 vehicle
Even though the F40 is worth more, and it is one of very few Ferrari's that I ever gave a dam about, I would rather have this Noble, hands down. You would be had pressed to find another V8 with a better exhaust note, tons of power and truly a drivers car.
I am obsessed with this car. It deserves way more recognition. I want one soooo badly
Agreed, id live in that beauty
Same boat. One day 100%
I’ve been looking at the thing for 3 days and I love it down to the last screw.
I've been on a back catalogue binge. There's more to life than just waiting for the next video.
That's so true, and we really appreciate it.

It's fantastic, always did like Nobles but this ones epic.
Reasons why I love this car!
It does have traction control, just no antilock brakes or stability control.

Sad that a supercar seems to get purchased with resale in mind as the main objective!
I found a used Noble for £150k
A car with an F at the start is pure garbage compared to this beast. This car any day, all day.
best supercar with Manual gearbox

Love this car I would have one if I won lotto for sure always loved it since it was on top gear with Hammond took it on road trip.👍👍👍🇬🇧
An underrated masterpiece. Be sure to visit Super Veloce and see them in person. Tell them we sent you

Awesome, I love this car, my Volvo S80 4.4l brought me here, now i just need the twin turbos ;)
Many cars to own in a lifetime this is the cherry that sits apon the cake for me.
Buy it!! Please it looks amazing in black!
Stunning in every way
Love the car..got a craving for a corned beef & HP sauce sandwich now tho😉
That car is amazing and looks phenomenal.
The rear half of that car is drop dead gorgeous. That carbon bodied car is the best spec I have seen by far.
Truly a NOBLE Supercar👌👌👌👌😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Wouldn’t it be great? Check out Bill Shepherd Mustang for some US delights
What an amazing car

US safety regulations are really shitty, and there’s way too many of them. Basically makes importing British cars impossible.
seeing somone driving this car(which might never happen where I live- a third world country) I will develop immediate and absolute resect!
GREAT and the SOUNDDDDDD
Oh yeah - it’s awesome

Great video.. please get one guys.
Mclaren f1 and f40 mixed together it's that awesome
How has this gem gone under my TCG's radar!!? For years I've been wondering when you'd review this! LOL!
We’ve got over 200 episodes now - lots of back catalogue
@@TheCarGuysTV I genuinely believed I'd seen them all. Same with Harris and Metcalfe 👍

If one were to be consider the purchase of either the McLaren 720S or the Noble M600 Carbonsport I wonder which The Car Guys would choose and why?
I’d take the Noble
@@TheCarGuysTV Thank you very much. Appreciated!

How much are these? There stunning, I like the pastel blue they did
A great car, Noble did some excellent engineering on this. I didnt know it was a Yamaha engine..I thought it was Volvo...
@@Jabber-ig3iw Thankyou, it sounds like a winning combination. I have great respect for Yamaha. Noble is very underrated.
i sensed an uptick in production value in this vid
Proper motor.
77 'yeah, yeahs' from passenger seat!
So what
These are catching my eye at the moment. Given your test drive guys, would you buy one pre owned ? This or a 675LT...hmmm?
675LT
just waiting for the 2nd hand values to drop under £30k.................
We wish there hardly on sale on the used market and if they are there more or less the same price as new. Will get one for sure sometime.

Steel chassis- less chatter/smoother ride, than alu or carbon? That's how it goes with bikes.
Nice video!
Thanks my friend

If I were you, I’d trust someone who has driven both
What a great car guys and a great british car at that, but the guy who was in charge of designing the steering wheel should be sacked - its horrible
Shame they didn't allow the two of you to just go out and drive together...
Volvo engine
