People , before appreciating the product , please check the price ! My father and I were so excited to Install this product immediately but after checking the price , we decided we'll just buy smart lights instead..and smart plugs for the ac..
For context , Hub/Gateway costs : 27,000 And one relay which controls 4 switches cost is : 9,000..
I'm not saying the product is overpriced (though it probably is) I just want to say in that price bracket I can simply install smart lights/fans and all I need to make my home a smart home 😀

Sounds and looks good but almost 9k for 1 module and 27k for Gateway also is pricey. It's reasonable for the level of innovation from Schneider but in the end, most people won't end up buying 'coz there are smart switchboards available at a cheaper price. It's tricky to whom the product is targeted.
Oakter has a cheaper alternative, but it doesn't support AC and light dimming, and fan speed

I can say tht the device is quite durable and can handle hard drops as you have shown in the video..
Its all well and good but guess what happens if this gets hacked. You are connecting your appliances over the internet.
Even if you don't have internet, it'll still work. You only need WiFi for this to work.
@@techwiser its a good news then if it just does everything on the edge. IMO privacy is a major concern with these IoT kind of devices as there has not been much standardization.

No, you don't have to keep the switch board on.

Imagine technologies on amazon have cheaper alternatives and works with tuya.
Or you can use the smart switches the ones that go inside the board just like this and don't need any hub like Finery, Tinxy, Homemate, sonoff.
P.S. - Just checked the price of these, and man I was blown by how expensive these Schneider ones are the ones I talked about a way cheaper as compared to these.

Ooohk so it is a set of retrofitting switches which are connected using z-wave technology, my simple question is some Alexa speakers (the big ones) have a z wave module in them right, if I have a such speaker can I skip the gateway and communicate to relays from the speaker itself

I guess this makes less sense for ACs and TVs. You get more done using a universal WiFi remote. The ones made by Oakter and homemate seem to have good positive reviews so maybe you could give those a shot.

I have some smart product + alexa. It works fine when there is internet working. But when the internet is down (it's rare but still a issue), it's a total mess.
Alexa can't trigger task without internet, Individual apps can work through wifi (without internet) but why would you keep connected your phone to a wifi if there is no internet.
Can we have RTT with Mrinal back? I bet there's a lot to see since last video

Thoughtfull design but I will wait for some cheaper value for money alternatives of this tech. Schneider is like Apple of Electric companies and takes a good premium for its brand value against the actual product value itself.
Tinxy products would be just as good at a much cheaper price. The only caveat would be that they work on wifi and no mesh networks as such.

Would be much cheaper if one buys the items on your own and then hire a electrician to wire up the switches and stuff. It's not that complicated. Any electrician will be able to wire it up.

You have advertised this like it can be installed by the average home owner and compared it to smart plugs that only require pluging in to install. The reality is this system should only be installed by a qualified electrician. Its requires reconfiguring the fixed electrical wiring of the house. And what domestic fridge pulls 18 amps? I'm from England so on 230v but even at 120v what fridge would pull that?! I feel like you haven't got a clue what you are talking about and I doubt very much that Schneider gave you this product to advertise or promote.

Bhai these relays are connected to network, and then pass on the current as + or - to switches, so instead of switch cutting of the power, relay acts in. Its "relay" it relays to pass on the current, no thanks for over simplifying it
It's a bad move by techwiser, The Schneider smart home video doesn't have any mention of sponsored content except in description below video and Pratik saying only 6A smart plugs are available in other brands is misleading information. Doing sponsored content is good but not this way. The video could have easily explained about z-wave technology and its reliability instead showing wiser products as better smart home solution without even considering the cost.
Do another video comparing other cheaper smart home solutions like tinxy and give subscribers a clear picture. only advantage of Schneider wiser is proprietary z-wave technology and onsite installation for which asking price cannot be justified for all.
He didn't recommend it, in the end he said u can explore it
