Hi Billie...Hope you don’t mind me asking but where do you buy the white square thingy’s that you crumb coat and decorate your cakes on? I use cake drums but they’re not washable and it’s a waste, also expensive!

Hi Claire!! Oh thank you so much!!! Biggest tip is to just keep making cakes!! Watch lots of videos, make lots of cakes, you will get better with every single one you make even though you may not see it right away. Persistence and practice and you will get there for sure xx

SweetieDarlingCakes My cake went well. The recipient absolutely loved it. My cake carving wasn’t the best so the shape was more like a round crock but the fondant technique looked great. I put buttercream piped mums on the top with piped leaves and some chocolate crumbs for soil. I will definitely use this technique again. Thanks again for the video. 🇨🇦

Thanks! I chose a simplified rose-style flower to go with this one because not everyone has time to go for the big complicated roses and they can also be a bit daunting for people starting out. You could add any flower you wanted if you’re amazing at flowers, or just add non-toxic fresh flowers ☺️ It’s super versatile 💕
