Well done Robyn! You are a true artist and I sooo want a piece of chocolate cake right now!
🥰 Thanks Wendy! This has actually been the only medium I have found that keeps my creativity peaked. I love to paint and I love to sculpt and carve things but I don't have much patience for it. This gives me a little bit of everything all of the time. I really enjoy it!
Great novelty cake, I usually bake my cakes in a terrocatta plant pot! 🌷🌹
Oh, that's so cool! I have never heard of that🤔
The Robyn's Nest If you take a look at my Instagram page, I think there is a photograph on there @mr_t_caykes 🤓🌷🌹
I love anything Spring related. Awesome cake❤
LOVE SPRING!!!!!!
Agreed!
Me too! I have another cute spring themed cake I made last year in my video library. You should check it out❤️
Adorable
Thank you so much🥰😍
I love your cakes!!!
Thank you so much! I have so much fun making them! So happy you like them! 🥰
Thank you so much, this is what I was looking for!))
Happy to help!🥰
Thanks for watching!!☺️
The icing is so flawless I thought it was fondant😍😍😍😍
Thank you! I tried real hard with this one! 🥰
Bellissima!!😊
Amazing!!. Like always 😍😍😍
Your so sweet! Thank you😊
So awesome and really creative. I would love another tutorial on Roses... And maybe a round present box cake ;-). Thank you again I really love your tutorials!
I will do my best to make that happen😊A present cake is a good idea, bows can be a little tricky to make.
Wow Amazing
Thank you.
Beautiful
Thank you so much 🥰
Great video, clear and to the point but my favourite thing of all is how you made the pot from buttercream rather than fondant (which I personally don't like the taste of but nearly all tutorials use to make the pot). Super impressive!
Thank you so much!! I’ve been working really hard to better my buttercream game! I’m so glad you like it and thank you for taking the time to tell me what you liked about the video, it’s always nice to hear what people think.🥰
Hi cake looks yummy
Thanks for watching ❤
Wow I think I can do it by myself for my daughter it's me hazel I want to make sure to copy this 😜😜😘😘😍😍💝💝🤩🤩❤️❤️❤️😋😋😋😋
So beautiful, thanks a lot ❤ can you please let me know is it possible to do this with six inch sponges
This was made with 6" sponges then carved to shape. 🥰
@@TheRobynsNest thanks a lot 😊
This is so amazing! How do you dry the brick fondant?
I put mine in a food dehydrator for about an hour. You can also use your oven. Just put it in there with only the light on, (do not turn the oven itself on!) The heat of the light will dry the fondant within a couple of hours
hi this is so nice 👌 can you share the recipe for this cake and buttercream recipe please 🙏
I believe for this one I had just used a basic chocolate fudge box cake mix, but I always make my own buttercream! Here’s the link to my easy buttercream recipe🥰
ua-cam.com/video/kA5crjQ_yI4/v-deo.html
(To make chocolate buttercream just add about 2 tbsp sifted cocoa to each batch you make,(I use Hershey’s) as well as an extra 1/2-1 tbsp of whatever liquid you will be using)
Good job
Thank you and thanks for watching! 🥰💕
You make it look so easy 😂
Thank you! I’ve had lot of practice!
what is the size of your cake and how to achieve the of your pot?
It’s three 6” cakes carved to get the shape then covered in buttercream and finished with crushed cookies for dirt.
Loved it!!?
Thanks 😊
Cook with Zam
What is your icing? Recipe please
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 Tbsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
4 cups of sifted powdered sugar
2-4 tbsp cool water
Cream butter salt and vanilla with paddle attachment of stand mixer till light and creamy
Add shortening and continue to mix until fully blended. Add 2 cups of powdered sugar and blend until smooth then add 1 Tbsp of water and blend again. Add final 2 cups of powdered sugar blended until smooth then gradually add remaining water until you reach the desired consistency.
Tip: I typically only need 2 - 2.5 tbsp of water in the summer but all 4 tbsp of water in the winter.
Happy Decorating 🥰
