How horrible!!! :( What a cruel, hopeless, terrible ending! The only good thing I can say is that Lauren Vialva is lovely and terrific. And the score was great. My problem is with the story--not the direction or performances, but the story itself and its conclusion. Left me with the same hollowed-out feeling I had after watching the screen adaptation of Stephen King's THE MIST. And may well have been the filmmakers' intention, which is even worse--in my own personal opinion. Girl babysitting a boy during a rash of child abductions/murders with boyfriend. The boyfriend reluctantly leaves. A girl is stabbed to death by child abductor/murderer, little boy is presumably taken and/or killed. Boyfriend rushes home to dead girlfriend...then end. WHAT??? Of all the endings you could have thought of, THAT was the one you chose? Kudos on making a film and making it well. But...dang.

Well it’s still a short film. It works as a proof of concept but that doesn’t mean that’s all it is. We just wanted to put something out there for Halloween because we like making movies 🤷♂️

Good film, but please keep your "trailers" or "proofs of concept" to yourselves, or at least label them as such.
