I followed you a couple years ago and Was losing weight but decided I could have a treat to reward myself once a week. Now I'm back at 400lbs and about to turn 62. I can barely walk anymore because arthritis and weight . My family are already looking at wheelchairs . I know I have one more fight left in me. So I'm back. On my 4th day of potatoes. Yesterday I ate four almonds and an apple. So let's call this day 1. Thanks for all you do I had a gastric sleeve years ago please tell people it won't work if they have good addictions..you will lose a lot but gain it back

I love these sorts of interviews. They remind me that not only do other people have these issues but they also overcome them. Keep up the good work Mark!
Thanks for posting Andrew. Very encouraging experience from Mark and best of luck for the year ahead. Really looking forward, also, to your interview with the Starch Solution king, Dr McDougall.
Mark looks healthy, his skin looks great! I find, eating clean, I have stopped enjoying sweets so much, but I crave salt like an addict! Wondering if that's typical?
Very inspiring Andrew thanks for sharing. Mark is an inspiration. 121kg down to 87kg! I gather he started Jan 2020 how is he going now? Did he do the 12 months and interested to know what weight he is now?
Great video Andrew and Mark - thank you. I have a question. A friend ate only spuds for a while and although she was very happy with what she was eating she got dreadfully constipated and almost considered giving up. Any suggestions?
Thanks for watching! Some people experience this because they are not used to the extra fibre. A good stepping stone to help with the adjustment is to make sure all spuds are peeled as that will reduce the fibre content, then as you get used to it you can gradually start eating more peels.
He eats with his family, cooks for them too. Avoiding temptation is not the answer, seeing it as an opportunity to practice is what will help in the long run
Andrew, quick question: when you did potatoes only, did you still use any condiments and salt for flavor? How about any dipping sauces with added fat, like tahini? Thank you, and loved the video!
From one food addict to another, thanks for posting. It really helps to get inspiration from someone who understands.
It would appear that the potato only diet leads to you looking like a potato haha only joking. Great vid as always mate
I wanna look like a spuddy!🤣💜

Great testimony! Thanks for sharing the excellent interview.
thanks!
I wonder if Mark sits down with his family for meals or if he stays away from the table so he isn’t tempted.

You are very inspiring. I wanted to do the program but i don't like potatoes so well. But i do eat wfpb.
you don't have to like them, that's not what it's about. I didn't particularly like them when I started, very rarely ate them.
@@SpudFit oh. Ok. Interesting. Thank you.
