Are These Swiss Army Knives Discontinued?

A critical review of the Ranger Grip 71 Gardener with shears and Ranger Grip 74 with pliers, and trying to establish why it's being discontinued by Victorinox.

Agree, I am sad that these solid tools are being discontinued. Already I cannot find ones at normal prices.

What was the original MSRP for the 71 Gardener? I'm finding them used in USA for $150+, but some sourced from Japan are under $100.
