i feel like you really didn't consider the fact that if you convert your off-hand you are locking your converted weapon to that class but if you upgrade the dim tree you can use it on multiple different charecters

I decided to go with the Dande, as I felt the Kutum gives me the least amount of value because it doesn't give AP for caphra levels. The 261-265 AP bracket is just too damn good to ignore with the extra 122 hidden AP you get. That 1 AP I can get by C1'ing my weapon could be the difference between hitting the next major AP bracket. Whereas like you said, the kutum would literally just sit in my inventory being wasted.
I just don't quite get this boss exchange logic. You are exchanging like for like items, pen tuvala has same stats as tet boss. With the only benefits being able to go pen with the boss, which you don't recommend, and being able to caphras it, which doesn't really make sense on anything tet except for main and awakening for a few ap. The offhand makes no sense in exchanging if you are just going to leave it tet because it's literally the same thing. The only things that seem ok to exchange would be the main and awakening to be able to caphras. Maybe I am just missing the big picture here but the exchange coupon just seems not very good.
Yeah this is my first season with me playing on console and the rewards seem so underwhelming and with so many stipulations why even play season. Seems like it would better use of time to just grind regular server and outright buy boss gear
@@juraisking201 Then do that. Seasonal is optional. You don't "have to" play.
It's a catch-up mechanic. It won't be as good as if you grinded your butt off for real, but it's still a great boost for the causal playerbase, which is like, everyone nowadays, basically.
@@lmoral222 I understand that but it would be stupid not to start the season and play with the devs not outright saying what console graduation will get. If console gets a pen capotia it would be a waste not to grind season. I'm just stating that all the rewards up until now seem underwhelming.
@@juraisking201 Oh yeah for sure. It's good for anyone rocking a TET Ogre/Laytenn/Tungrad, or needing one. I don't really need it (IV Lunar + V Basi - 293AAPK/305AAPN), though, it'll help if I want a full-on AP monkey build.
but if you buy a TET red nose (and enhance to PEN and convert to dead god) it will probably cost you more than 2.5bil difference in caphras...idk, I think dim tree is still a fine option.
Dim tree is often pick because is a free pen attempt and if you go pen dim tree you are pretty much bound to make it dead god as soon as posible anyways (even if you left behind other upgrades by spending on caphras for it)... its too good of an upgrade from pen dim tree to pri dead god.

if every choice is not very good and you leave kutum untouched why even exchange?
because given the new mechanics of the season, the current exchange coupons will only work on the Season version you got it.
for example:
before on the Autumn and Winter Season, we can use the Season Exchange Coupon from Winter Season and use it to the Tuvala gear that you get on the Autumn Season.
Now, it is not possible, so it's way better to just exchange it this season or else you're going to waste that valuable exchange coupon because it might not work on the next Season.

I agree with your idea , but from another prospective , someone who have all the PEN armors and weapons , can like tap the kutum or any armor to pen equip it and sell the one they have already , huge gain :)
Kutum is a terrible idea. If you’re gonna leave it at TET then tuvala offhand is better as it has same stats and can be improved with Narchillian for +3 monster AP and +3 monster resist.
The best options are either Dim Tree or Giath’s Helmet as you can convert PEN Dim Tree to Fallen God and helmet will be the next Fallen God piece to arrive so you will be able to do the same with PEN Giath’s Helmet.
Finally, there’s another option if you haven’t completed Dorin’s journal. You can fail armor or weapon piece to duo so you can turn them in for the perma +1 DP and +1 AP as well as +20% drop buff for 24h.

Oof I cant say I agree with the part about the Giath's helmet haha.
Another consideration for the offhand is the combatant tuvala stone. For the kutum offhand in general because you're leaving it at TET the longest, it's better to keep the tuvala version because combatant stones gives +3 monster dr and +3 monster ap.

you can also consider pen tuvala helmet > tet giath then c10 > fallen god helmet. But still waiting for the gm notes about the fallen god helm. base on the trend, they might release the new "embers of despair" in the upcoming continent. Odyllita was release oct/nov i think. they might do the same as well for the new mountain continent.
can we assume that eventually everything will be allowed to be converted to fallen god’s?
Just so you know, I went and got a BOSS exchange and tried to swap Tuvala from the previous season. There is no option for it. I went to Fughar and he has no quest, I went to the black smith and he does not have the option either. I tried this on my Season Character on a Season Server and non Season Server. I tried it on a non Season character on Non Season Server too.
Not possible at this stage to repurpose the previous Season gear.
An update for you, after graduating you can then use the boss exchange coupons on previous Season Tuvala, you need to graduate first or you cannot use the coupons. The Tuvala gear needs to be convert before you can use the coupon on it.
So you can keep your whole Tuvala and just swap the previous gear that you no longer use and give it to a another class.
There are 2 things that I don't understand. I'd appriciate if someone could help me.
1.: Why is TET kzarka not good? Isn't kzarka better on the long run? You can't caphra the Blackstar so idk.. (Succ ranger player if that helps)
2.: What does he mean with pick a boss gear that you stick with TET. Why wouldn't you just take the free TET and upgrade it to PEN?
I seriously don't understand these things and I needs some clarification on them.

if you are a newer playe dim tree is the better pic, since you wont go for fallen god for a long time you would rather have the dim tree hp over a red nose. Helemt will also be able to turn into fallen god helmet as well
Honestly just think ill pick 2 armor pieces, and leave them on an alt when i eventually upgrade to pens.

You can exchange previous season converted Tuvala PEN. You need to go Fulgar in Velia and get the question Season Even Sharpier....choose the piece you want then go to Tranan and chat with him to exchange.

take Kutum (secondary weapon) in case you are not sure what to take since this is the boss-gear item you would want to have it stay on TET for the longest time since you won't be able to sell the exchanged item - it is bound to your account. Worth noting is that he said that it's better to use the Red Nose Armor instead of the Dimtree spirits armor to enhance to PEN for the Fallen God's armor exchange since it will cost you less caphras stone to get it to Caphras level 10 (the required level for the Fallen God's exchange). I would go dim tree or bheggs. Tuvala off hand = Kutum offhand already and considering how it will remain tet for such a long period of time it will not be viable to upgrade via enhancing. Better to save for the repurchase at pen or at tet to enhance later down the road.
Yep, I've converted Dim last season, and sold my normal TET Dim, and then I learn about the caphras difference.
Just keep it as back up and enhance a red nose
Imo kutum is the worst choice, you can reform base pen tuvala by melting narch gear which will make it slightly better than tet kutum

( example: I have corsair season, I want to exchange the offhand ) but what do I do first? firstly exchange tuvala corsair into boss corsair and then with a offhand exchange coupon change for my ninja main ? will it work ? maybe the exchange coupun will not work if the weapon is untradable ,idk. When you exchange it, you'll get given a weapon box. You can then open the box on any class you want, afterwards it'll be bound and you'll need a coupon to reroll it :)
when do those seasons (season and season+) end?

Tried converting spare tuvala (converted) boots from first season with this exchange coupon. Can't seem to get the quest to even begin the process.
I have an exchange coupon from last season that i never played.. somehow have one. Wondering if I can use both, the one from last and 1 from this. Also I have the supressed boss gear from like 1-2 years ago thats stuck at Tri. So really deciding on Bhegs and Dim tree. I already have full tet weps
so if by chance you get the exchanged dim to fallen god, its no longer bound and you can sell it on the market??
Is the fallen god armor quest 1-per character/1-per family? Or can you do it as many times as you get the materials? Trying to see if it was a possibility to get 2 through quest/grind
you can get as many as you want as long you get a C10 PEN Boss Armor + Flame of Despair.
But good luck getting it tho, as those are pretty gated on pretty low RNG gates (PEN Boss Armor as it is and getting Flame of Despair by either thru grinding or getting it on the marketplace) as well as having high silver investment (it's more than ~7k caphras needed for C10, which equates ~21billion already) and high AP requirements (since you need to grind Turos, which needs to have at least 270+ AP and at least 340+ DP requirement)
im not sure about the kutum choice, you can get a combatant's tuvala offhand and itll be better than a tet kutum

Current season boss gear conversion coupons have worked for previous season tuvala gear before. I converted pieces from my summer tuvala gear with the autumn AND winter seasons with the respective boss coupon(winter gave 2 iirc). My guildie converted his summer tuvala awa wep to a dande earlier this year with the winter coupons. It should definitely work to convert older tuvala pieces with this early boss exchange coupon
Im by the way grabbing a giaths from this season, reason being is that i dont need tet gear and thus im using it for failstacks. The only one of these items that i wouldnt mind if it went pen is the helmet because i then have that third of the eventual fallen god helmet that they revealed to be the next piece in the set ready to go. All the other pieces would just be unecessary and penning them would be annoying as fuck since its a wasted failstack pretty much until a fallen god piece is released for that slot which might be years away at this point

Last season I went for dim tree and saved money from tapping it to pen and now I'm going for bheg next. I don't think kutum is a good idea when you can get combatant tuvala subweapon that is better than tet kutum.
You have a good point on the combatant sub weapon but I think it is more reasonable to put it 9n your main or awakening weapon
Does the exchange turn a weapon into a box to be opened on a character or the exact weapon you exchange. I'm guessing box per most exchanges, but just making sure.

No you cant. This is false info. There is no fallen god helmet, its the next PLANNED fallen god piece but they said they are not actively working on it and it is going to be 1-2+ years away.

You can have 70 Shells by completing free season pass + 40 Shells if you paid the pass

Tet Blackstar is the equivalent of caphras 5 pen kzarka. So yeah, unless you have more than caphs 5 then tet bs is better.

i went for pen kzarka since I only do PvP and never grind, so yeah...
@@seanowens3153 offin has always been considered the meme main hand weapon for awhile. As far as I know, the accuracy with kzarka is way more beneficial ind the long run. Unless you struggle to reach certain ap brackets, go offin.

You get a leveling chest. As you level it up you can get shells that way. Same thing as leveling up, you get them as rewards as well. The other way is completing Season goals (you can also get even more shells with the Season Pass).
So you want 3 exchange coupons but you only think one thing on that list is even worth it. So what were you going to do with the other two anyway? 🤦♂

Watch again, toward the end he says he would pick Kutum offhand, maybe Dande if we got two. As generally there aren't a better BIS option there, except maybe gloves. So this all depends on what you need, Kutum/Gloves/Dande

i pen my dim tree that's from the season at 77fs(right after i bought a pen red nose) and made it into a fallen god armor 🤣

You can convert any piece even weapons just so long as you have weapon exchange coupons left that they have handed to us a few months ago.
