Nah that campaign is the worst single player experiences ever and the worst ww2 story in existence, it spat on everything the veterans of the Allied powers fought for.
Or Treyarch being forced to work on Vanguard and MW3 Zombies and instead of Black Ops Gulf War.
I’ve heard that SHG has wanted to do Advanced Warfare 2 since COD WWII but Activison won’t let them. Thankfully they are at least letting up do an AW themed Season in MWIII though

@@Fuegopaintrain Yes MW2 was really broken but to an extent if everything is broken then it is it really broken. Also MW3 and COD4 had solid balancing overall. Also let's not forget that Treyarch has had some extremely broken things in their games too. BO1 FAMAS, AK74U and Galil, BO2 target finder LSAT and of course the brecci in BO3. Every Cod was broken with something including the ones from Treyarch. Let's just agree that they both made fantastic games at their peaks

Sledgehammer was forced to do vanguard, now that infinity wards reputation is in the dirt their finally letting sledgehammer do what they want.

Sledgehammer is the best at multiplayer, IW is the best at campaign and Treyarch is the best at Zombies
I still think treyarch is the best at multiplayer but sledgehammer is definitely better than IW. Then I agree with your other 2 takes!

@@AscendARhonestly, I believe both SHG and 3Arc to be great at multiplayer. Sledgehammer sucks at zombies which is why they were never allowed to make zombies after WW2

@chunkylilpeanut I completely disagree. Whilst it was underwhelming, it wasn't the worst. The story had stakes unlike mw2. Story wise, it's the best of the rebooted MW series and gameplay wise it's the worst. There are much worse campaigns, such as Vanguard, BO3 and Ghosts

I still think Sledgehammer shouldn't be doing anymore WW2 games at all. Let Treyarch and Infinity Ward hold the throne for this one.
Even though they listen to their community, their games have received decent to bad reviews from their three games AW, WW2 and Vangaurd.

While I didn't like WW2's multiplayer before or after the changes, I have thoroughly enjoyed the MW3 better quite a bit. Maybe a few changes to make the guns feel more powerful and adjust TTK for some weapons, and you have a great game (in my opinion)
If there’s one thing Infinity Ward did listen to us about it’s the IW Zombies mode
And Sledgehammer even fixed the nametags for us
Treyarch never disappoints from waw to Cold War they have carried the cod franchise on there backs treyarch walked so Infinity ward could run….backwards in the other direction

Last season in cod i got 100% then when it hit the thing where it closes everything it locked the pass and i owned it but didnt get me anythign and they said they only recall 15% done

Everytime sledgehammer is mentioned in a game that did bad they get ALL the hate but whenever they make a good game that has someone like Activision all praise goes to Activision instead of Sledgehammer
Activision is one of the groups involved in ruining COD besides just IW. Sledgehammer needs more praise especially when they did so much to fix their games when they had major issues at release such as with WW2

Treyarch made world at war and all the black ops games. Infinity wars made the modern warfares (except the new MW3), ghosts, and infinite warfare. Sledgehammer made advanced warfare, cod WW2, vanguard, and the new MW3

True af. Cod mw2 2022 was a disasterpiece.
The only reason why MW three 2023 is getting any flack is because they feel ripped off that they’re paying $70 for a new game that has all of the features that they are really wanted to have and also because they’re getting the remastered maps of modern warfare two thatwere planned to be in the second year lifecycle of modern warfare 2022. When in actuality, modern warfare, three 2023 is going to be one of the best call of duty games we had in years only because fudge hammer actually listens to feedback.
SHG is one of those studios that I felt always got the short end of the stick mainly because of Activision. WW2 and Vanguard only exist because this shitty joke of a publisher outright forced them to make a cod game I bet SHG didn't even have any interest to make in the first place, TWICE.
After what Sledgehammer did with Vanguard, and how they pushed around Treyarch, IW needs to do quite a lot to drop lower.
Sledgehammer did listen to feedback in WW2, but not Vanguard, and in fact I'd argue was rather hypocritical with stuff like the setting, tone, and content.
IW may not have been listening to feedback during MWII, but why do that when they can sell a whole new game?

Mw2019 changed up cod by releasing warzone a big cod br with a big player base
When treyarch got forced to release their game a year early it helped increased popularity for warzone
Vanguard made warzone worse with caldera but fuck i’d take those days over warzone 2 any day
Mw2 just basically killed off cod’s large player base in warzone
And the difference between iw and sledgehammer is that one game studio is willing to step up to fix things and actually make a good modern warfare game rather than iw who had 3 years to make mw2
@RubTheDuck Sledgehammer was originally set to make Cold War, but handled it so poorly that they were pushed to work on Vanguard.
Considering how it was basically MW19 in a WWII setting with an insane lack of direction or identity, IW practically gave them any and all props.
Now, did IW mess up in MWII, I agree to an extent that the gameplay felt very stiff even on small maps like shipment. But you can't deny how expansive and innovative they were with what they originally made in MW19.
Sledgehammer is only getting credit for work done by IW with their old maps, their reboot series, all their content from MWII being carried over, and Treyarch once again handling zombies.
IW could have easily brought back slide canceling or balanced it back out, but why would Activision allow that when they can make a whole new game? Sledgehammer is getting the most free redemption arc I've ever seen in the gaming industry, which I defiently don't consider justified.

You know, MWII would have been a much better game had they added red dots on the minimap, added more classic MP maps and removed SBMM.

Mw2 isnt bad, it is lacking in some areas, (red dots on the minimap) but it is a good game. It doesn't deserve all the hate. (Microtransactions can still suck it)
it’s funny because IW has made some of the best cods (Cod4, MW2, Ghosts (yes i think ghosts is one of the best cods)) but they’ve also made some of the worst cods (mw19, mw22, iw (iw wasn’t that bad))
Not sure if it's Sledgehammer or Activision pulling the strings on this, but if they truly want to listen to the community, then they should remove SBMM.

@AscendAR oh hectic my bad G. Thought infinity ward was behind the latest one coming out. From a personal opinion, I'd say the last COD that I sunk a good amount of hours in is MW2019. The only aspect of MW2 2022 that I enjoyed was the campaign because it was a continuation of MW2019

Sledgehammer tried to make cod good again aw was decent not bad as I thought it was of course I’m gonna be biased as hell but I love ww2 cause I enjoy the campaign and zombies multiplayer was ok but war mode is fun as hell just annoying that they keep saying there building a bridge and etc other wise I think they had some what of a effort to keep cod going but releasing ww2 when fortnite was in its prime was definitely made a bad timing for it and I given them some credit for listening to the fan base and made some what descent cods I think time wise was just unfortunate of release dates but then we would be upset if there was no new cod that was promised the release date was not met and extended much longer than it needed to

SHG made AW wich was ok, WW2 wich was bad, then they listened and it was great. Vanguard was TRASH but they atleast listened and tried. MW3 beta was amazing, seems theyve got it. IW made mw19, which had really good movement.... by accident. Slide cancelling and bunnyhoping are glitches that IW did not want. The maps sucked. MW2 is what IW was going for before accidentally making slide cancelling. IW has dropped the ball. SHG is now #2 (3arc number 1)

It’s been rough the past 4 years. I think Cold War was solid but could’ve been great with toned down SBMM. And that’s kind of what MW3 feels like. So, an improvement over the last couple years
