If you went a bit further, it doesn’t actually delete your account. It takes you to another page where you have to enter text saying that you ‘agree’ to deleting the account. Once the text is added, the delete button should become active. However, it doesn’t matter how much text you enter, that button never becomes active so you can’t delete it. This is just one of many things that is disappointing about Ali Express.

Update: someone in the comments mentioned that you need to type “agree” with a lower case ‘a’. It will then allow you to delete the account. I just tried it.

I'm so pissed off of this app right now. I don't have the possibility to switch to the regular site because it changes to the app and I don't find this setting you have been using. Deleting the app causes the problem, that I don't even find the setting "delete" and typing the verifying code to the app itself doesn't even work. What the hell is this?!

@@clickntap yup! I went to delete my account after several fail attempt of ordering product. They closed my order but still charge me for the product. Lucky I paid through PayPal. Unfortunately I went through all the steps to delete the account and was stuck on the last page with a grayed out button not allowing me to submit the delete request.

@@clickntap the “delete my account” button on the first page is red , after clicking on that it goes to a secondary page with all the notice and agreement for final confirmation. Even after typing in “agree” the “submit button” is still light blue.
