Greetings from Poland. I've reached a milestone - video number 50! What a wonderful back-catalogue. Silverbank site looked nice. What a gorgeous walk along the River Dee to Banchory. Your Curry Night looked fun Falls of Feugh and Scolty Hill were beautiful despite the terrible weather. For me, Crathes Castle was the best visit on this vlog. Dog friendly too! A lovely video. Stay safe and see you again soon.
This was my 1st video of yours that I have watched. I loved it so much! It happens to be that your in a town I know and love and you showed it off well, even though the weather did not shine at this time. I enjoyed your narration very much. I appreciated seeing what and how you cooked too. This was just a great video and I look forward to checking out more of your fun adventures. All the best!
Thanks for watching Monica, we are glad that you have found us. It sure is a beautiful place to visit, there are just so many amazing place in Scotland, we are so lucky. Hope you enjoy our other videos.

Very enjoyable. Loved the long range shots of you all. The ghost story was good and that shot of the swallows swooping. Impressive hidey hole tree and probably the best we have seen. Keep them coming ❤️
Thanks Ken & Carol, we really enjoyed Banchory and getting some of these shots. Wee red camper does not have the same Scottish feel so your branding is safe 😉
Wow, so far away, we have been to Barbados and St Lucia in 2012 for our 25th wedding anniversary but not to Guadeloupe, it must be very beautiful there Thanks for watching.
@@MikeandTriciaOotnAboot It is beautiful but I miss Scoland (Ayrshire) so much. We will be moving back home in 2 years cant wait. Then we will be buying a wee broon van to.
Full of interesting facts and information as usual and it was a cooling experience just watching in this mini May heatwave we're having 🤣. The last time I stayed by the Dee was twenty-five years or so ago and the hotel is now apartments, by the Dee in Ballater. If you didn't get that rain around those parts then it wouldn't be so green and beautiful. I wish I could still climb those hills like I used to but it's a good job I have folks like you to do it for me 🤣. Looking forward to another installment soon. Reallenjoy the snippets of interesting facts. I never have worked out whether having an eclectic mind is a boon or a bane though 🤔 but either way I'm stuck with it as it appears you both are.. 👍
Definitely a boon, but makes the film making more challenging when I see things and want to know about them, the research often follows the filming and voice over works for that approach. Happy to do the hills for you there is a good one coming soon.
Hi Mike and Tricia. Really enjoyed the vlog. Pity the weather was against you on Scolty Hill. The views would have been even more impressive if the clouds had cleared and the drone could have been flown. Crathes Castle looked the business - just the kind of place we like to visit. We've got a Scottish Tour coming up, and tried to book Silverbank but couldn't get the dates to fit, but it's on our "to go" list. Another smashing video. Thanks again. Safe travels. George and Trish - CaravanningMacs
Another enjoyable video guys. Not been to either the falls or the castle, we will be up in Turriff visiting friends later in the year so will be sure to go see them both.
That was great little video guys. Up in Aberdeen ourselves for a few nights at the weekend and actually drove to Banchory on Sunday eve after visiting Stonehaven…the park and the falls were really nice. Safe travels 👍🏼

Great video, there's some wonderful trees in Scotland. Shame about the weather but it didn't stop me from enjoying the video drinking a cup of coffee here in the dry.
Looked like your enclosure was made of vinyl? We had a 4 sided vinyl enclosure on our pontoon boat. It snapped on and was easily rolled up during warm days. But oh, was it a nice wind/rain break and gave us nice protection against the elements. You guys made me tired with all your walking, but I give you credit for all that exercise and fresh air. Take care. Sandy from OH, USA
Hi Sandy, yes vinyl so it is very waterproof and cab just be dried with a cloth before packing away, and its just enough to keep the wind at bay. We sure did a lot of walking on that one, a good enough excuse to put the feet up and have a glass or two 🤣
Another great video the wood carvings were amazing, I've never heard of Cathes castle, l used to love going out in the rain in Scotland it always smelled so fresh, not like here in Florida it just smells humid. There is so.much of Scotland l didn't see, but when your young and just starting a family, you don't think of going to far, we went to Beescraig park often it wasn't far, or a drive to Queensferry. Good to see you both out enjoying nature. 🌞
Thats what I do when camping with a curry same brand as well. My tip add a spoonful of lime pickle and garam masala to the beef madras. Heaven whith no bill.
The Feugh is not pronounced Fook it is pronounced FEUGH AS IN FEUCH Emphasis on the U hope that helps. Crathes castle is called Crath es . great video . x

Thanks Mick, the castle was an unexpected bonus being right next to the campsite. Hope the weather is holding up in Orkney.
