Thanks Nev I use polystyrene boxes too. Just one question, do the grass clippings heat up and in so doing make a hot compost? Obviously not otherwise you wouldn't have made the video : ) I remember excitedly filling up a raised bed once then planting in it....only to burn the roots of my plants. I had great soil once I'd waited a while.
Hey Angela, there are not enough grass clippings to heat up that much. They will warm up a bit during decomposition but not much. We use this process every year to so our onion seed and it works a treat. :-)
