I'm with you. With the legislation up for consideration, I don't think DJI will be releasing a kit anytime soon (if at all).
I’m with you I think it has a effect on what they do I know other countries have FPV but I know the US has a abundance type attitude and for our small community it can’t help I know they see what we can’t
I believe DJI will release the 04 Air Unit because not doing so is inviting competitors to get a leg up. Not because competitors will be able to quickly create something just as good, but because DJI could lose the faith their customers have in them to always be years ahead of any competition in this space. I can't explain why it hasn't happened other than maybe they just want to sell the Avata 2 to everyone who is anxious to experience the better camera and then move on to the FPV crowd. The Avata 2 is a good FPV drone but it doesn't replace a real FPV because it has so many limitations. I constantly get the "Too Far/High" error that then kicks me back into controlled flight and that's crazy annoying. But it does fly well and serves a purpose for sure. I will keep it and I will ALSO buy several 04 Air Units when they are released.
I’m not sure that prayers will help. The overall situation in the world differs from those years before the pandemic and these ongoing wars. Especially when it comes to electronics on the global market. What we are seeing is companies that hold their positions and evaluate the new landscape while they will try to establish new strategies in an attempt to reach customer they have not had before. In this process the old customers will feel a bit confused and uncomfortable, I suppose.
That was a potent charger, jeeeeez. 60 Amps would fit like a glove in a long range project me and a couple of others have started. But I presume it might not be realistic to think that you would be eligible when you live on the other side of the Atlantic, but I congratulate the lucky one who gets it. 😃

When it comes down to it DJI is just going to do what they feel will make the most money. That’s not as strait forward of a thing as most would think though. Can they produce enough stock to support a O4 air unit and the Avata 2? What level of stock is left of the O3? Will they be able to still sell in the USA? Will a new offering cannibalize their own sales? Do they space out new releases to keep their name in the news? Lots of things they have to consider.
I hope they bring 04 out man but i know what your saying therewith it been DJI bud. By the way i got them T-motors for my iflight nazgul evoque f5 v2 that you have on yours and told me a while back on a comment on one of your video's that they work well and make it fly on rail's🤪So i fitted them and i love them! So thanks for referring them to me bro!✌ oh and if i join and become a £89.99 a month supporter what is the free drone id get or cant i join that one if im in the UK? might have to go with the middle one if not. youve helped me alot and give me some good advice when it comes to FPV on all your videos so i think you have earned it Justin💯

I would obviously love an o4 air unit as well. If not, an Avata 2 purchase would be in the works as a result of the backwards compatibility update.
Totally possible 🤯🤔 and it's a throw away drone (non repairable) for most part. Crazy... I hadn't even thought about it. Fingers crossed. I hope they release 04 units. Keep the great videos coming man 😁 would love a new charger
I do believe they will bring out O4. Obviously with the climate with DJI and US at the moment, it might just be put on hold a little. Let's keep our fingers crossed! I love my Avata 2. Can't believe I managed to clock 105km/h yesterday (with a light tailwind yesterday in Manual mode with the output hack).
I’m with you, I’m also hoping for the 04 unit. I’m just getting into real FPV flights especially with all the chaos surrounding the lockdown on DJI drones. This has prompted me to start focusing on true FPV

I think they will come out with 04 units eventually but there are indeed some hints that point to that it's not gonna happen. One is that the 04 camera seems to be too big to fit in BNF quads or regular older frames so they won't sell enough 04 units because of that. But still:
I still believe they will bring it very soon. I Say, July/August it's going to be available.
I’m just getting back into FPV after taking a break for a few years when it was analog. Bought an avata 2 and love it. Now I want a micro but I can’t fathom buying a new pair of goggles and controller 2. I’m thinking of getting Walksnail for now. Help me lol
I hope so because what a difference on the range and place we can fly .
rumours said 20km ..but all i want is action 4 cam with dji 04 need it for microdrone .. such as pavo pico and darkstar 20.. imagine you got action cam 4 quality at 150gram drone .. sheeeeeezz it will take the market.. no more go pro

I do hope your wrong but at the same time the 03 air unit is good. If they don't come out with a 04 we going to be OK now if they don't make the 03 cross compatible then that's when I will get mad lol. I only got the avata2 for the head set . Avata 2 is just a tool to get my other drones out of trees lol

Goggles 3 are compatible only with the avata 2, the new firmware added support for the goggles 2 to be used with the avata 2, so as it stands the goggles 3 are the least compatible goggles on the planet, the goggles 2 can use vista, o3/avata and avata 2/o4
I believe the firmware update Justin is referring to is an update to make the Goggles 2 compatible with the Avata 2 and the DJI controller 2 and older motion controller compatible with the Avata 2. This is nice for people that already own Goggles 2 and DJI Controller and want to buy the Avata 2 and not have to buy the Goggles 3 and the newest DJI Controller. Justin did state that there is a firmware update making the Goggles 3 have backwards compatibility but I believe he is mistaken.

We are living in a grey zone. Now I have to replace my V2, but, what should I do? Buy Integra in order to fly with my O3 drones? Buy the G3 and wait? How long? Does it worth to buy a new drone right now, with O3, or should I wait for a hypothetical O4? So I keep on spending in WS drones right now.

frankly, i just want the camera. i want my old hardware like the v2 goggles to work. i was impressed with the colors and the night capabilities of the 04 but like the rest of the o3
DjI will do what DJI does. The system sells itself so there's no need for artificial hype. They're just busy making money elsewhere, or timing it after some known legislation is due.
F 04 air unit. What do we have to do to make them hurry and allow our goggles 3 work with 03 air unit and older ones

As long as they can make the goggles 3 compatible with the 03 air unit I'm chilling, was finally looking to upgrade from goggles V2 to goggles 3 and the air unit and thank god I did some research, why they are not compatible makes really no sense...

I think the possible DJI ban here in the US will delay any decisions by DJI makes about releasing new products. I literally just got the Avata 2 and it might be illegal for me to fly it soon? So ridonk
I don't think it will be illegal to fly what you already have. Just illegal to aquire/ sell more equipment from them

I would really like O4 not to come out now. O3 is now unrivalled and meets all the requirements of a digital system. Right now, the release of O4 makes no sense. Every product has its own time.

If I were DJI, I wouldn't release a DJIo4 product until I really made a lot of profit in sales of Avata 2 or until I released a new product like Avata 3 with VTX that exceeds DJIO4, Who with me xxx 😂😂😂
