57. 100 Iconic Bollywood Costumes by S Assoumull
Thank you for watching & don't forget to subscribe! 🧡
Again, my girl Aishwarya takes the cake. She looked absolutely ethereal in the entire film.
agree 💯💯💯 Jodhaa Akbar was so iconic!!! Aish was perfection in it - Hrithik too 🧡🧡🧡
@@thatgirltas Also, I know that Madhuri was the bride's sister in "Hum Aapke Hain Koun...! BUT that purple saree was ICONIC and quite a trendsetter in shaadis🤩.
I remember that look - also Madhuri recreated it recently and she looks so fabulous! @@mohammedalil4313
I was always disappointed by Rani's wedding outfit as she was so proud of being a Bengali and that was half of her problems with Rocky's family wanting to sacrifice that aspect. I felt like her wedding just didn't make sense to that aspect, as then her wedding was completely Punjabi with not one bit of her Bengali heritage in it. It just felt like trying to insert a Manish Malhotra design in something that wasn't related.
This is such a great observation💯💯 i didnt mind the big karan johar style wedding at the end but it was DEFINITELY not in keeping w the character of Rani !!!
Oh God I thought the same too❤❤❤ KJo tends to forget these intrinsic details everytime it seems😢
I love the fact that were seeing bridal dresses come in all different colors. As much as I love the classic red and gold color scheme, there are other colors and combinations that deserve so much love too!
For sure 🧡🧡🧡
Aishwarya Rai is just royalty.
Cannot believe you didn't mention Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam... Aishwaiyas outfits were so incredible throughout the film. Especially the jewellery. ❤
Karishma’s beautiful purple wedding dress from the movie Dulhan hum le jayenge is never talked about but it is one of the most beautiful bridal dresses ever of bollywood movies
I didn't like the rocky ranu wedding dress. Rani is a Bengali character, and her bridal dress was not at all a Bengali one. I don't understand the reason to do so as Bengali bridal looks is gorgeous
Bollywood is racist to non-punjabis
I'll be honest marriage isn't something I look forward to but DAMN when I see that bridal look of Kareena in 3 idiots, my easy to manipulate heart goes...Just get married, for that bridal look
I love that one too - it's sooo pretty 🧡
What about Rani Mukerji’s iconic bridal look from Hum Tum & Baabul😭
Another great video, Tas. I recently watched Rocky and Rani, and that wedding scene was breathtaking. My favorite bridal look is most definitely from Kalank, too.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it 🧡🧡🧡 I loved how Rocky was so emotional in the wedding song too - he was such a sweet character!
Ame todo , Deepika en Bajirao Maastani y padmavaat son mis favoritos.
Such great choices - i love those too! 🧡🧡🧡
How could you forget Madhuri Dixit's iconic purple lehenga from HUM APKE HAIN KAUN
No one watched the movie but the wedding look that lives in by head is the one from Notebook released in 2019. It can be seen in the song Nai Lagda. The color of that dress stunning
your opinion about ayan is so real!! I had to turn off the movie because the whinning became utterly unbearable
Yesss he was the worst - the limit for me was when Alizeh finally told him that she was terminally ill and even though he was taking care of her - HE STILL WOULDN'T DROP THE TOPIC OF A RELATIONSHIP - like she just wants peace and happiness and the end and this man won't chill 😭😭
My fave was veer Zara the cream & purple outfit preety wore. . I think I like the more modern looks the all red outfits don’t look that attractive to me.
No offence to Manish Malhotra but we need to move on from that bridal look.
Unrelated to the topic but can I ask if you’re a South African desi ? Your accent is gorgeous !
Weddings? We don’t see them enough in Hindi cinema? Wonder why that is. (Jk)
Kiara Advani wore some beautiful wedding dresses in movies but her real wedding outfit was slightly disappointing. Her outfit made her look wash out.
Whaaat you don’t like ADHM? Giiirl we need a whole video on that!! I must admit I also had to get used to the movie and was very disappointed after I watched it for the first time, and yes I get that Ayan is whiney but isn‘t that so realistic? I know tons of people like that tbh :/ And Ayans double standards give me the ick, but it‘s soo realistic!
The movie has all the KJo ingredients that define his movies like it exlpores different kinds of relationships between possible friends and lovers, where does friendship end and where does love begin? Can you surpress love and/or for how long can you do so? Can men and women ever be just friends? I see similarities here to KKHH or KANK, I think this movie may be his most relatable and realistic movie ever, we see every day characters making mistakes and going back to their toxic ex‘s (which lol I have done too) even thought the audience thinks they should know better and get bothered about it, it‘s such a natural reaction. Also the topic of obession in here is a theme which Karan explores in every movie
I love that Alizeh and Ayan quote old hindi movies the whole time ✨ The songs are amazing too, it may not be Kjos best but I really love the movie🥹
