Hello brother, I want to learn 3D chrachter modeling and animation, I have been learning blender for six months, I have learned the basics of modeling and some basic camera animations and now I am a little confused between Maya and Blender. I want to become an animator and chracter artist and want to work in the industry. I see your profile, you learn Maya, can you help explain why you chose Maya instead of Blender and where do I go for Maya or Blender.
@@rangrezsahil3134 Depends on where you want to work, some places require Maya/Blender/Cinema4D/ect... I would check job postings to see what they are requesting. I personally went to college to get a degree in animation, and took a class or two in 3D going over Maya. 3D is not my strong suit, however I enjoy the process.
Great job everyone!!! Mine is 14:24, not perfect but I'm proud of it. Beside learning character animation I found a workflow that works for me, I did find it a bit too late in the challenge so I still couldn't improve it in time and execute all of my ideas, but it is super useful to know see you all in the next challenges!

Really wanted to take part in this, but i remember the blender rig weren't too great and wasn't sure if retexturing was allowed. Hopefully I'll be there for the next one

Not particularly, I did put the winning shots up front but beyond that I just tried to match energy and themes, eventually just shuffling them all together :P In Resolve, all the files are alphabetically stuffed into one folder so it’s not like there was a dedicated order
Im studing videogame development and we need to do 3D animation on 3ds Max and OMG is sooooooo frustrating when you watch other animations and compare it with your work. I really like 3D animation but it takes soo much time considering you need to do more homework and you need to make it look good.
Next time you need some inspiration, put this montage on in the background! :D Hope to see YOUR shot in our next community challenge!!
