DAMNIT!!i bought it new!!in 85..gave it to a friend,..hope he still has it!!..back in 86 i wrote to mike,..he was so cool,he wrote back, sent me some stickers and a catalog for dogtown skates.i still have the letter!!..ST FOR LIFE
i lost an ebay bid on that album,i stopped at $250.short print run on that,it was hard to find even when it came out.i still have a copy of it but i didnt take care of it.now it is so scratched up,it makes me wana cry
Bought this record at the show at Ruthies Inn in Berkeley .... THE WELCOME TO VENICE TOUR !!!!!!!!!! One of the BADDEST fucking shows I ever SAW !!!!!!!!!! And Beowulf just fucking RULED !!!!!!!!!!!
The best Venice punk comp. ever. I remember buying this in 1985 when it first came out after a buddy of mine was playing this on his tape deck. I re-bought this LP several years back for 100 bones. Well worth it.
I'm gonna turn 40 this year and I still love this music. Even have a couple Suicidal Tendencies tattoos. Wife loves them!! She said if your gonna get them, make them big.
aww shit this takes me back to the left side, butches pad and getting cyco at the gigs, RIP to all the dead homies, BWF P.Y. you are missed SEVOYA you are missed. gracias los cycos...
man this was not an easy thing to find back in the early 80's, I think I got the tape through Thrasher mail order, but it was a dam good comp, played that tape until it broke
Hey, remember that time when you went to his pad in Hollywood to buy a Rocktron Hush rack unit off of him and you guys ended up having a cool conversation?
@@j.boogiedavis9978 honestly on the surface nothing has changed much- it's a slow process of erosion. But when you start paying attention to details it starts to feel like Twilight Zone episode- it's always been weird living here, now even more so)
no prob, also, Anthony"Bob"Gallo was listed as rhythm guitarist but I dont know if he made it to these recordings, and also future suicidal bassist Bob Heathcote was originally going to play bass on this track but was not chosen.
Wish I had been around to purchase this album or even hear it in its full awesome glory... no chance of here of it in the uk... if anyone is feeling generous and upload it someplace?
@Oni64 good to hear, if you wanna grab their first two albums check out my blogspot, theres a link in my youtube channel. i'll probably be uploading "when god dies" soon.
