I am slaverating here in in Athens, mate. Lovely stuff, it's actually a light mild and it was delicious when I used to go on trips to Yorkshire. Not much of it made its way to Newcastle, just Landlord...well that was 10-20 years ago.....
Timothy Taylor is brewed in Keighley ,near Bradford, useing well water, great video, nice to see a traditional beer on show
Aye.. bout a 15/20 min drive from me.. So many good breweries round ere..
Nice bit of kit Simon, yeah Golden Best is a light mild one of the last great Pennine light milds. Boltmaker is the bitter, cheers, slurp 👍🍺
Light mild used to be brewed by Perry brewery until the 1950’s
This looks great Simon, I love the idea of a home bar with kegs and taps etc, but a lot of them are a faff. This however seems to fit the bill for minimal effort for mini kegs. Timothy Taylor's makes lovely beer, they have a depth and quality missing in a lot of modern breweries. Nothing fancy, just great ale.
Light milds are rare and milds are rare
What a great bit of kit, even Simon got it right with no hiccups!
OMG, Timothy Taylor 🤤 sometime i dream about to be British. you are a lucky guy :)
RLBS have just delivered my Cask Real Ale Extractor, can't wait to try it out 👍
That extractor looks handy. Can’t wait to setup my Pint 365 Hand pull 🍻
Hi Simon. That looked A really tasty pint. I would love to help you finish that beer off.
I’ve already bought one Simon got it about a month ago it’s brilliant also the handle should lock over the bung that goes in the keg not over the vent 👍👍
Nice setup. Yes, nothing like the 'shiftie' beer after service.
Great video, does anyone know if the mini keg can be sat under the bar/handpull?
Are you still using this Simon?
Cracking review, Great bit of kit 👌🏻
3,5% is what is called our Folk Beer (People Beer) here in Sweden.
It's not a best bitter it's a light mild like it says on the label. A rare style these days.
Best bitter
@@louisbeerreviews8964 No a very pale mild which is the oldest colour range for mild ale
Now were talking! Stunning🍻😁👍
Legend Simon. I've been trying to work out how I can get my home brew from 5L keg through my pint 365. Just ordered the pipe now so fingers crossed it'll work for me too!
Golden Best is one of the Timothy Taylor's beers that I have never tried. A friend of mine rates it as amongst the best he's ever had.
A very rare beer a mild and a light mild at that
Great video👍🏼, did you have a non return valve inline from the keg or was the beer line straight to the hand pull??
love this video mate. just managed to get myself a hand pull beer engine and im so excited. was gonna go down the route of BIB as i dont have space for a corny, then i came across your 2 videos of the mini keg and i was sold and this extractor makes it even more easier. Going to be filling up my empry mini's with my own brew and so excited. i think the metal gets colder than bags or my pressure barrel and i can get away with putting a 5l mini in the fridge as the missus has warned me about trying to put the 23l pressure barrel in the fridge. one question i want to ask is have you got a demand valve connected to the beer engine? keep up the good vids. cheers.mitch
Can you show how you fit to hand pump please, thanks.
It’s a light mild,a very rare beer style nowadays.
A pity that mild especially light mild has declined over here in Ireland our best selling ale is a malty sweet ale
Do they do the Landlord in those kegs?
the welsh accent is the best isn't it
Aye-up, is the vent connection going into the keg headspace (open) and would it warrant an airlock filter or very low pressure co2 line to keep the beer fresh? I could pop a 3/8th beeline with 0.5psi co2 regulator on there...
I do this on corny kegs with my Pint365 with a sodastream cylinder and low pressure regulator. Sounds like one of these would allow use of mini kegs - I wonder if it's air tight once the lines are removed?
@@EhWhatPardon doubt it would be airtight. I also have corny’s + 365, the check valve is on inlet of handpull and think the two guest fittings on this ‘lance’ are ‘open’. I suppose you could fit a check valve but would be best to finish the keg within the week once opened…👍
Should try party star deluxe for these mini kegs. Means you can keep keg in a fridge and the co2 canister keeps the beer going for at least a week
I highly rate anything from Timothy Taylor's
Where do I get one mate
Can you set it up to the lindr pygmy
Why do you like my comment but not answer?
hi buddy I've bought two of these connectors on your recommendation however the black connection that's on the top which you push your beer line into does not come with it that is a separate item and as this company has a £50 minimum spend I feel you should rectify this as this product does not come complete as shown in this video
Looks like the information now says what's needed for the pint365 on the RLBS website. Minimum spend is only £25.00 which is easy with the other kit on there.
Lol make beer pouring far more easier are you serious? There's nothing more easier then just taking the top off a bottle hand pouring it
Always the risk of it going wrong pouring it out of a bottle or can
