I have to give the staff kudos 👏 💐 They were remarkable with Sarah. Reassuring her, discreetly moving her attention from one thing to another. Honestly, the way they dealt with her anxiety from her disabilities was awesome. Other hospitals need to watch this episode. Her grandad was exceptional too.
The story that Bill told about his stepdaughter calling him “Dad” for the first time on the wedding day is EXACTLY what my daughter did at 9 years old. We will never forget that beautiful moment.❤😊Her Dad and I have been married since 12/21/18 and he is the best father ever and the kind of husband women dream about. I’m SO BLESSED ❤Bill’s story broke my heart when the Dr came in and talked of Cancer but he looks great in his 92nd birthday picture 😊
My 23 yr old grandson was in the national guard. He had what he thought was a bad cold. A chest x-ray later, and he was diagnosed with a large chest tumor. Mediastinal sarcoma. He survived just under 8 months. We were in complete and utter shock. 🥺
I agree with the gentleman that had met his father at age 30. I feel the same way. How can you miss or feel anything you have never had. That was something our Adoption worker never understood that. She kept asking me how I felt about him. I feel nothing about him. Never wanted to. I'm 68 years old.
I'm staggered. In hospitals in Australia you would never be allowed to bring takeaway food into a hospital, and certainly not for a patient. Its sterile and controlled environment. The canteen can be used for visitors and staff, but not for patients. They can only eat what been approved by the doctor attending.
@@karenlucas4263 I guess it depends on the situation. Maybe they rushed her to hospital right before they were going to eat something and had to wait for hours. At some point you have to consider to get some food, otherwise you may faint and can't be there for your child...
The comment about you walk in for one things and find another applies to me. I was being screened for high blood pressure issues and they found a brain tumor.
I'm very sorry to hear about your story. 😢 I hope you get good treatment and have a chance to recover! All the best for your future and the best health possible! ❤
I was diagnosed with hemochromatosis when I was 34 yrs old. Since then I’ve gone through 60 surgeries well 61 come August 27 . I’m 72 years old my doctors are extremely worried about this one I have an abdominal aortic aneurysm that’s grown over 6 cm so it has to be repaired.
I have heard of some people thinking a different way or having urges from a transplant. Isn't that interesting to have someone else's thoughts, feelings, cravings.
I watched a lot of 24 hours in A&E and I can’t believe that patients are allowed to eat there. In America, it’s strictly not allowed, incase you will require surgery or have an IV medication.
I live in America and I’ve brought food to a friend in the er. She had suspected appendicitis but once everything came back clear and she would not be needing surgery she was allowed to be brought food. They actually encouraged her to eat something so they could give her some additional meds. Also, at one point I saw a nurse go to the entrance and grab delivery for I believe a colleague.
I have a friend who’s head was split in half when the military humbi hit a land mine and he has another persons brain now and he randomly started playing the banjo like he’s been playing a banjo for 10+ years he’s a military veteran
I'm torn between Let people eat what they want in the hospital while waiting, and knowing that I'm not the only person to get nauseous by the smell of certain spices.
Sarah’s grandad….. what a beautiful human, and what a precious family unit ❤️
I love how the nurses had the crying girl with learning disabilities smiling in a short time! So sweet.
Sarah's Grandad is such a precious man...he absolutely adores her, best Grandad!!
I can’t believe that Bill is 92 years of age! He looks so very young and healthy!!
I honestly thought he wasn't that much older than his stepdaughter for moment.
I figured maybe in his 70’s!
My sister is 91 ,but no one believes it.
@@meatavoreNana my Mom is 94 but looks like 84…she won’t tell me how she does it. Lol.

That sweet nurse helping that older gentleman. She has such a kind heart and is in the right line of work.
Doctor not nurse

Similar happened to my uncle. He passed away just over a decade ago
I'm sorry for your loss. Very sad.
l am so sorry for both of your losses.
My condolences to both of you 😞
That young nurse who was caring for the disabled lady Sarah was so sweet and kind to her patient. ❤
I really appreciate Kevin, the porter!
He is so nice, a nice person!
And a bundle of energy!
Und has a great sense of humour! ❤
I’m addicted to these shows….!
Bill looks amazing for his age. What a brilliant man. I would have put him in his late 70’s or early 80’s if asked
This episode showed the good in humanity... made me quite emotional.
Love how Sarah’s grandad knew straight away when she wasn’t quite right in A&e, and then she started slurring.
Awe. Being a father to Jo is his greatest achievement.
Bill seems like the best dad, and I can't believe he's 92! It makes me want to start walking a bunch so I can look like him when I'm that age. 😂
It's so sweet how he loves his granddaughter ❤
Sami & her pink stethoscope is so-o-o fabulous! I once had a black stethoscope with a red bell! It got lots of comments! All heartwarming!
I love Kevin the Porter !
I didn't realize how much i enjoyed this show until seeing this twice.
Thank you.
Great thing for clinicals in healthcare !! I love banijay& kings college hospital & Saint George’s hospital ❤❤❤❤❤❤
“How’s everybody doing …….. Chillin” makes me laugh every time 😂🤣😂🤣😂
These wonderful team of doctors who are in total control for taking care of the patient

I love the gentlemans attitude. Greetings from Phoenix, Arizona😅

I do it all the time - in Sydney …. Uber eats are a regular in hospitals

that 91 year old man makes me miss my dad so very much. he even looks a bit like him.
I overcame the fear of CT scan and I was relaxing and safely holding my breath during the CT scan time.
That young lady Dr was wonderful. 😊
eating chicken curry in a shared hospital space is diabolical.
Yes disgusting.😮

This one really got to me... such lovely people, patients, family and staff.
Good morning Banijay, and everyone ❤️🙂⚘️🏥.
Dr Sammy is so gorgeous, such beautiful eyes and love that accent and that smile, wow and so much empathy, she’s amazing.
I would love to be a friend of Bill.
Or Clive!!
Hi Susan! 😊
BILL IS ONE FORTUNATE DAD TO JO!

I'll be praying for you to get well soon.
I very much hope everything went well with your huge operation! ❤

It was the first time I'd heard that there were those types of side effects. Just imagine...
The young man with the baby boy, Jibril.. such a beautiful name. I hope he's well.
geez the 91 year old guy looks sooo young, my goodness. I would've like having is genes. I hope his health is that of a much younger guy,
May heart broke for that sec patient. That poor girl it's so sad to see how she has to suffer
May Sarah's Dad RIP
Curry and chips in the emergency room!
YUCK
I also love all three hospital also one day the hospitals here in the US can learn how to do better from these hospitals
I'd really like to know how they had the pedestrian's Wife's details, but nothing on him? (Had no ID)

I live in New Zealand and it's the same here. In our ED departments there are signs up asking people waiting to be seen to "refrain from eating".

……dealing with a nentally challenged person, one would need great patience. Her grandad seems a lovely person……

The door 😂
Andy seems to be born under a bad luck sign….
the man that is in his 90's I would have guessed him to be in his early 70's.
looking at andy I knew he was a punk rocker.
In South Africa private and public hospitals you can eat.pretty much do what you please ! Standards are dropping.
It's true. They encourage families to bring food for the patients. Everything gets stolen - food, linen, meds etc.
91?! I need what he has!
I'm a chohaolic I love regular chocolate hot fudge chocolate chip cookies l chocolate fudge cake ❤
34:00 What kind of feral people bring a curry to a hospital ?
Hungry oned
So what.
I'm torn between Let people eat what they want in the hospital while waiting, and knowing that I'm not the only person to get nauseous by the smell of certain spices.
You can eat a chicken curry in a hospital cubicle???….imagine smelling that when your really sick 🤮
American here…sure could use subtitles! Just sayin….
What a wonderful man you are Bill....will you marry me 😀
Was Bill writing Sammy a card? 🥹
