_Brooklyn 99 is absolutely hilarious. The writing is fantastic, Jake, Holt, and Rosa are some of my favorite characters in any sitcom, and the cold opens are iconic.
This show also really knew how to write for an ensemble car. So many ensembles fail to help us know our car about even its smaller characters, but these Brooklyn 99 writers had me as a fan of all characters, from Jake, Holt, and Amy to Sully, Hitchcock and even the Pontiac Bandit! So great! 🤩
Sadly this is my top 3 favorite show, others are community and Its always sunny in philadelphia, but b99 sadly had really strong start, and then great season 3,4,5 were EPIC, and then from there it was downfall... since NBC took over it was meh.. only few episodes here and there, like halloween ones, and ending. last season was just bad.. like really bad.. specially that first episode... but still just GREAT show.
I'm gay and I think it went too heavy on the "woke sexualities" stuff in the netflix remake, although it was good too see, didn't need to be the whole thing

I've seen a couple of episodes of Abbott Elementary and it's cute. I want to see the full series because I adore Tyler James Williams since Everybody Hates Chris and I'm glad he's getting more opportunities.
@@kamsismith I'd definitely recommend watching the full series. It's cute and feel good, and while the whole cast is excellent, Tyler really stands out to me.
I remember the day Season 2 was renewed, my mom asked me if he was still acting since she hasn't seen him in stuff. I saw him in The Walking Dead, Dear White People(the movie, not the show), and Let it Shine.
I LOVE Superstore, The Good Place, How I Met Your Father, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Home Economics!! I'm currently watching Abbott Elementary and it is amazing.
Shows you should have mentioned: -Insecure -Everything Is Gonna Be Ok -We Are Lady Parts -Reservation Dogs -Grand Crew -Work In Progress -Speechless -Special -People Of Earth -What We Do In The Shadows -Bust Down -Difficult People -Rutherford Falls -Grace and Frankie -Single Drunk Female -Please Like Me
If there's ANY current running sitcom for kids that's the most worth watching, it's The Villains of Valley View. It's not nearly as good as That's So Raven, Zack and Cody or Wizards but it's the last kidcom left that feels like it's actually taking itself seriously. They're not wasting time making mediocre or bad seasons of television. They're trying to make the show as fun and creative as it can be! Dare I say it, it feels more like a golden age Disney sitcom more than Raven's Home ever did! Not every joke lands, but when it does it's hilarious! There are some things I wish they would've done differently like writing WHEN Hartley finds out the secret or giving the antagonists more depth. Regardless, I'm in my late 20s and I love it!
Insecure deserves an honorable mention! Abbott Elementary is my favorite new sitcom!! The acting, the cast, the writing is everything!! So funny and smart!! Quinta is a genius!!
I'm a sitcom nerd and I approve this list ☺️ Maybe they can make 'The Good Place' higher on the list because that show is top tier from start 'till the end 💗
Absolutely agree! If I see a list of good shows especially comedy/sitcom and it doesn’t have the good place I’m not trusting the other items, but this is great! But the good place would always be the 1st for me
No I agree wholeheartedly, The Good Place should’ve been WAY higher like you kidding me? It’s an absolutely phenomenally beautiful show and I adore it to pieces.
I JUST LOVE SITCOMS My favorites are Hot in Cleaveland, Brooklyn 99, Mom, Schitts Creek, Superstore (so good) and I have to say Modern Family ('cause it's just PERFECT)
Superstore is one of the most hilarious sitcoms I've watched! They're all so quirky and special in their own way... I also love The Mindy Project it's super funny as well.
@@CaseyCampbell17 Religion plays a significant role in DG, because the main characters attend a Catholic school. However, most of the plots aren't about religion.
Because Watchmojo is Canadian and most of their subscribers on the channel are from Canada and America except me since I'm from Southeast Asia and I love watching some Watchmojo videos
i dont think they make sitcoms like they use to so i always end up re watching the ones i grew up with. But i did recently watch SuperStore and it’s hilarious! I recommend it to anyone. I might watch Home Economics next since i know some of the characters. Seems underrated.
I havent seen Grace and Frankie, Superstore, or Brooklyn 99. But ive seen all the others.... Never heard of honerable mention "Children Ruin Everything" and I have "Working Moms" on my list to watch at some point.
How the fork is The Good Place #9? writing this with out seeing the 8 entries above it, yet. There is no way it doesn't deserve to be above all others here at #1. Edit: (a few points after watching the full video) 1. This is about shows I should be watching, but there is a scene here from the series finale of The Good Place. Why? How do I know none of the others featured here have spoilers? 2. The only show mentioned here that is on par with The Good Place, imo, is Schitt's Creek, but I think The Good Place still deserves the #1 spot. . 3. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia should be in the top 3, but since I recognize that this kind of comedy isn't for everyone it should be at least an honorable mention.
This list is of shows that started in the last ten years (then 2023, so 2013) so IASIP does not qualify and the scene from the good place isn’t a spoiler since no one would know what he meant by I’m ready unless they’ve seen it
Here’s my list of favorites since 2013 since I don’t watch any of these besides Brooklyn Nine Nine: Brooklyn Nine Nine of course Speechless Detroiters Broad city And I’m sad I can’t add The Mindy Project which premiered in 2012 but it’s easily in my top 5 all time
0:02 I didn't realise How I Met Your Father had eventually got off the ground. I may check it out at some point. Maybe. Also, the only excuse to not include Barry is that the list's only including more 'sitcommy' shows. Haven't watched the video yet & I feel ready to be dissappointed.
I think this list sucks. Given that I haven't watched much on this list, I'm open-minded enough to consider the possibility that it doesn't, but that seems unlikely. I haven't watched all of Home Economics, but it's nothing to write home about*. * episodes I've watched

_Brooklyn 99 is absolutely hilarious. The writing is fantastic, Jake, Holt, and Rosa are some of my favorite characters in any sitcom, and the cold opens are iconic.
I know, I love how this show pulls the comedy off as well.

It's a shame that "One Day at a Time got cancelled not once, but twice. It flawlessly balanced both comedy and drama.
I'm still upset about losing this show.
I'm gay and I think it went too heavy on the "woke sexualities" stuff in the netflix remake, although it was good too see, didn't need to be the whole thing
I never saw the last season 😢
Sadly they focus on s**tty shows and waste money like how i met your father, read somewhere they got paid A LOT for that shitshow
My fav is definitely Derry Girls, I'll love this forever
Unless they're dedicated to being US & Canada-centric, I can't see why they'd omit DG.
10- grace and Frankie

The Good Place is amazing!!!! I see why people find it to be a comfort show. It might end up being one of mine.
I love the tension and will they or won't they vibes between Greg and Janine. Pay the writers!
I love Abbott! I recommend it to everyone! I recommend it especially to fellow teachers or teachers in training
Would’ve loved to see “What we do in the shadows” on here but idk if it qualifies as a sitcom

Villains of valley view and pretty freekin scary also
