Blown away by the specimens 🤯🤩 I love the suspense of wondering what everything is and knowing it’s been sitting for over 20 years! I could watch videos like this all day.

The "metallic" minerals are sphalerite (Zinc sulfide) can´t be galena beacuse galena is cubic with perfect cubic clivaje in 3 directions at 90°, as for the "roset calcite" it is most likely barite (Barium sulphate) and those "spessartines" are most likely sphalerite as well.

I thought they might be barite too! Also sphalerites! Thank you! Was looking everywhere online and couldn't find a single image that was similar

@@FrankZhu Yeah it can be very tricky to find good images and even then it may be hard to identify with just an image any way glad i could help!!!

Nice collection, the metallic minerals are most likely galena or sphalerite which are common for this locality.

Could the white large druzy pieces be Apholite(sp?) I would check the hardness and see if it reacts to HCL to get a better idea of what you have
    But its an anazing find!❤

Could that big honker (the first one) at the end be anandalite? Rainbow anandalite, meant to say

I didn't realise anandalite is a type of quartz. Then the druzy ones are called coral anandalite.

anandalite is a new for me! never heard of it, but it def looks very close to what i've got... i'll do more research into it! Thank you!

@@FrankZhu "Anandalite" is one of the many trade names that Robert Simmons came up with. It is also called "aurora quartz" and "iris quartz." I'm prettty sure the only place it has been found is India.

I think you should be wearing gloves handling mystery crystals.
