I'm an ex Jehovah's Witness, I was born again, while IN the cult, in 1979. The Lord led me out of the cult in 1992. I've found that asking them the same question a born again believer asked me over 35 years ago works well, and using the mediator issue has brought MANY of them OUT of the cult. The Million Dollar Question is--What would you DO,,if you found out, the Watchtower does NOT AGREE with the bible? WHO would you believe? God or the watchtower?? 1 Timothy 2:5, the Watchtower does Not agree with it, they say Jesus is the mediator ONLY for the 144,000 anointed. Many JW sincerely believe they are serving God by being in the organization. When we show them the organization *Doesn't* agree with God, these sincere people LEAVE the organization. I've had scores of them leave over this issue. Love your sermons, I've learned SO MUCH from you! God bless you in your ministry! Agape!
That's a great and meaningful way of questioning. However, don't they have a different Bible? the NWT, I think?
I'm stuck... have a past relationship I will be cutting off real soon. I was never in the cult and although He tried hard to persuade me his way I never went and now He is posing a serious threat to my over all growth and walk with God and being used by God to the fullest capacity. He was disfellowshipped (and still is) I've shared countless scriptures with him and we've had countless discussions about watch tower doctrine and although sometimes he may not have a LEGIT rebuttal for my questions he still stands firm in the doctrine. Any tips before I cut him off.. I live him dearly and I'm absolutely positive that Almighty God had charged me to severe our relationship..

That happened to me... They came to our door, we spoke with them. It was not the first time, they came here a few times now. Once I asked if I could pray and they just got off. Now they came back again, but new people. I don`t know but Jehovah`s witnesses just keep appearing in my life (the other day it happened on the train). This guys shows me one of their magazines where it was written: "Will suffering ever end?" to which I replied "Yes!" and then he asked me if I was also a JW, I replied that I wasnt, that I was a baptist. But then I wanted to keep on talking with him and I said: "Jesus already defeated death" and he ignored me, didnt even reply and started showing the magazine to other people near us. Pray for wisdom for me and my husband because they are coming to our door regularly. I prayed to God for them to keep coming in order for us to share the gospel with them and in that day some came. We had no time on that day, but they told they would be back.
I was just doing a morning devotion in YouVersion, the Bible in one year, and the author mentioned when Jesus came walking on the water to the disciples in the boat, and after Peter walked to Jesus on the water and after they both got into the boat, the disciples worshipped Jesus. These were Monotheistic Jews who know that worshipping anyone or anything but God is blasphemy. So going along with what Piper says I certainly agree, but personally to me this pulls more weight even than arguing over how Jehovah's witnesses have changed the Bible in various places such as John 1. Other times the Pharisees picked up stones to stone Jesus and he asked why are you stoning me and they said because you bring a mere man make yourself out to be God. Clearly they wrongly believed he was a man but rightly believed he was claiming to be God, and Jesus was not denying it. Jesus never prevented people from worshipping himself or corrected people who said he was claiming to be God, except in the one place where he was stumping some people who were trying to stump him, when he used an O.T. verse about "I said you are gods". But his actions and words were loud and clear. He claimed be God.
(1 Corinthians 15:50) Do you see the parallels that this verse draws between the Kingdom of God with incorruption and flesh and blood with corruption? It is obvious that the flesh and blood bodies that we have are subject to decay and death. They are corruptible, and corruptible bodies cannot inherit Heaven. So, what must happen to these corruptible bodies in order that they may inherit Heaven (verse 51-53)? Once our bodies become incorruptible, they will be able to inherit the Kingdom of God which is incorruptible. When we read verse 50-53, we see the real meaning of verse 50. Now what happens after we receive our glorified bodies? (read 1 Thess 4:13-18) Jesus will transport our glorified physical bodies to Heaven, and one day He will bring us back to a new Earth. After God destroys everything on the surface with fire, the Earth will remain, but everything on the surface will be destroyed. We know that our transformed bodies will be glorified flesh and bones with no blood. (read Luke 24:39) When His Spirit re-entered back into his body, His Resurrection was a transformation. His flesh became glorified and His blood disappeared. He decided to keep His wounds as proof that His body had risen. (read John 20:27) One day His wounds will go away when we are all one. Let’s read John 20:14. The reason why Mary didn't recognize Him is because verse 1 tells us that it was early and still dark (verse 11-15). We see that she begins to weep, so her tears of grief and the darkness got in the way of her recognizing Jesus. No wonder she mistook Jesus as the gardener, plus she believes that Jesus is dead. She wasn’t expecting Jesus to be alive; it was her grief that didn’t allow her to recognize His voice at first (verse 16). She recognizes Him, and Luke 24:30, 31 verse 16 tells us why they didn’t recognize Him (1 Corinthians 15:13-17). Now, for 1 Peter 3:18, notice it doesn’t say "made alive as a spirit". It reads made alive "in the Spirit". “In the Spirit” is a shorter way of saying “in” or “by the power of the Spirit”. So, Jesus’ body was made alive by His human Spirit (Romans 8:11). God the Father (read Gal 1:1) resurrected His son’s body because He gave His son the commandment (John 10:17-18). Remember (Romans 8:11) what Jesus’ human Spirit said within His body (John 2:19-21). Do we believe in Jesus or make Him out to be a liar? (read 1 Timothy 2:5) Jesus the man is soon coming to transform our bodies to be like His (Philippians 3:21). 1 Thess 4:13-18, Galatians 3:26-28, Is 2, and Corinthians 5:16 tell us that we should no longer view Jesus in a body of flesh. NO. It's about not viewing any man with a carnal mind, or the way our NWT puts it- "fleshly viewpoint". (read Romans 8:6-8) We have once used Romans 8:23 to support our once held belief of the 144,000 to say that they are looking forward to being Spirit creatures in heaven. Truth is we have changed the word of God. Let’s compare the KJV of Romans 8:23 "the redemption of our body" with our NWT Romans 8:23 "the release from our bodies". There is a big difference in the release of our body and the releasefrom our body. The release of our body is the release from the pain of decay and death, and that release is the addition of immortality, and the kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures proves that the KJV translation of Romans 8:23 is accurate. Let's have a look at 1 Corinthians 15:44. Many believe that this verse is about two bodies: a physical body and a spirit body. We know that’s not the case. The word "it" is referring to the same body. Let’s read verse 44, we’ll come back to verse 44. In the meanwhile, let’s read Exodus 17-1-7 and Numbers 20:1-13. We see that literal water came out of this physical rock, but Paul calls this physical rock spiritual in 1 Corinthians 10:4. Now, let's go back to 1 Corinthians 15:44. Remember, the word “it” is referring to the same body. Let's read verse 42-44 now. The word “it" in verses 42-44 is referring to the same body, so Paul calls the resurrected physical body “Spiritual” because of the source. “Spiritual” to Paul does not mean immaterial and invisible. Let’s read Romans 8:11. We must receive this source, we must receive Jesus’ human Spirit within His body. Everybody will be given a copy of John 14:16-18 from the KJV. Jesus told the disciples in John 14:16-18 that they knew the comforter (aka the Holy Spirit) because He was actually with them in physical form: (verse 17) "even the spirit of Truth whom the world cannot receive because it seeth Him not neither knoweth Him but ye know Him for He dwelleth with you". Who was with them? It was Jesus Himself when He refers to the comforter as "he". He refers to Himself. Take a look at these verses and you will see how Jesus refers to Himself as “he” and “him” (John 17:1, 2, 5:19, 4:10). Can you see how Jesus is referring to Himself as “he” and "him"? This is exactly what He was doing in John 14:16-20. Speaking of the comforter, He was referring to Himself as the comforter, which is why He said "I will come to you." Jehovah allowed His son Jesus, when He returned to Heaven, to send a copy of His Spirit to be in the disciples. We too can receive His Spirit and be in Christ (Galatians 2:20). We must come to the realization that the Holy Spirit is a person who is one with Jesus because He comes out of Jesus. In our next study I'll show you how Jesus is YHWH in the flesh but isn’t YHWH Himself in the flesh, just like how the Holy Spirit is Jesus but isn’t Jesus Himself.

When attempting to explain to my two children how Jesus and the Holy Spirit are also God,
I told them that my name is Carolyn, but I am also Mom, daughter, sister, wife, aunt, friend...
Maybe that was not the best explanation of how Jesus can be and is also God, but it was enough to cause them to feel comfortable with the concept and move on to other biblical teachings they were learning 🌷
Yes we are all human Beings, just as God is an eternal almighty Being. But we are individually persons; I'm a different person from you as you are from others. God is 3 persons in the one Being.
But Jesus ist not the father or the holy ghost. They are separate beings. But are one in thought and Action. The better picture is that of marriage... We are two people but God said that we are one😮. And we should be one with god. So we are three parts again. But one in Charakter. ;) The threefold god doesn't stand up to the word. Shared in love ❤

Be careful when speaking to a servant of the Most High / you'll find yourself coming to an accurate knowledge of truth (John 17:3 and Rom 10:13)

Why ASK to pray with them. You do not need their permission. You goal should not be to see them run away, but rather to show them who the real Jesus is. Also, you don't have to close your eyes to pray, and since Jehovah is one of the names of God you could pray "Dear Jehovah I ask that you reveal us through your inerrant Word of God who the real Jesus is. Amen" This video does an excellent presentation in John 1 that Jesus is God. I love it. God loves it. Use it. It's also ok to use John 10, John 20:26-28, Heb 1 and more. But do not get sidetracked on lesser important believes of JFWs like 144,000 or Armageddon, or the grave vs Hell, or the cross vs stake, or their refusal to take blood transfusions, or their refusal to serve in our military or their refusal to vote. Stay with the #1 most important matter, Who is the Real Jesus.
It would be great if we had all of the JW’s addresses and those of us that are blood bought regenerated believers went and knocked on their doors.

Notice the lack of support for the Trinity in the Bible. All of these zero times show that there is a lot of's assumption that is not based on Scripture that is used, and said about the Trinity. Yes, that video does in the point to a lot of areas with the Scriptures are silent and make note assertions. Yet it also backs up the viewpoint, with all of the silence that only The Father is the true God, the God of Jesus.

Moises Isaac you only have to surrender to the Father. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you change your heart and your mind. Anything is possible with Him and His promises are true. Just yesterday I had a discussion with a Jehovah’s Witness and they refused this obvious truth it fell apart for them when we went to John 1:1 because in their “translation” they say “in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and was “a” god” I told the guy this throws away the entire Bible because they believe God who throughout scripture forbids devotion to any other “god” besides Himself and is in fact the first commandment- how can a God who claims to be monotheist hang around another god when he forbids this it’s saying God is ok with idolatry-It’s obvious that as said in Genesis 1:26 let US create because God is 1 God in 3 persons of the Godhead- he couldn’t take that simple logic and it’s funny because it contradicts their constant effort to not commit idolatry by not celebrating birthdays or anything else - their whole religion is idol worship of man made gods - needless to say it didn’t go well he resolved we pray to the same god but if not he doesn’t really care as long as he’s lived a good life (even if the Bible says whatever “good” we do on our own to please God is filthy rags) I guess that part of scripture is translated otherwise too 😅 let’s actually pray for these poor people I was also lost just a year ago

Jesus said to them “If God were your father you would love me for I came from God and I am here. I have not come of my own initiative, but that one (God) sent me.
This man whoever he is speaks angrily and entices conflict anyone who knows God knows that God is love and does not condone those plotting wickedness. The Bible warns of many false prophets in the last days. Gods Word reveals them God cannot speak a lie.

The best way to explain about Jesus is to revealed how big of an impact he was in the old testament. Think about it, everyone is made aware of Jesus existence because of the new testament, right.
But many people are not aware of his involvement within several, if not, all of the books from the old testament. You'll be surprise if you took your time of reading or listening to an audiobook of the Bible.
I beleive God lives in all of us. I beleive God is the universe, the duality in life, love, and all energy that surrounds us. I was raised a christian baptist. I was homeschooled growing up & attended a homeschool group. The purpose was for us children to have friends so we wouldnt grow up awkward with no real world interaction with others. I had JW friends, mormon friends, catholic friends, Jewish friends, some wiccan friends and athiest friends. I devoted my entire life to the "God" I was taught to worship. I prayed several times a day and followed the bible to a tee. I got baptised at 6 and was the youngest member in my church to request being baptised. I remember as a young child asking my sunday school teacher "all of us in this church will go to heaven when we die?" My sunday school teacher said "as long as you follow the word of christ, accept jesus christ as your savior and beleive in the word of God then yes. You will go to heaven." I then asked him "I have friends who beleive in a different God, but they are nice, they pray and they have faith in their God. Are they going to go to hell?" I remember my teacher saying "If you do not have totaly absolute faith that jesus christ is your savior and that the God you pray to is your God yes you will go to hell. You should teach them about our church and the lessons of christ." I was horrified. I was scared now because I wasnt sure anymore of the God I prayed to was the "right God". I was scared that as long as I had questions about it I would go to hell regardless if I stayed in church or not. I was also scared that my friends may or may not go to hell depending on their faith and which religion they chose to follow. I struggled with this for a long time I finally hit a point about 10 years later where I had decided I will follow no "secular" religion. I do not beleive that God wants us to "choose a team" if you will. If you choose the right one great job your going to heaven. If not well regardless how much of a good person you are in life you will still go to hell. I beleive God wants us to acknowledge "him", wants us to live for each other and be kind to each other, to pray, to work on ourselves and help others understand, to do what is right and to beleive in God and God alone. Not a religion but God himself. I just wanted to share my story and opinion, I hope that nobody is offended and hopefully can read my point of view with an open mind.

I had a very different background growing up then you did based on what you presented, but at this current point in my life I have came into very similar beliefs you have stated. As you stated I also believe that the God/Universe is all around us and part of us. The energy is everywhere and we are all a part of it to some degree.
As for the concept of hell, I can't help but see it as a sort of "ploy" by groups. If you fail to follow OUR way you will suffer the ULTIMATE CONSEQUENCE. What better way to scare someone into believing/joining? Thats exactly how it works too. When you have that it appears to be more of a fear tactic, rather than a truthful point.
If God is really a just/fair/understanding entity, then how could he choose a small section of humanity to prosper and have the others perish? There are tons of different belief systems and religions all around the earth, not just presently but throughout mankind.
Im not claiming to know exactly what the afterlife will be like, but I am saying no one can no for sure. But it has to be more than, "here is the bad place" and "here is the good place"

One reason why Jehovah’s Witnesses would not allow themselves to be led in prayer with someone who wasn’t one of Jehovah’s Witnesses is that such prayers, despite claims to the contrary, are not directed to the true God of the Bible. It is considered and act of false worship which the One that hears prayers would not listen to (Psalm 65:2). It isn’t because they’re afraid of meeting Jesus.

A far better verse to start with is Isaiah 9:6 "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, MIGHTY GOD, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Many scholars argue that there should be a comma between the words Wonderful and Counselor which would make Gen 32:30 have a lot more impact. Jacob was wrestingly with a visitor, and Jacob demands the visitor tell him His name and the visitor says, "Why asketh you after my name seeing it is wonderful?" And Jacob responds in Gen 32:30 and says I have seen God face to face and yet have been spared. In Josh 5:15 Joshua finds an interuder in his camp and draws his sword and says are you for us or for our enemies? And the intruder says take off your shoes, youre standing on holy ground. Throughout the Bible whenever people meet angels they either are terrified by them, don't see them at all, or start to worship them and the angels always say dont do that. This "angel" demands it. Guess who He is. When Jesus is arguing with the pharisees, He says Abraham saw My day and rejoiced in it. The pharisees come back and say you are not yet 50 years old and yet you claim to have seen our father Abraham? And Jesus says before Abraham was, "I am", the same words used by God in the burning bush to describe Himself and the pharisees went nuts because of it. Then you have Thomas who after putting his hand in Jesus' side says my Lord and my God.
BTW: 1 John 2:22 seems to say that denying Christ's nature is a damnable hersey, so be very careful in dealing with JWs.

How can what God told Moses in Genesis 3:14,15 which was written in Hebrew have any connection with what Jesus told the Jews written in Greek (John 8:57,58)? Try that word comparison trick in other languages. It won't work.
Isaiah 9:6 is a PROPHECY. 'Shall or will be called' is futuristic in tense.
That would mean that UNTIL Jesus fulfilled those titles HE WAS NOT any of them.

And allowing my self to question the bibel, actually removed the hole indoktrination that came from JW. I miss jesus in my life, im currently getting throt under the foot of men. Some days there is spikes of light in my awareness, But i need help of the ignorance. I met a girl 2 years ago, and i fighted so much for the love for here, the indoktrination destroyed it for, but i fighted so hard, i dunno if i got saved fighting for that love. The other day, i got so sad course ive heard she found a new boyfreind. But i remember the day the lord came apon me, it was like the truth want me to push people forward, putting the people infront of me before my self, but i dunno if its from the lord, or if it is from the indoktrination. In my reading Paul usually speaks of the Father as "God the Father" and of Jesus as "his Son Jesus Christ our Lord".
However Lord is a designation strictly applicable to God alone.
It seems to me that thruout his Epistles Paul gives the Lord Jesus attributes which belong solely to God.
As Christians we are constrained to talk about God the way he has taught us to thru Scripture.
Therefore, if Scripture gives titles and attributes which belong solely to God to Jesus as well..what are we to do but to confess it as Thomas did in that climatic moment of Johns Gospel where he could no longer doubt but confess Jesus as "my Lord and my God"?

I think we would both agree that God teaches us how to talk about him thru Revelation.

Now, here comes the New Testament which testifies that Christ shares all the attributes of God. Paul says explicitly in Philippians that Christ

I won't go thru all the relevant passages presently but suffice to add that Jesus speaking of himself as the "I am" who revealed himself to Moses in John's Gospel is a claim that would get you, me and anyone else stoned for blaspheming the name of God.
What then do we do with passages which speak of Christ as inferior to the Father?
How do we reconcile this?
Simply.. Christ shares the nature of God the Father BUT IS POSITIONALLY SUBORDINATE to the Father.
It's really quite as simple as that.
For example, you and your father share the SAME nature as human beings. However functionally, or positionally you are inferior to your father.
Also.. Jesus, according to Scripture, is fully man and fully God.
Paul makes clear that Christ pre-existed in the form of God..yet emptied himself, and took on the form of a servant.
Once we understand that Christ has two nature's, God and man, passages such as the one you are asking about become clear.
The incarnation of Christ has got to be the most wonderful, and deepest mystery of our faith.. God the Son taking on the form of a servant

Jesus is GOD-MAN. He was man, yet He never ceased being Jehovah God. May I suggest you read First John Chapter 1: verses 1-4. This is the Introduction, "The Incarnate Word". Notice, please, it tells us, "What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life...and the life was manifested and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifest to us--What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, AND with His Son Jesus Christ. These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete." (emphasis mine) We are to understand that we serve Jehovah God the Father, and God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are ONE. We serve a TRIUNE GOD. We do not have to figure this out, because we can not. We accept this by FAITH. It is right out of the Bible. May the Lord open your eyes to the Truth of His Word. Jesus said, "My Father and I are One." Jesus sent the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, because He was about to ascent to Father God. Those 3=ONE. The new world translation, comes out of the deep dark vaults of the Vatican, not from the same lineage as the King James, The New World translation was translated by Westcot in Hort, founders of the ghostly guilt at Yale University. They’ve even retired the revelation book which was studied for years by the Jehovah’s Witnesses, it has now been put on the shelf to cover dust because it’s wrong and what was in it did not come true.
One of the funniest ones is when “Judge” Rutherford said that Abraham Isaac and Jacob were going to be resurrected and they would need a massive mansion with a swimming pool! And they actually built one for them, it was called Beth Sirim, judge Rutherford lived there until his death and then they sold the building off 😂

And then, sometimes quote the apostles to say their points sometimes. Zakir Naik quoted Peter in Acts once to make a point HE wanted to make.
And Jesus never said verbally "I am God'" or "Worship me" but he did, in other phrasing say both those things.

I'm not a Jehovah's Witness but I have read the bible. I have a question. Christians are suppose to imitate Jesus, right? My question is...Who did Jesus worship? From what I've read, Jesus, as a Jew, worshiped Jehovah. If Jesus is God in the flesh, then why does Jesus pray to God his father?
Here's one passage that I believe gives some understanding into why he would pray to the father.
(John 12: 28-30) "Father, glorify your name!”
Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.” The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him. Jesus said, “This voice was for your benefit, not mine."
That last part is the key to understanding things a bit better. Alot of the things Jesus did wasn't solely for his benefit it was also for the benefit of the people watching him and for us modern day readers that read his story.
He wasn't only here as a savior, he was also here to show us what living a godly life looks like and how our relationship to the Father should be.
Today people ask "WWJD?" aka "What Would Jesus Do?".
Imagine if Jesus didn't pray. Would his disciples think it was important to pray? What about us today? Wouldn't we say, well Jesus never prayed so it must not be important.
Not only do we know that Jesus prayed but we can read the words he said to the Father and it gives us an understanding of not only what a prayer life looks like but also how we should speak when we convene with the Father.
This is just my opinion but I hope it gives you understanding into why Jesus even bothered to pray.

I would say, Jesus and God the Father and the Holy Spirit are different persons. They are not each other but They are all God. Same essence, different persons. Its like me being a human, with bones and all the human parts, but does that make me who I am? No! My name is Timothy, and I am Timothy, but as well I am human. He is speaking from the gospel of John chapter 1, specifically the first 3 verses.
His point however is not quite on the mark. He is emphasizing "the made category" as "in all things are made through him". If all things are made through Jesus he cannot be in the "made category".
This is where I think he misses what is actually being said and completely ignores the vital word "through".
Jesus is not in the category of those things made through him but it does not discount him as being made in the "only begotten category", which literally means "unique or one of a kind.
This is why he can say "I live because of the Father." John 6:57

I've been a Cult Exit Counselor for 35 years. My target group are the Jehovah's Witnesses. The issue with Jehovah's Witnesses isn't so much false doctrine. It's the authority they submit themselves to. One cannot separate Jehovah God from the Watchtower organization itself. They are one in the same seeing that the organization speaks on behalf of Jehovah God. As long as the Witnesses hold on to that worldview, attempting to show them the "error of thier ways," is pointless. Why? Simply because the only voice or truth that matters to Witnesses is what Jehovah says through the Watchtower. All other world views are viewed as lies from "Satan's organization." The documented fact is that the Watchtower does NOT claim to be inspired by God. Because it is not inspired by Jehovah God, this indicates that all Watchtower teaching is without authority, and is being made up by uninspired men - The Governing Body. (see the book, "To Every Locked Mind There Is A Key."

If you look at the known history of Angels (meaning messengers of God) it is clear that they not only act as God's messengers, but they also act of their OWN accord, outside of what God wants them to do. We are not to follow angels, because we do not know if their agenda is true of false.

Talked to a guy who was a Jehovah's Witness (at the pool yesterday) and what was scary was that they don't believe Christ was God, which according to 1 John 2:22 seems to be a damnable hersey, so be very careful in dealing with JWs. They say Jesus never claimed to be God. Here is a good rebuttable to them:

Many scholars argue that there should be a comma between the words Wonderful and Counselor which would make Gen 32:30 have a lot more impact. Jacob was wrestingly with a visitor, and Jacob demands the visitor tell him His name and the visitor says, "Why asketh you after my name seeing it is wonderful?" And Jacob responds in Gen 32:30 and says I have seen God face to face and yet have been spared. In Josh 5:15 Joshua finds an interuder in his camp and draws his sword and says are you for us or for our enemies? And the intruder says take off your shoes, youre standing on holy ground. Throughout the Bible whenever people meet angels they either are terrified by them, don't see them at all, or start to worship them and the angels always say dont do that. This "angel" demands it. Guess who He is. When Jesus is arguing with the pharisees, He says Abraham saw My day and rejoiced in it. The pharisees come back and say you are not yet 50 years old and yet you claim to have seen our father Abraham? And Jesus says before Abraham was, "I am", the same words used by God in the burning bush to describe Himself and the pharisees went nuts because of it. Then you have Thomas who after putting his hand in Jesus' side says my Lord and my God.

QuickSqueeze for almost all of Jehovah’s witnesses, this was just the Christianity and the Bible they were introduced to. Most of them had no real knowledge of Christianity to compare it to, to begin with. At the heart of the matter they’re still following the bible as best as they can and are trying their best to follow God’s commandments and help their fellow neighbour be saved. There’s a lot that the founders of the JW misinterpreted, some misinterpretations evidently were intentional (such as changing “the Word was God” to “the Word was a god). But for the majority of JW’s they are good Christians doing what they believe to be right. A lot of them have a real zeal and good sacrificial heart eager to follow what they believe is God’s will. It’s just a damn shame that they, along with all the protestants, split from the original Church Christ founded, coupled with the tradition held and practiced by the early church disciples that had the Holy Spirit guiding them to both write the scriptures and interpret them the correct way.
I have a few JW friends and they have great hearts for God. I just pray that they will be led to find His true Catholic church

*Who told any of us to worship the Holy Spirit?* More specifically:
1. Can you produce one SINGLE instance in the Bible in which an Israelite, a first century Christian or apostle of of the Jesus is found praising, glofying or honouring the Holy Spirit? Where do we find apostles for example worshipping the Holy Spirit? Where does that leave Trinitarians when one reads 1 John 4:1&6? Are you not preaching a different Spirit , *one who requires praise, honor and worship (2 Corinthians 11:4; Galatians 1:8)?*
2. Where in the NT, did the Holy Spirit himself request honor, glory, praise for himself (as Jesus does for example at John 5:22-23) let alone worship for himself to suggest that we can worship him as you do at the end of your video?
3. For Jesus, I was rather convinced by John 1:3 & Colossians 1:16-17 that he being EXPLICITLY said you be my CREATOR, diserves my worship indeed. Now I challenge any of you worshippers of *[ the different ] "Spirit"* here, to give us just 1 NT verse which also EXPLICITLY states that the Holy Spirit created something, let alone creating all things to suggest that God wanted us to worship his Holy Spirit separately from hom! Just give us one EXPLICIT scripture in the NT and I will accept that we can worship the Holy Spirit! Please.

5. Most of you also claim that Jesus is uncreated , but can I ask:
A. Why did he consistently call his Father, also "his God" (John 20:17) not only when he was here on earth but also after his resurrection and return to heaven*(Revelation 3:12; 3:2; 1:6)? Was he calling his Father, also *"his God" when in fact his Father did not create him? Would you call your Father, your God? If you did, would you not be an idolator? Why is Jesus not an idolator for repeatedly refering to someone who NEVER created him as "my God" ? Why just not call him "his Father" and leave it at that?
B. I know that Trinitarians say that the term "firstborn" applied to Jesus in Colossians 1:15 does not mean that Jesus was the first to be created but that he is preeminent of or over all creation and I agree with the above explaination! But what about the sense of INCLUSION and BELONGING conveyed by both the term "firstborn" and "preeminent"? The "firstborn" of Middleton family must NECESSARILY be part of Middleton's family (even if not the FIRST in order of birth). America's preeminent economist must NECESSARILY be an economist himself or herself ....in fact, at Colossians 1:18; Jesus is called the "firstborn from the dead" . Clearly Jesus was not the first to LITERALLY come back FROM THE DEAD , was he? But could this term have ever been used and applied to Jesus, if he had NEVER died and came back FROM THE DEAD? I.e. not included among those who had once died and came back FROM THE DEAD? of course not!
So at Colossians 1:15 Jesus is definitely being included in the group "all creation" and was no doubt created perhaps in different TIME DIMENSION or TIMELINE, prior to ours (Proverbs 8:22-31 read with 1 Corinthians 1:24).
C. At Revelation 1:1; Jesus is given a revelation by God the Father. God has always given revelations to his creatures (prophets, servants, etc.. Isaiah 61:1-3; Isaiah 42:1-7; Luke 4:17-21)! Could you explain to us why Jesus could not give or originate this revelation by himself since he was already in heaven and glorified between the year 81 and 96 CE?
D. Could you please read Matthew 24:36 and help us understand what is going on at Revelation 14:14-16? ONE God who is sending angels within himself?
Is one person of the Trinity sending an angel to another person of the Trinity, instructing him to start reaping the earth?

I could go on all day of every heresy of The Watchtower and falsity of JW modified faith just like Mormonism. But the one major heresy of JW that kicks me is you can also obtain everlasting life through the Jehovas Witness Anointed leaders. The Anointed leaders, through their doctrine regarding the mediator and new covenant, claim that everlasting life also comes through them. They insert themselves between Jesus and their followers as the way to salvation.
The original New Testament clearly states!!!

That is a weird thought I have never heard.

Problem is, Jehovah appears many times in the OT to people in bodily form (Gen 18, Jdgs 13, etc), so if John 1:18 means no one has ever seen the Deity personified, that would be a contradiction of OT Scripture. So we understand John means no one has ever seen God the Father - but the Son, the very Jehovah who appeared in human form throughout the OT, has explained Him
