Single and double wall tents both create the same amount of condensation. The only difference is that the second inner wall keeps you and you kit away from the outer damp wall.
We are yet to test it side by side but this is what it seemed to us when we tried it. Overall we don't feel very cozy and safe for some reason in a single wall, this is also a big deal for us🙂
From a fabric merchant's perspective, Decathlon fabrics are much cheaper than 3FULgear, so they are heavier and their lifespan is definitely not as long as 3FULgear. Good fabrics have good stretch and elongation properties, and you will feel a little elastic when you stretch them. , it looks a little microscopically deformed, but it will automatically return to its original shape after a few days.
The fabric definetely differs quite a lot but we didn't have a knowledge base on this matter to rely on. Lanshan fabric is strechy and Forclaz has more structed texture and rustles more.
As the global outdoor fabric production base in Jiangsu Province, we studied 3F fabrics for a period of time, customized them to enhance waterproofing and stretchability, and controlled costs, so we produced tents that the public liked. Other brands of tents are entrusted to other tent manufacturing factories in China. One factory produces at least 10 brands of tents at the same time and exports them to the world. If the brand does not increase the cost budget of the tents, the fabrics used will be ordinary fabrics and details. The processing is also not refined enough.
I don't agree with that. Decathlon uses silpoly, that doesn't soak up water (weight) and sag compared to the 20D silnylon that Lanshan use. Many tents manufacturers are switching to silpoly because of that. One of the best tent in the world for backpacking uses silpoly.

Thanks for such an in-depth review. Very helpful as I'm looking for a new hiking tent.👍🏽

Nice video! But would have been better to compare Lanshan 2 non-pro version, as it is double layer tent..
Thanks! Yes, it would be even more comparable, but we just don't have it at hand.

Thanks for the valuable info! Do you actually manufacture the 3F UL Gear tents?@@camperlists7090

I wanna ask something about the lanshan price. Do you need to pay customs taxes from aliexpress? or are they included in the 190€.
It should be included in the price, it was in our case, but you can check it when you add it to the basket at the checkout to be completely sure.
Our website will pay taxes for our customers
Lanshan Pro has good ventilation, so the condensate is not so abundant there
Thanks for the feedback! In what kind of environments have you used it? Wet or dry?
@@WalkingNatureWorld I have a Lanshan 1Pro. I used it near the river in the summer when there was fog, but I didn't test it in the rain
Keep us updated if you will test it further in different conditions
I have lanshan 2 pro. I use it solo. Plenty of condensation when high humidity, rain.
Thanks for sharing, this is what we experienced too on such days. Maybe it is an issue of all one wall tents but can't state it. @@alexfrance3141
