@Ciudad Co. LOL, idiot. The original song is"Saigo No Iiwake" by Hideaki Tokunaga. First released in 1989 in the album _Realize._ It means "Last Excuse" NOT "You're Still The One". The Tagalog version is a cover released by Ted Ito using the same tune with very different lyrics. It was released as a single in the early 1990s by Ivory Records. Ted Ito is NOT Filipino. LOL. He's Japanese and does not speak Tagalog at all. There is even ANOTHER Tagalog cover of the song in the 1990s by Maso Diez called"Kailanman" (google it). Like "Ikaw Pa Rin", it uses the same melody but with different lyrics than the original Japanese. There are A LOT of songs like this in the 1990s. All imported from Japan, given Tagalog or English lyrics and then sold in the Philippines.

Its so painful pretending to be asleep now
The drops that fall are tears
And you’ll wait for the dawn and then go
Because its you whis afraid of the dark
The thing thats most precious to me has become the farthest away
I knew you so well, and now its all a memory
I think everyone likes you
I’ll miss you, you dont need to worry about that
What makes it so painfull
Is the fact that you think youre doing me a favour by saying good bye
Youre the closest to me, and yet the hardest to understand
I love you so much, and now its all an excuse
The thing thats most precious to me has become the furthest away
I knew you so well, and now its all memory
Its all memory
Youre the closest to me, yet the hardest to understand
I love you so much, and now its all an excuse
The thing thats most precious to me has become the furthest away
Youre the closest to me, and yet the hardest to understand
The thing thats most precious to me has become the furthest away...

This is what a singer should be...d kelangan ng birit o kulot kelangan maramdaman ang song which is the purest essence ng music it needs to connect to the listener
