To be honest, don't wait for any nvidia card nor have any hopes for them to launch somehting exciting again, just keep an eye on them in case they make something actually decent but you should really consider Radeon cards. I recetly built a PC for one of my friends and i paired a ryzen 7 5700x with an RX 7800 XT ( Which is superior than RTX 3080, RTX 4070 and just barely inferior to the RTX 4070 ti, rx 7800 xt wins in some games and the RTX 4070 ti wins in other games and dont forget that RTX 4070 ti has 12GB VRAM and thr RX 7800 XT has 16GB VRAM) and that PC can run any game at 1440p for more than 90 fps (except those who are poorly optimized and only runs them at 60 to 70 fps) and guess what, rx 7800 xt is around 499€ and the rtx 4070 ti is around 900€, that really tell you about what either company is looking for. In 1080p the RX7800 XT can run any game at more than 120fps.
3060 12 VRAM OC at 2100/8500 Mhz and 65ºC is the real health . A 3060 below 1900/8500 MhZ is just not used properly . 7500 Mhz in mem clock for a 12 VRAM GPU with 1080/1440p (not using even the 60% of the VRAM) is a WASTE of potential , you can OC it to 8500 Mhz just for start it and go easily to 9000 Mhz if you want a real OC . - PD : Upgrade . For 3060 OC ... 75 FPS 1080 ultra , 60 FPS 1440p ultra in AC Valhalla . Benchmarked recently in my channel (2130/8500 Mhz) . Is like 10 fps more than the non OC settings in both resolutions , and it never gives any problem at all after 150 hours played (max temp 65ºC)
+130 MHz at core and +1300MHz at memory with unlocked voltage for my Gigabyte 3060 12G OC. It makes weird artifacts in some games, noticeable in WD2 and Nier Automata mostly.

hey, thx for your work at first place i would love to see some mentioning from you, that in some cases the ryzen cpu is to slow to fully use the gpu so in that specific case, the scores would be different with a better cpu - the thing about that is, there are deffinetly people out there, who wouldnt see that out of the video how it is right now how do you find that? thumbs ub!
So seeing CPU utilization notably below 100% I'm presuming we're bottlenecked by the 3600 here? Not complaining, mind you, this is my CPU so it's good to see these cards with this CPU paired up to see what actual performance is, but it's looking like there's possibly some performance left on the table that could be gained by upgrading to a 5600 or 12100f or something like that. And it's not even across the board, only two games had noticeable utilization dips.
Also, I dont think the gpu is being bottlenecked by the cpu seeing as how the gpu utlization is close to 100% and the cpu being 30 - 60%, which is understandable for a 3600.
a bottleneck would show 100% cpu util with drops in clocks on GPU, meaning the CPU has a hard time keeping up with the data being sent from the GPU. GPU @ 100% while CPU being lower usage just means you have overhead on your CPU (Or said in another way, the GPU is the bottleneck, that's why it is maxed out)

the 3060 would have been the real deal for 350 and below lol same performance as a rtx 2070. for 400+ the performance is meh i would rather go for the 6600xt/6650xt even tho they cheaped out with only 8x pcie 4 lanes this gen and the previous gen cards were pretty disappointing tbh.
I've seen 3060s selling at MSRP, they're just hard to find. Also, AMD simply doesn't run as well in most modern AAA games for whatever reason which is why the RTX 3060 runs at a comparable framerate even though the 6600XT should be getting more on paper. Even UserBenchmark says that the 6600XT should be getting hugely more frames while it gets about the same for games like Cyberpunk 2077 or GOW. Check your GPU Usage. If your GPU Usage is 100% with the Ryzen 5 2600 then a better CPU won't help. Also 82C is fucking hot, set your fan speed higher.

Generally speaking, when a new line of GPUs come out, the 3rd number (in Nvidias case) is the performance level. Usually, the one higher in a previous generation is the equivalent to one in the new gen. For example, a GTX 1080 has a comparable performance to an RTX 2070 and an RTX 2070 has comparable performance to an RTX 3060 (and so on). However even if the FPS is very similar on paper, newer GPUs will almost always run better due to drivers and optimization with newer games. That's why in practice, even the 2070 super gets similar frames with the 3060 even if it says it should be getting 25% more according to UserBenchmark.

And i have the 3060 and for Valhalla i just benchmarked in my channel 75 fps for 1080p ultra and 60 fps for 1440p ultra , 10 fps more than here (this video have non OC clock settings) . Its just all about put 8500 Mhz in Mem Clock since is a 12VRAM GPU and is not using even the 60% of it in 1440p you MUST start with 8500 Mhz not with 7500 . All is up to the specs and OCs you have/do . I dont recommend do that kind of OCs in mem in a 2070S or any GPU with 8 VRAM tho .
Definitely not they run at 2150mhz easy with memory clock to 9000mhz would smoke this 2070s for the price, and you can't buy a new 2070s so for the price the 3060 os actually a better card then the 2070s..

I kept 2070. Happy I skipped the 3000s and the 4000s with the burning plugs. I'm keeping a eye out for the 5000s series. Might finally upgrade.

@Darin Wahbi the default Memory is 7500. i Oced my 3060 by 200+ Core and 1000+ Memory it runs pretty well i gained Minimum 10% Performance
