Transitions are now live in Kapwing!
With transitions like cross dissolve and cross blur, you'll be able to move smoothly from one clip to the next when editing videos in Kapwing. In this video, we go over where to find the transitions feature in the editor so you can add effects to the start and end of your video clips.

there is diffrence between 2020 kapwing or 2023 kapwing. kapwing is upgrading👍
It would be great to have transitions for images. It makes it more professional, the use of animate for transitions doesn't seem to be seamless. I do a lot of image videos and would love some transitions to use for these as well,.

This is great. I can't wait to incorporate these techniques into my next video. My only complaint so far about Kapwing is that it often freezes up whenever I'm trying to edit. Then it takes 5 to 10 times longer to edit a video than it normally would. I'm not sure if it has to do with the Kawpwing website or with my internet connection, but thought I would mention it because it's really no fun when the editing pages keep freezing up. Then I get a notice saying that a page has stopped responding. I have to exit the page and sometimes re-do parts of what I'd been working on.

I'm new here in this channel, question?... my video has audio copywriter while doing editing I upload audio from youtube without the copywrite after I'm done I noticed the other audio and new audio are mixed together (overlapped) and that sounds chaotic I've tried to edit again, and again but can't find and make it right? please help. I have a problem with Transition. When I choose for example hearth animation, it do not transit form one segment to another like you are showing here (video over video) but it transit like this: Video - light blue - video. I do not know why and i can't find a way to change it or delete it. Please help me, i am out of ideas.

How do you add more than 1 video?
You can upload multiple videos within the same scene by clicking "Upload", choosing your files, and adjusting the timing of them in the Timeline, or you can multiple videos in separate scenes through the "Scenes" tab and clicking upload there

hello i am a 13 year old young editor and i think this is a good tutorial on transitions so in my opinion key framing should be added in the software if it is make a tool bar next to the canvis thank for the help

u placed my videos in sequential order and touching but when i highlight a clip, i do not see the add transition
Sorry for the confusion! We recently changed how this works - after you click your clip, go to the "Animate" tab on the right side and you can choose a transition there, then choose whether you want to apply it to the intro, outro, or both!

Hello.. I think the premium account price is not reasonable for student.. Because we as student didnt edit video everytime.. but need the best quality with subtitle and all the extra feature which make it more interesting!
