Hey I run small yt to you know if theres a tool on kapwing so an ai reads subtitles for you? If so plz let me know
I'm using the magic subtitles now and they are excellent but there is one flaw that needs to be fixed. I had to edit some of the text and it just shows it for a second before disappearing. There doesn't seem to be a way for me to keep it showing for longer. You need to be able to manually change the time that the subtitle is shown.

While the idea behind the Magic Subtitler is genius, this tool seems a little too half-baked for me. For instance, there is no way for the screen to be clear of subtitles when nothing is being said. That's a basic necessity when subtitling, since very few videos will require wall-to-wall subtitles throughout. Hope you guys can fix this, because the overall idea is pretty neat.
We totally hear you, thanks for the feedback!! We updated Magic Subtitles recently and made lots of improvements, so it should be able to show a blank canvas when nothing is being said. @@Kapwing When you export the videos does it tell you or give you an option of where to save it on your computer? Also, Once you save it on your computer on Ex: Desktop, when I play the video , it will show automatically with the subtitles, or I would need to attach the subtitles to the video in order to see them?

I have a video in Kapwing right this minute and I cannot find any way to EDIT the auto-generated subtitles which are loaded with errors. No white screen with text pops up. Ideally, the pink blips indicating subtitled segments should be able to pop up so you can edit them as the audio speaks.
my kapwing page doesnt look so upgraded.... why is that?
At 0:08 of this video you show subtitles where the color of the words change as you pronounce them ; it is a great effect and help follow what it is said in the video without giving the impression that we are reading. I see many creators use this kind of effect on UA-cam Shorts/etc.
@kapwing is this an effect we can reproduce using magic subtitles? I can't see how it would be possible inside the editor

When I click on EDIT SUBTITLES (the magic auto-generated ones), no white window pops up, it's just BLACK, with a vertical string of single characters one on top of the other down the right-hand margin of the BLACK window, and those characters do not represent the actual auto subtitles.
Hey Kapwing, I noticed that when I speed up my audio, the subtitle does not sync up. Is there a way to ensure the words being said match the subtitle?

Used this new version for the first time today. Using the Magic feature, I can't download the subtitles into an .srt or .vtt file. It just comes up blank. How to make this happen? Or do I have to revert to Classic to make it work? I had a video I needed to change one slide graphic ans wanted to use the same subtitles. NO such luck. Lottttttts of time spent recreating them.

Can we add just one still image as the background, but have the subtitles still follow our voice?
I had to correct some words but when I click Export as mp4 it didnt dowload the video with corrections. I have to save it with errors. What should i do to fix it ? I clicked on fix overlapping subtitles Help!

i hate have to login to get audio and video i want now new kapwing sucks now i have to open in new tab to bypass the login
u never used to have to log in
Stop requiring people to log into the Google Play account just to Auto generate subtitles.
