I've loved Eluveitie for years and real glad to say that her solo stuff is perfect. Anna Murphy can out sing 99% of anyone you hear on the radio. She writes her own music and plays most of the instruments. She should be the one on TV with millions buying her albums.
Her album I actually find myself repeatedly listening to. Usually when other leave a band and do music so different from the band they came from I tend to forget them. But this is just so good.
I absolutely ADORE this song and the attacking way in which she sings this, She deserves a much wider fan base (outside Metal too) and I hope she gets it. A hell of a sizzler of a song. I haven't done this in a while but I'm putting it on repeat play.
One other thing - I love the lazy drums in first half of this and then the change to jungle drums at 2:19 and the build up from then on. Such a tasty and EXCITING arrangement. Gets the pulse racing. Bloody huge talent is this Anna (on her own)
Anna is so compelling about true facts. There´re bunch of bastards out there telling you about the sacrifices you have to make to follow your dream touring while being at mom´s closet. I respect you guys.

No matter if fan or hater, what you said is objectively wrong. This is not Metal music at all. It is a genre called "Pop music", maybe you have heard about it before. It is somewhat popular around the world someone told me. The song would need quite a few elements characteristic of Metal music to be classed as such, and I for one cannot even find a single such element. Secondly, if Kickstarter is only for people who "need the dosh" then how come there have been several famous people like Neil Young, Shaquille O'Neil or Bjork using Kickstarter? Do you honestly think any of them need money? Especially Neil Young, a multimillionaire (or even billionaire?) who created a company just to tune his car?!
