As part of her Kickstarter campaign for her solo album, Anna Murphy covered songs chosen by backers. This was my request, and Anna has given me this song to share as I see fit.

Would love to hear her versions of Sleeping Stars and Land Of Snow And Sorrow
I expected it to be beautiful, but this is even better whay I expected. I cry listening to the original version, I cried listening to this. If Wintersun will EVER perform this song live with Anna, and I get the chance to see it, I think I'll die. Damned, that's beautiful.

Wow this is amazing. Thanks for posting this. You have no idea what it means to me and a few friends. We lost our good friend Tim in april and two of his favourite artists were Anna(he was a fellow crowdfunder) and Wintersun. This song has come to mean a lot to us since his passing

Anna is doing ten covers at the request of Kickstarter backers. I have no way of knowing what songs were chosen or how many are finished. She intends to give the songs directly to the backers, to share as they see fit. They may not even decide to share, as I have.
As for Wintersun songs, I think this will be the only one, unless someone else picked one as well. This may very well be the first one she finished, as I've seen no mention of others, having been following her on Facebook for a while.

I'm a huge fan of all Anna's musical projects and I must say, she did even a better job than Wintersun (the song has more emotion and is so much warmer) and without you, we wouldn't have been able to listen to this song. So many, many, many thanks from the bottom of my heart!

Gert Maris As a huge Wintersun fan, I have to respectfully disagree. This is a good cover, but I just don't think it's as good as the original.
I don't think she's made other covers yet, since she's been quite busy recording songs with her other side projects like Lethe, and touring with Eluveitie.
Well, the Wintersun version is very good, but the power metal aspect of their music doesn't suit the theme of the song that well, to me at least. Luckily, opinions may differ, and luckily, we don't all like the same things, otherwise, a lot of bands would have difficulties :D
