Too bad he didn't ask a single breaking bad question

@@youri7229 that's better call Saul
Sean is probably the best interviewer of celebrity’s I’ve ever witnessed. He is amazing , well thought out and thoughtful questions . And he and his team do their research perfectly. Everyone that’s been on the show has always enjoyed him and complimenting his questions.
Narduar as well
Tommy Tiernan on Irish tv is also worth a look
@@Juggadoosh 100%
I wanted to mention narduar but you beat me to it. I love the reactions he gets from his interviews!
yeah he isnt trying to attack them he is celebrating a life of being in front of people and talking about good memories.
Such an underrated actor. And always happy when I see him appear in anything I watch
Can we appreciate Sean not talking about Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul and only talking about Bob's underrated works.
Well, there was one whole wing about the toughness of playing Jimmy/Saul, but I get your point.
He asks a question about Better Call Saul
Underrated and under appreciated for a reason. Thank God he didn't stay with Comedy lol
@@tdb4763 He’s good at comedy and Mr Show was really popular.
@@tdb4763 he’s a really good comedy writer. His dramatic acting is better though
I can listen to Odenkirk's voice forever. It is so soothing and familiar to me. I'm not a Fandom sort, but when it comes to Bob, I'm obsessed.

not sure id be comfortable after taking a bite of a wing with da bomb sauce, but in terms of interviewing hes great. yes

I love how every guest is surprised at their own good time brought on by this amazing and underrated host with the most unpredictable and surprising interviews.
My favorite thing I often hear them say is, "I'm surprised you know about that." lol Of course, it's always great when they admit that they were surprised at their own good time.
Another great episode. Thanks so much!
Also, shout out to the editors. You really know how to bring out the best in what this show has to offer.
Yeah I like how Sean goes out of his way to go from asking a couple fun questions mixed in with some harder hitting thought provoking questions that challenge their career experience and allow them to share their experience.
And usually always one question that digs deep into their personal history or such to surprise them
Who is underrating this host?
HOW DOES EACH EPISODE KEEP GETTING BETTER?? OH MY GOODNESS

Downvoted for all-caps.
to top this he needs to have Brendan Fraser on!
Bob is so contagiously likeable, like he's everybody's best friend. I've loved him in BB, BCS, and I know he'll be a smash in Lucky Hank. Only wishing the best for Bob.
He’s great in “Nobody” too if you haven’t seen that
It's incredible to see Bob talk. Decades of show biz wisdom seeps out of him. I don't care for childrens books but I will 100% pick that up just to support such an incredible journey with his kids.
What an interview! Top 10 ever, for me. Him saying that acting on stage at Second City with Chris Farley was the best time he ever had in showbiz brought tears to my eyes. Legends!
Sean is consistently one of the best interviewers. Wins over almost every guest with his earnest and well researched questions. Bob was sort of dismissive at the start, but guarantee this one of his most entertaining interviews. Love it Sean😉😀
uhhhh sean did a horrible job with the first part it was robotic and forced and didn't interact with bob when talking about how he was hooked.
@@zzzz-fk8ce😯
his team did research for him so it's subjective
@@zzzz-fk8ce I thought it was pretty clear that Bob was going into this thinking it was going to be a gimmicky, bog standard interview. He was a bit on the aggressive side at the beginning but chilled out by the first question. Not sure where you're interpreting such an apparently awful performance
Bob Odenkirk, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Dean Norris, Jonathan Banks, Giancarlo Esposito, Raymond Cruz, Michael Mando, Tony Dalton and Mark Margolis. Every character portrayed by these geniuses is perfect. 2 greatest shows of all time.
Don't forget about Rhea Seehorn, Jesse Plemons, and Michael McKean

Bob is so down to earth person, he keeps it real and doesnt hold back. What a personality :)
Oh man… I just realized that Robin Williams would’ve been an INCREDIBLE guest for this. Can you even imagine that? It’d be twice as long because they and the crew would be laughing too hard. And yet, Robin would still give great answers that would be as impressive.

Underrated scene is when Bob asks is they make people watch him eat all 12 wings and Sean says they're kind in the edit. Then the editor just leaves it on Bob going in on a flat lol. Small moments like that elevate this show against so many others.
So good when the editor flexes like that, lol

It's crazy how he seems so calm and collected comparing to his role in BB/BCS. Shows he's really a good actor.
I’d say boring and uninterested rather than calm and collected haha.
@@t3ripley722 ya those really dense answers to great questions really makes him sound uninterested….

15:49 I was not at all expecting Mr Bob Odenkirk to give me the exact advice I needed while I'm standing in the smoldering ruins of my life choices. This man is a gift to humanity and has given me hope for another day.
I don't know how to describe it better, but bob Odenkirk feels like an actor who's actually human
I get that
Bob is literally a national treasure. So eloquent, honest and funny. Talented as heck!
I'm so hyped for this one! Odenkirk is a legend! I'm scared for his heart but I know he's wise enough to take the proper precautions and not push himself too hard. What a talented, loveable man. Thank you, Bob for all the entertainment you've given us over the decades!
Legend!
We have Bob odenkirk to thank for a lot of comedy! It’s crazy how far he goes back on the improv scene too. I honestly think he’s underrated and far from the public eye when it comes to his writing talent. He’s really a genius and I’m glad he’s getting so so so much love.

Sean is always professional and tries to be a gracious host with pissy guests, but I feel he was a gleeful fan boy with Bob. Like he met his comedy hero. And I’m happy for him.
What I love about Sean is that when he has them wide open after thaBomb, he doesn’t ask carrier ending questions, instead he provides never before heard insights. Pure genius

Love that Bob is an icon now. He deserves all this success and more. I've had the good fortune of seeing him in small clubs testing material, just a special talent and human.

Bob's brain is lightyears ahead of us to the point where the spiciest wing can't stop him from being a comedic genius and just a genius in general.
I'm glad to see him still doing well since his heart attack. He's one of the great ones, and I hope he's with us for years to come. 😊
An amazing portrayal of how spicy the wings are. Through Bob's brilliant acting, we can fully sympathize with how much the wings were on the Scoville scale. Bravo Vince!

Everyone else: tries to withstand the heat to look tough by nibbling small bites of the wings and not drinking any water.
Bob Odenkirk: eats dinner.

1. Bobs intro and his confidence of not thinking this is as daunting as it has proven to be was gold.
2. The question Sean asked above about Chris Farley transported Bob back so much that Bob answered like he was talking to himself. I saw the genuine admiration and thoughtfulness Bob had in his response.

Every episode, I'm blown away with how good interviewer Sean is! Always well prepared, asking relevant and interesting questions that often take them off guard but never offend or shame them in any way. One of the best interviewers there is!
Bob retelling his baseball improv bit is one of the most Michael Scott things ever, I understand why Bob was seriously considered over Steve 😂

I'd love to hang out with Bob. He seems to have a healthy amount of cynicism and optimism which makes it a blast listening to him.
Good point. Important balance
I remember seeing the first episodes of Hot Ones and thought it was an interesting take on interviews, but I never thought that Sean would turn out to be such gifted interviewer. He seems to me that he is to interviewing what Anthony Bourdain was to storytelling. And that to me is the greatest compliment.

For all you Odenkirk fans that have children, he just published a book of children's poems that he wrote with his own kids called Zilot. My kids and I just finished it, great bedtime read, check it out.
