Thank you for writing that. I first thought it was "bayesiist" (from bayesian, as in "bayesian statistics").
Mind you, bayesian thinking is basically constantly updating with new data (when done properly), which would make a "bayesiist" akin to an empiricist, someone who mainly cares about the data. The only way that would be bad, is if the data is collected to uphold some bureaucracy. And in that case, they would also be "beigeist".
@@Krasbin people, especially college‘educated’ folk, tend to feel that Bayesian analysis yields truth. It does not guarantee that by any means. But it does help identify likely conditions for a relationship to be true. And I doubt we need that to tell Bill isn’t talking about that. ;-)

The difference here is that information is constantly updated and fed through social media apps where literally anyone who has an account and a device can post shit. You can be got to 24/7. When you really think about the time where the tipping point for all this madness started getting out of control, it'll coincide with the widespread release of the smartphone, and then Facebook and Twitter. If you have an account on there sharing your real name and occupation and other details, you really are asking for it.

Back in the 70’s I was a van driver delivering ladies sanitary products to supermarkets in north of Scotland . On my first day on the job at my first delivery at the store back door I was greeted by the manageress who shouted to her staff HERE’S THE LASSIE WI THE MANHOLE COVERS. Sanitary towels 🤦♀️ Billy is 100% correct here. Nowadays such an exclamation would be deemed outrageous among these offended woke creatures who will never enjoy their lives. I’m 74 now and like Billy, absolutely sick of of all this woke and “I’m offended shit” 🤨

I’m Mexican-American, a Latina but now the young millennials want us to say, Latinx. Most of my Mexican family over 30 years old laugh or just roll their eyes because to us it’s so ridiculous, it’s either Latino or Latina. When I had to check into the ER department when I was really sick, the guy behind the plexiglass with a dry attitude, named Polo, asked me for information and my husband was next to me, I’m in pain and the guy keeps asking questions then a question that was never asked of me, “Are you a male or a female”?…. Before he could ask if I considered myself anything, and I was in pain with a gallstone attack, I was losing my patients with Polo, “I’m a woman, do you want to see my… my husband stopped me before I got explicit, my husband said, she’s female, trust me! lol.. but Polo just gave me this dirty look. Lol. I know it’s his job to ask questions but I guess I just was never asked those kinds of questions before, this as just four years ago! I have a lot of young nieces and nephews, I really worry about their future, at least my siblings are raising them right and good.

It wasn't until recently that I heard that Billy didn't write jokes. No he wrote words on a piece of paper and left them on the stool on stage and developed stories as he went along, genius. Thank you Billy for taking us in your mind. I found Billy much to late in life to have enjoyed him live personally in concert. Thank God for sirius satellite radio and UA-cam.
