I just bought some high dollar headphones and ironically enough this was the first album I put through them. Excellent sound for sure. Nofx is going down in history as being the best band that's kept punk music alive👍
Thanks for doing this upload, the differences are great to hear and some songs sound improved here. fucking love their music, 25 years I have yet to find a band I like more
Six years" The vocals mix is louder, Melvin and the discussion between mike and the engineer is much clearer. Harmonies different? "Happy Fathers" the solo is added, vocals clearer "Sid and Nancy" Ok the vocal mix on Vinyl is just louder all together. "Cali Drought" Bass mix is much much lower.. mostly due to medium i suppose? CD's lower frequencies might come across deeper, might also be the attributing factor to the high K's where vocals are and get clarity. "Oxy moronic" the break down is different, also i have heard the outro where the engineer and mike discuss "you're mom's house is hydro..." line, and the advertisement mockery ending. not sure where that comes from other than the music video. "I don't like me anymore" the 2nd verse is bridged out... i like that actually since i have heard the CD version 1,000 times now. harmonies are different as well. "Transvest-Lite"...sigh ok, they are different takes. The harmonies are pretty much the same notation, but they are different. a few guitar riffs are different takes for sure. Mike's different as well on a few songs. Smelly has like, robotics at this point but i did think i heard a fill different on "Last Ditch" regardless... thank you for this.
D1v1n3x0n3 Ps4 yeah I don't want to sound like a vinyl hipster but this sounds way better than other uploads. obviously there are some differences in the songs themselves, and I'm not sure how different the mixing is, but I totally prefered this version of the album. :)
i stopped at Transvest-lite" because i had to go take care of my child. i ended up ordering the vinyl online the night i wrote this comment. Thank you tho, i ended up hearing that when it was shaking my house.
The CD upload is filled with ads and has terrible sound compression.. Even though this source is vinyl (a format with limited sound) it's somewhat true to the source it was ripped from and that just makes this version the best on the tubes so far.
RAAAAAAAD!!!! happy father's day, cool guitar solo in the intro i prefer the california drought cd version i do'nt like me anymore is way better in vinyl version
Which version is better is subjective. Some of the songs I prefer the CD/Digital and others I prefer this version. Honestly, I think both are rad! Its fucking NOFX!
awesome as always it never gets old for me just more classic or should I say crassic interesting that nofx was compared with b r they always sounded like rkl to me and made there own buitiful music peace and love lloydy
Listen to this on great headphones and it may just change your life 😬

D1v1n3x0n3 Ps4 ... Smellys plethora on California drought is different too. I think I like the cd-version better

It's like they make the best version the vinyl version. I think this sounds so much better than the digital/cd.
Agreed
Awesome as always sad to hear about the dude from nufan very sad evident in Mikes latest stuff hope he's ok peace and love lloydy
My favourite nofx record just got better 🤙 thanks for the upload

MY FOLLOW PUNK ROCKER!!!
Daaang. Thank you for this.
Better than the original album
First two tracks have differences so far. Every song, I'm guessing?
Every song.
Different from what? CD? I only have vinyl
Damn this sounds so different, fuck vinyl, I've listened to this album many times on CD already so I'll stick with that
"it ain't Lonely at the bottom" the pause between verse and chorus is a second longer!!!
Might just start being a transvest-lite too... lol
Ah wtf - Oxymoronic is so much better on this version.
It actually sounds punk during the bridge lol.
so good
It just sounds better.
"generation Z" the guitar solo is different!
Everything about this vinyl is better than the digital mix!
Why did they do this??
thx man
Melvin! ♥️👍
the mixes are better in the vinyl i.m.o.
music sounds fatter, but the thing is, yt always fuck up with the audio quality
Asiong aksaya
Only just realised they have different versions on each format. Are they re-recorded or are they just slightly different edits?
Mostly different takes or mixes
do the yell, from the gut!
California drought drum solo doesn't show nearly as much of Smelly's talent here as other versions do
wtf tripper... the vinyl solo is twice as hard to play
Just found out Smelly didn't play the part. Josh Freese did...
the CD version of "I don't like me anymore" is much better.
melchizedekful nope
I disagree, at least, this version sounds better in my car. They played it live in Birmingham too, song sounds great live
Cause nancy died first
lisa died and louise have cancer
