The only person I can think of who ever has a child making noise in the background that I play with has a baby who likes to sleep on him while he plays. Nothing wrong with that and it's actually sweet to hear him talk to/with/about his kids. Guess he's the exception rather than the rule, unfortunately.
kinda late but maybe his partner is taking care of the kid that day or at that moment, the crying seemed to stop every once in a while and the video was mostly just cutting the parts the kids were crying together what baffles me is that he doesnt mute at all, thats just rude and there is no possible excuse for that
i feel like i would let my team down alot but i would actually pick up my child and try to make it stop crying, like family comes first and idk why and how someone can just ignore their child for an entire raid and its not even a day 1 raid

Its always kinda surprised me how many people dont understand that raids are made to be done with a full fireteam, so they just end up low manning everything or trying to solo without ever really understanding that its meant to be done with 6 people and not solo or 2-3 people. My co-worker is one of those. Dude came into work one day not long after he started playing the game saying "I tried to solo vault of glass but I couldn't get past the opening."

I was doing a GM with a guy who had a crying baby in the background had been crying for literally 30 minutes into our GM i literally took us to orbit because we werent even at final boss and legit told him "Dude take care of your child if your being distracted your not focused im not focused and no body is focused were 30 min." And i kicked him from the fireteam. Id much rather have him dip the first min his kid starts crying than us being 30 min into a gm and me having to take us to orbit.
I think this perfectly showes that guaridan ranks really dont matter at all The guy with the guardian rank 9 didnt know how to do anything in the entire raid and even caused wipes. Even the guardian rank 5 guy did more than him and even tried to at least communicate with them (I guess this is the fireteam lead/lfg lead?)

This series proves why no one should tolerate dog shit play. It's one thing to be learning, and learning is fine. But it's another to just refuse to give yourself a chance wirh terrible set up

Console, specifically PS5, has a microphone built into the controller but it's complete dogwater so you can hear wayyyy too much
