Good evening everyone :) Thank you for joining me for today’s shopping un-bagging video…Aldi, Sainsbury’s Tesco, the pet shop and fish shop…oh my! :) I’ll join you down in the comments! 🤩
Good to see Jasper doing his main job of supervising the unpacking of shopping. It's in a cat's job description, I believe. And I love seeing what's available in your supermarkets, compared to mine in my part of Australia....maybe some folk would call it nosey, but I think it's interesting.
Such a fun time looking at groceries like yours around the world. I'm from the south in America. Have a wonderful weekend and happy father's day to Mr what's for tea ❤️💜
Thank you for sharing the video Cheryl, I've gotten into the habit of keeping my shopping app open and as I see what you've bought, it gives me ideas of what to buy myself lol. xx
fo you have an Iceland near you ? purely for convenience they have a small range of frozen pre cooked chicken in small slices cubes or skewers they can be heated from frozen or defrosted overnight then either eaten cold (tortilla wraps etc) or just warmed through with sauces etc
So wonderful how you relate your commentary to people liking your nails, and giving a tip to Mummy and Oscar B for her yoghurt quests 😀Your channel is just getting constantly better, and I had such a rubbish week I was glad I remembered this was on to cheer things back up!!
Hello lovely Cheryl! ... I spotted my Quiche Lorraine from Aldi (£1.99). I usually keep a couple in my freezer ... Although at Lancaster Aldi, white cabbage and eggs are in short supply!
Cheryl your grocery haul looks wonderful. So many great meals on your counter. Love the skirt. I am 5'2" so short. Would love to see more scenery in Scotland.
I don't think that was too bad a price for everything you got, what with the new skirt ( it's loveky looks nice & cool fir this weather) , jasper's things, fresh fish , all your groceries, I think you did quite well. Aah jasper is such a cutie love how he has a nosey around your shopping , & I love his new bow tie !! He will soon be the Star of whats for tea Cheryl!! 🐈😺😊
Hi Cheryl, great food shop. Love your nail polish , looks like 100s and 1000s cake sprinkles, lovely❤the skirt is beautiful especially paired with the denim jacket. Love Jasper's new bow. Ps nothing like, a gingerbread man with a cup of tea🙏gale x
That was a lot of food. Bow tie for Mr. Jasper 💝 I buy ice. I like crystal ice in my drinks and my freezer is always too full to get ice trays and storage bin in it.
The pickled beetroot is good on a chicken burger, with some tomato sauce and cheddar cheese. Or with chicken and garlic Kiev, with some tomato sauce and caramelized red onion chutney (with balsamic vinegar). Or with a cheese-&-onion quiche... :)
Tesco do ice cube bags to fill up with tap water for making icecubes near we're the foils cling films sandwich bags are really handy for making your own cubes
I use Dove white soap too! It helps so much when it's winter to keep my skin from getting too dry. I'm always getting eye goobs out of my kitties eyes, I should look into eye wipes. Right now I'm just using toilet paper, lol. I give them a treats afterwards for pestering them. Now they know what the tp means, treats!
A sign of how bad things are where I am. Friday afternoon Farmfoods sent out their email detailing some of their offers. One offer was 250g block of Coubtry Life butter for £1.25. By late Saturday afternoon there was not one block left on the shelf.
Hi Cheryl! Your nails always look beautiful. I love your skirt especially with denim jacket. We used to call them peasant skirts back in the day. I love the grocery selection you have in Scotland!
I still can’t get over how cheap food is over there Cheryl. You didn’t say anything about that ginger bread, it looked pretty tasty. 😊 also, it looks like your Aldi‘s has a lot better selection of products over there, maybe because you’re right there near Germany as compared to here in America ….cheers Brian
we ran so low on food I think I spent most of last week grocery shopping so I am over ii......But it's okay coz I don't have to worry about filling up the freezer for a while now.,
@What's For Tea? pray you never do. Cost my sister nearly 4 grand repairs to septic tank. Daughter on city sewer system got $3,000.00 bill from city for their claim her flushable wipes clogged their system.
Lookin' good there, Jasper! Cute skirt, Cheryl! Funny that you call it anglaise; we call it eyelet lace here. Wish we had more interesting WW meals here. Since their popularity has fallen somewhat in the last 10 yrs, stores only have 3 or 4 choices, mostly pasta. Calling dibs on a big plate of that carbonara before you even make it! 😅😋
Hi Cheryl, another mammoth shop this week! Everything looks delicious, I love those Tilda Micro rice packets they’re so handy, but becoming quite costly. I was in Aldi last week & picked up a few packets of their own brand micro rice, so far I’ve only tried the lime & coriander flavour, same weight & tasted exactly the same as Tilda & I think I paid either 65 or 69p so that’s a big saving! Love your new maxi skirt, but I’m what my mother used to call a ‘dirt magnet’, guaranteed within 10 minutes I’d have either brushed up against something, been used for seagull target practice, or sluttered something all over it! 😬😱😂🤣 Hope your continuing to survive the current Ayrshire heat wave, a bit too hot for cooking duties!🥵 Take care & have a great weekend xx 👩🏻🍳💕💞🩷
Oh It's been roasting hot here David! We're not used to this heat in Scotland 😂 I'll need to try the Aldi rice...I'll definitely pick it up next week. Thank you so much for watching! 🤩
@@WhatsForTea Oh I know Cheryl, fellow Ayrshire resident here. Don’t want to moan about it as it doesn’t last long … but we’re just not acclimatised to tropical heatwaves, well not without a lovely cooling pool or a refreshing tranquil azure sea in front of us & a lovely big iced exotic cocktail in hand!🏖️🌴🍹🧉😉😂🤣🤣
@@WhatsForTea You never know untill you've tried it, my friend :D It's vary tasty, just so you know.Haggis doesn't sound eatable when you read the ingredients, but it's soooooo tasty! Same with kalvsylta, great when the weather is too hot for us in the north. :-)

Oh goody! Was wondering what to watch on UA-cam, and you popped up. Have a great weekend, Cheryl, Mr. What's for Tea, and 😺 of course.

The skirt is lovely. Good deal.
That's a skirt straight out of the 1990s! I used to have one. Love it! So glad you are having such good weather. Enjoy it while it lasts!
Oh I know 😆 Just my style 😂 I was a teenager in the 90's 🙃💕
@@WhatsForTea Well, I have a few (!) years on you, but ya, great style from the '90s!
Hi Cheryl and Jasper! 💗 Looking forward to the meals you create from this shop. Thank you!
That skirt is really cute. I think we have been getting your wet Scottish weather here in Ohio, it has been cool and rainy here for the past week. lol

I like a well dressed Jasper! So handsome he is😻
Graham’s spread is excellent.
Agreed! Very good indeed 😋👍 Nice and salty...and creamy!

Hi, Cheryl, jasper is, one, lucky 🐈 😻, god bless
Cheryl, is Jersey milk better than the milk from the Orkney Islands? I loved the milk from Orkney when I visited.

I do the same thing with my pasta sauce.
Is there a difference in jacket potatoes and baked potatoes, or is it just the same thing going by another name?

Love how supermarkets fool everyone by putting ‘vine ripened’ on packets of tomatoes…… ALL TOMATOES are ripened on the vine!
Anyone with a freezer can make ice cubes.
I have an Irish Cat you have.
Ironically made two 23cm quiches last week, and they didn't look as good as either of yours. Tasty things though.
8:00 Love a good Tortilla simple recipe simple ingredients cooked by simple Spanish people (i did mean that in a friendly way!)
Agreed 🙂 I've spent a fair bit of time in Spain...we used to have a cafe bar there ☺
@@WhatsForTea Very good now that is very impressive Cheryl
A wee gingerbread man? Explain please ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Who had the gingerbread man 😂
Lovely to see Jasper 😻 his dickie bow is so cute 😁

Even though it's lovely I've found that nail polish that has sparkles, confetti etc is a massive pain in the rear to remove.
It takes quite a bit longer than normal polish 😄👍
