Looking good. Love those seats. I run a Pole Position in my E81 and I love it. I sit really low now, but it’s perfect for me and since I’m 1,85 m, the driving position is much better than stock. Getting out is a bit more challenging because of the pronounced shape of the PP but even at my age I manage just fine.
YES! These are also my dream seats but for a Hyundai… curious what made you pick the Sporster CS model over the Sportser GT which seems to be the more popular model between the 2. Nice video.
Loving the 135I content brother. These cars are still too "new" for me to call then future classics, but an argument could be made for them to be future classics. I'm toying with the idea of selling my 135i to fund big power mods for my F32 440I but man, that's a hard decision. The 135i has that classic small car feel and I'm not sure I'm ready to trade that for a 700+hp F32 that feels bigger and heavier. Keep up the great content. It's inspiring for E82 owners.
Looks really good, actually prefer the black over the red. I think the red door cards accents work well also. Personally only bit of red I think would look better black is the remaining rear seat trim/side bolsters, think those would look good black. As far as seats making a significant difference to the drive, feel, comfort, driving position for the vehicle, I could not agree more. When I ordered my car I absolutely had to go with the 18 way heated, cooled seat options, despite the outrageous price over the standard 4 way or optional 14 way. The 18 way heated, cooled seats were a must. Oh and I think red seatbelts would pop in your M1 clone if you keep some of the red interior. Nice work, that clone is looking better and better. Looking forward to seeing it all come together.
I would love to see you do some weight reduction on this whip. Carbon fibre doors, carbon roof, carbon trunk spoiler. This whip is so clean, love the seats.
I’m a little confused just looked in the parts section of the build looking to get some of these for my e46 m3 but a little confused on what all I need for the sliding brackets do I just need that stuff or the side mounts as well?
Being 6'2, have you sat in pole positions buddy? Theyre really not comfortable if youre over 5'10. Especially if you wanted to run harnesses at any point, the harness holes will be below your shoulders. I tried a bunch of seats out recently for mine, dead set on some pole positions, and even though theyre the nicest looking ( im 6'3 ) theyre just not as comfy as some other offerings. The SPG XL are much better for people of our size, But i ended up deciding i was going to go for Corbeau pro series XL or something similar as they were unreal comfy.
Very nice!! I’d say swap the back seat bolsters to black for the mean time until you can decide on what to do with the door panels. I think it’ll look more uniformed
I didn't see the video yet, but is it correct that seat heating isn't possible to work on these seats? That would be a pretty big disadvantage for me. Are there any good alternatives for the OEM (sport)seats were the seatheating would still be intact?
To be fair you should have weighed the difference with those mounting brackets in the base of the floor. Also, the old seats had all the airbag stuff. Great vid overall tho 🎉🎉

Colorado n5x has alcantara pillars also you could get dye from mashimarho or seat doctor if you ended up wanting to get rid of the red that is left.

Make sure to get the "ABE" version of the pole positions. Much friendlier to get in and get out and it has a wider base for more room and comfort.
