This tutorial is very helpful on the approach, the scale to achieve the details and the patience that is needed to take on a complete a large project. Amazing results
Man of my own heart! This is how I work…not the technique, but the whole grid idea…I know some people think it’s not actual drawing. The thing is, is the more adept for you to get to see the real world as it is which is… not actual edges or lines or anything but just the blurry fuzziness that is reality, the bigger you can make your grids and actually draw what you see. If you practice good enough and really get your eye to see what you want to put on paper you could split your grid up into four squares on a drawing! believe me, it’s true!
Glad to hear it! For only having 12 subscribers when I first posted this tutorial people seem to really be enjoying my stream of consciousness type of narration so I'll definitely be doing more of these in the future.
Thanks so much, it means a lot! Especially because this is my first attempt at a tutorial and I felt like I was repeating myself a lot, but I was just talking through my thought process. 😊
Thanks so much Gordon! I'm excited to post more of these tutorials to UA-cam. I thought people would be bored out of their minds listening to me but the response has been tremendous!
