I do a lot of driving for my job and I've driven both 2022 amd 2023 Corolla Hybrids and the '23 is noticably quicker. Also with the same amount of driving the miles on the meter was 2-4 mpg of a drop off rather than 6 that's claimed. The ride quality is just average but so are most all other subcompact sedans. Overall I like 2023 better because it gets up to 55mph faster.
Thanks for commenting on your experience on both! Do you mostly drive city or hwy?
Thanks for sharing the power difference. I was thinking in my head it should make a big difference considering how light and small the vehicle is. I plan on getting a wad model this weekend.😊
2022 Corolla LE Hybrid has alloy wheels, push button start, door sensors with smart key, upgraded driver's information display etc. 2023 Corolla LE Hybrid has none of those which is why it's cheaper. You didn't notice that because the 2023 Corolla you're driving has the convenience package.
This exactly.
I paid 1200 to get the package 😢
@@LuoshanjiBiaoge well worth the money in my books! Congrats 👏
@@LuoshanjiBiaoge Toyota charge $1340 for this package now
But you also get more safety features which work better, new infotainment system, new remote start, more power, AWD, 5th gen hybrid system, additional trims to the hybrid lineup..
Great video! useful information that other reviewer can't tell or even don't know
Thank you for watching!
Part of the reason why it gets worse gas mileage is because the 2020-2022 had 15" wheels. The 2023 has 16". Also the newer tires are a bit wider as well, which also reduces the mileage.
Thanks for the videos and coverage, as most videos are of the SE trim, and I've been looking at the LE specifically - and it has been harder to find info on it.
Thanks for the info and thank you for watching!
... i was hoping to get the SE Infrared... but it's $3k-$4k more than the LE.... and the wait time is indefinite.... so i said forget it. i'll probably work on paying this off in a year or two, modify it with rims and own it until it dies.
What mpg did you get on highway driving?

I was looking at getting a Prius before the new design came out. Hopefully they make a Corolla Hatchback Hybrid and call it the "Prius Eco".
There's a Corolla hatchback hybrid in Europe but not going to come over here. Here, we'll get the Corolla Cross Hybrid with 40 mpg.
Thanks for being honest and not pretending like any dishonest owner 😅
Thank you for watching!
Gday How is that hybrid keeping fuel on Full????
Well I didn’t go to far on this drive, but I did get 52 MPG on the highway out of this car when I tested it
@@CarDietrichfair enough
The car seems noisy inside. You can hear the road noise.
I own one and yes its super fucking loud inside
Why can't you hold the steering wheel without shaking it every second?
Genetic issue
LE, comes with blind spot sensor? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
With Convenience Package or Premium Package

I would prefer a bland car like this as my commuter. I have been daily driving my 17 Subaru STI in SoCal and that car is killing me and my pocket. I love it, it's a fun and badass car but not for daily, that's why I recently ordered a Corolla Hybrid SE, that'll save me a chunk of $.
I own a 2023 Corolla SE Hybrid. I simply love the way it drives. I listened to your criticism, and I recommend to the viewers to dismiss it completely.
Have you driven an LE? If so, how does it feel compared to SE?
@@sixpooltube . Sorry, but I have never been in an LE.
@@sixpooltube . The LE and SE have the same engine, transmission and suspension. The difference in the cars is minor bells and whistles. I don't understand why you think the two cars might drive differently?
@@packerbacker69 I've heard the 18" wheels of the SE makes the ride more bumpy. Was wondering if there are other differences.
@@sixpooltube. After putting 1800 miles on my SE, thinking that the ride was bumpy never entered my mind. I also own a 2021 Camry LE AWD. I enjoy driving my Corolla Hybrid as much as I enjoy driving my Camry. I will say there is noticeably less elbow room in the Corolla when compared to my Camry.
