- Shoutout to channel members Jim and Sandeep, both of whom were working on the elements in today's drum fill!
This a lovely fill idea where we use the Four Stroke Ruff (lrlR or rlrL) to smoothly transition from the 16th note groove into the fill, which begins on beat 3. The first three strokes of the ruff (the grace notes), take place during the "a" of beat 2, and the fourth stroke of the ruff (the main note) is beat 3 - the first note proper of the fill.
