I love Japanese ENKA, first discovered it through Mori Masako about 10 years ago. There are many famous Japanese ENKA singers including Hibari’ Misora. Hibari is a legend in Japan.
Enka can be summarizd as a genre of song firmly rooted in the landscape of Japan and the emotions of japanese people. Her facial expression is the embodiment of a wowan who loves someone deeply to the extent that she wants to kill him If she loses him. It's so scary, but at the same time, l'm envious of the man she loves. If you fall in love with someone, his or her existence will become irreplaceable for you!❤
Amazed your listening to enka. It is so not so much as a sad song as about love betrayed. Enga tends to be very passionate story lines bit like opera, love, betrayal, revenge. My own favourite is Fuji Ayako, she is famous for her beauty. Her best hit is Yuki ga Shin shin.
