Watch the series Ash vs Evil Dead. Sam Raimi also made a movie called Darkman starring Liam Neeson. I would also like to see your reaction to the Scream movies.
And this is where Ash Williams went from a great protagonist, to an amazing one. Bruce Campbell nails the performance. I love how insane this movie gets.
I know Roxy and Tara made a joke about it when they watched the first movie, but I would genuinely love for them to watch Ash vs Evil Dead. Even if it’s just the first episode of the show, just so they get a feel for what it’s like, and to know where Ash ends up.
Bruce is my favorite actor. Met him 18 years ago on the day I was released from the hospital after a week. He was super awesome to my daughter, held up the line to talk to her. He’s a great person IRL.
I like the first 2 but Army Of Darkness is what truly made me a fan of this franchise, and solidified Bruce Campbell’s legend as the king of horror comedies. I still shout THIS IS MY BOOMSTICK whenever I use a massive shotgun in online video games.
This single movie started something that changed not only the film industry but the video game industry carrying on to pop culture and meme culture in general. Especially that damn poster for this movie...when you see it you know just how iconic it is.
"Well, Hello mister Fancypants! I've got news for you pal, You ain't leading nothing but two things right now. Jack and Shit. And Jack left town." - One of the best movie quotes of all time
OK, inside joke. The "words" originally came from the classic Sci Fi movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still". They were words given to a character that were supposed to be a message to an alien robot "gort". And of course, in this movie, Bruce Campbell forgets one of them.
The other Raimi brother -- Ted -- is at the end, asking Ash if he said the words right. Sam frequently has a role for both Bruce and Ted. Bruce, Ted Raimi, and Robert Tappert are all in "Xena: Warrior Princess " as recurring characters.
Still another Raimi brother, Ted, is often acting in these collaborations. He was the guy at S-Mart at the end asking Ash if he spoke the words correctly. They're also both in Xena - Bruce Campbell as Autolycus and Ted Raimi as Joxer (the Mighty).
My buddy is directing Evil Dead the musical and I got to paint some backdrops for it. Was thinking about y'all! Thank you for traumatizing yourselves for our entertainment, ladies!
The behind the back shot followed by the shivers was probably an homage to Bruce Lee? Not super often, but he would have scenes where he'd finish off a guy and the downed fighter would be off camera and he'd get a close up and he'd do that shiver.
You guys have finally reached my fav film in the franchise and one of my all time favorites. This movie will never not be quotable to me! Even thought it’s more on the comedy side with a mix of action and fantasy, I still consider it horror as well. I did dress up as ash for Halloween a few years ago in his medieval outfit which is not common but I loved it! Ash will always one of my fav characters in all of fictional media!!! Bruce Campbell is the GOAT!!!
Another Groovy react from the She-jects! "Give me some sugar, baby." "Good, Bad, I'm the guy with the gun!" "Hail to the king, baby" There are so many great quotes in this movie! Bruce Campbell worked so much, as both as Ash and Evil Ash.
Army of Darkness or "The Mid-Evil Dead" from the original working title is a 1992 American dark fantasy horror comedy film directed, co-written, and co-edited by Sam Raimi. The film is the third installment in the Evil Dead film series and the sequel to Evil Dead II (1987). Starring Bruce Campbell and Embeth Davidtz, it follows Ash Williams (Campbell) as he is trapped in the Middle Ages and battles the undead in his quest to return to the present.
The setting of this movie reminds me of the joke from Austin Powers: The Spy who Shagged me when he says "Isn't is amazing how the English countryside looks in no way like Southern California"
This was the first Evil Dead movie I watched, so I was shocked by how more serious the first two were. Speaking of which, the next two (which Bruce Campbell was not in) are much scarier, so there'll be plenty of opportunities to "purge!" there for you.
I wish I knew what it was like to get nauseous so easily. I've been on a boat in a storm and didn't even get sick then. 🤣 This movie ain't shit for me, although I played a bunch of hectic games growing up when I wasn't doing crazy stuff outside so maybe that helped
Same. I read books laying down in the backseat for cross-country trips as a kid. I've never had an issue. As an adult, I can play VR games for hours with no issues. My wife can only play for a few minutes, and my friends not much longer than that. I'm really glad I don't get motion sickness, though 😂
I haven’t watched it yet, but can’t wait to love you girls, it’s such a joy to watch your reactions. and sidenote I highly recommend. A movie from 2022 Fresh it is a really fun watch
You need to watch the indy Horror comedy film starring Bruce Campbell called Bubba Hotep...and Bruce starred in a tv series called Adventures of Brisco County Jr...all these were after AOD.
Girls, seriously. I use that Paul Rudd line constantly. Now I kind of want to use it to your accents. BTW, at 8:17 I thought Roxy was going to high kick Tara in the face. 🤣
This is my favorite one personally, I saw the series in reverse order accidentally and was baffled by Evil Dead 1 and 2 because they were so different 😅
I grew up a couple blocks away from Stonestown Mall in San Francisco, And there used to be this big TowerRecords near the mall. Tower Records had a movie rental section, and before Blockbuster that was THE place to rent movies.. That’s where I first rented Army of Darkness, and the posters for Army and EvilDead 2, the poster of a skull with eyes looking into the camera, became ingrained into my soul! I even currently have the EvilDead2 skull poster as a Tshirt I wear all the time. EvilDead 2 is definitely my favorite, but army comes in second, followed by EvilDead1.. EvilDead 2013, EvilDead Rise, and Ash vs EvilDead, are all in a separate category for me, and that’s the post Brisco County Jr. Era...
"Klaatu Barada Nikto" (not Niktu) is the command given by the alien commander (Michael Rennie) to the humans to deactivate his robot's "destroy them all" command at the end of "The Day the Earth Stood Still"
There are two movies I would love for you guys to watch: - RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD - BEHIND THE MASK: THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON The first is one of the best and most fun zombie movies ever made, put to old 80s punk music! And the second movie is absolutely perfect as this meta look at slasher horror movies where a documentary crew follows around this very personable guy, Leslie Vernon, who is prepping to be a slasher stalker killer. Lol The whole movie takes place in the same universe where characters like Jason, Freddy and Chucky exist and are referenced! It's such a blast of a movie and you would love it wedged in between all of these horror movies!
I literally found about Army of Darkness from reading Wizard magazine and something about a man with a chainsaw hand and shotgun killing zombies called out to me.
You two should watch “DarkMan” as a one-off after you finish with the EvilDead franchise, but before your next franchise.. You should fully do Halloween, I’m sure there’s a few you haven’t seen out of 13 movies..
This is where Ash became Ash and it's such a great fun film. I've never heard of anyone feeling sick or disoriented from these films so that's interesting. I highly recommend watching all Ash VS Evil Dead as it's the best product out of the franchise I believe and one of the best shows I've ever seen. I also highly recommend watching the Evil Dead remake and Evil Dead Rise too
This movie is so fun, a great comedy-horror. Roxy is right, it’s not the same actress playing Linda, it’s Bridget Fonda, granddaughter of Henry Fonda and niece of Jane. If you haven’t seen them, I recommend The Assassin (I think it had another title in the USA) and Lake Placid. She’s great in both. Embeth Davidtz was in Matilda and Schindler’s List, she’s fantastic.
Bruce chews the scenery in this movie so bad and it is so awesome to watch. I'm just curious as to which version they fixed because one ending I really like one ending I thought it was a little weak
Army of darkness is one of the best Horror comedies i grew up with. Sam raimi was a fan of the three studges. You can see alittle bit of it in evil dead 2 and its even more in army of darkness. Its the evil from the necronominon coming after Ash and tormenting him. Its bits of exorcist, mixed with cabin in the woods slasher.
There were actually three different endings that were released. One with Ash returning and everything was ok. Another where Ash drank too much of the potion and ended up in an apocalyptic future and this one.

Not your best one guys 😭
@hkaayaakuu Good? Bad? They're the ones with the pun.
Bro you were just at *Sorta Stupid*😅
Fancy seeing you here 😎
I saw this movie way back as a kid and its been one of my most quoted movies of all time.
This movie has some of the all-time best one-liners in cinema history.
I know Roxy and Tara made a joke about it when they watched the first movie, but I would genuinely love for them to watch Ash vs Evil Dead. Even if it’s just the first episode of the show, just so they get a feel for what it’s like, and to know where Ash ends up.
But they might end up wanting to go to Jacksonville
Along with Roxy's jack & sh!t reaction, Tara's snort at the "Gimme some sugar, baby!" line was the best 😂❤
Bruce Campbell is one of the most handsome studs that has ever lived. That chin is strong enough to destroy the One Ring.
This single movie started something that changed not only the film industry but the video game industry carrying on to pop culture and meme culture in general. Especially that damn poster for this movie...when you see it you know just how iconic it is.
"Well, Hello mister Fancypants!
I've got news for you pal,
You ain't leading nothing
but two things right now.
Jack and Shit. And Jack left town."
- One of the best movie quotes of all time
OK, inside joke. The "words" originally came from the classic Sci Fi movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still". They were words given to a character that were supposed to be a message to an alien robot "gort". And of course, in this movie, Bruce Campbell forgets one of them.
The message was to stop Gort from destroying the world.
Can't wait for Evil Dead (2013) and Evil Dead Rise!
Sheila is Helen Hirsch in Schindler's List. She did Schindler's List immediately after doing Army of Darkness.
Damn that's sick.
😮
Holy crap, after 30 years, it's sparked my recognition. Thanks, stranger.
Also in "13 Ghosts", which would be a fun reaction.
The other Raimi brother -- Ted -- is at the end, asking Ash if he said the words right. Sam frequently has a role for both Bruce and Ted.
Bruce, Ted Raimi, and Robert Tappert are all in "Xena: Warrior Princess " as recurring characters.
The shivers were adrenaline ladies... From fighting something scary. It's a natural occurance.
"good. bad. I'm the guy with the gun". Is one of the most famous quotes from this flick. Along with "shop smart, shop s-mart."
Still another Raimi brother, Ted, is often acting in these collaborations. He was the guy at S-Mart at the end asking Ash if he spoke the words correctly. They're also both in Xena - Bruce Campbell as Autolycus and Ted Raimi as Joxer (the Mighty).
My introduction to Evil Dead
Yup, dad put it on for my friends and I at 14 years old.
They all ran out while I was dying of laughter, best movie ever
So many great one liners in this.
So many
Not just my favourite Duo on this channel but Fav on UA-cam now🐐🐐🍿SHEJECTS
My buddy is directing Evil Dead the musical and I got to paint some backdrops for it. Was thinking about y'all! Thank you for traumatizing yourselves for our entertainment, ladies!
The behind the back shot followed by the shivers was probably an homage to Bruce Lee? Not super often, but he would have scenes where he'd finish off a guy and the downed fighter would be off camera and he'd get a close up and he'd do that shiver.
As a kid i knew Bruce Campbell from Spiderman Cameos and Sky High
Next is the reboot. And then later is the TV show, Ash vs evil dead.
YES!!!!! BOOMSTICK TIME!!
Groovy!
You guys have finally reached my fav film in the franchise and one of my all time favorites. This movie will never not be quotable to me!

Ash will always one of my fav characters in all of fictional media!!! Bruce Campbell is the GOAT!!!
as a kid, i thought this was a stand alone film. had know idea i was part of a franchise until much later. brilliant film
Roxy's pure joy and delight at hearing the jack and sh!t quote was amazing 😄❤
Another Groovy react from the She-jects! "Give me some sugar, baby." "Good, Bad, I'm the guy with the gun!" "Hail to the king, baby" There are so many great quotes in this movie! Bruce Campbell worked so much, as both as Ash and Evil Ash.

"Edgar Wright Cuts". 😖😑 oh im so sorry maam, those were ALWAYS Raimi cuts. 😂 Edgar would even tell you that.
Please watch the tv show guys its sooo under appreciated and its actually good!!!!
The setting of this movie reminds me of the joke from Austin Powers: The Spy who Shagged me when he says "Isn't is amazing how the English countryside looks in no way like Southern California"
I CANT WAIT… for the reactions to the reboot and sequel next! Them are the BEST.
Army Of Darkness Is A Sam Raimi Masterpiece. There are so many majestical elements about this film
9:21 “Jack and shit and Jack left town” is one of my favorite lines
This was the first Evil Dead movie I watched, so I was shocked by how more serious the first two were. Speaking of which, the next two (which Bruce Campbell was not in) are much scarier, so there'll be plenty of opportunities to "purge!" there for you.
I wish I knew what it was like to get nauseous so easily. I've been on a boat in a storm and didn't even get sick then. 🤣 This movie ain't shit for me, although I played a bunch of hectic games growing up when I wasn't doing crazy stuff outside so maybe that helped

No, you don't. It's miserable. You feel so sick all you want to do is sleep it off.
there is an alternate ending when he takes too much of potion. and ends up in a post apocalyptic future
I watch this movie so many times as a kid and never saw the first 2l😂😂 till 10 years ago
In medieval times, I'm thinking that a large castle is the center of town. And everything else is the middle of nowhere 😄
It was originally going to be called MediEvil Dead. A title that might be too clever for it's own good.
One of my favorite childhood movies with my favorite actor. I even have a huge army of darkness tattoo across my back
We need a "Give me some Shejects baby" tee shirt.
Pitch your Ash Vs. Movie!!!
Ash vs Art
We will be there regardless🍿🤝
Ash v Freddy v Jason v Michael Myers. Why the hell not?
Ash vs IT
Ash vs The GOP (The Ultimate Evil)
I’ve never understood the whole “get dizzy while watching a movie sitting down” thing. 🤷🏻♂️
Chicks. They complain about everything.

I wait all week for u 2 Much Love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have seen this movie (no exaggeration) over 50 times. We used to have AOD parties calling out the lines like Rocky Horror.
Tara’s knees lol bad girl
Army of Darkness with my introduction to the Evil Dead series. Just to give some context I saw it 4 times over 2 weekends in the theater 😁
This is my favorite one personally, I saw the series in reverse order accidentally and was baffled by Evil Dead 1 and 2 because they were so different 😅
God your British accents are killing me. 😂😂😂
Each movie has a remake of the previous movie as the opening.
So they change Linda.
RIP OG Linda
One of my favorite moments in the movie is when, while in the pit, Ash fires a double barreled shotgun... three times 🤣
He's fast with the reloads
Awesome Movie and Work Ladies❤❤❤Greetings from Helsinki, Finland🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸
Hail to the King Baby
This is my... BOOMSTICK!😂
I love this movie and the TV series, Ash Vs Evil Dead from 2015-2018.
Grew up loving this film 🎥 can't even remember how old.. but YOUNG lol
I grew up a couple blocks away from Stonestown Mall in San Francisco,

Thanks for doing my favourite movie of all time!
Let's go Shejects!
This is gonna be a fun one to watch 😎
There are two movies I would love for you guys to watch:
- RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD
- BEHIND THE MASK: THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON
The first is one of the best and most fun zombie movies ever made, put to old 80s punk music!
Booms stick ❤groovy...love from 🇳🇵
You misunderstood the trivia. Not his last studio film, but his last in the lead role.
Its been announced there are 2 Evil Dead movies & animated series in the works
I literally found about Army of Darkness from reading Wizard magazine and something about a man with a chainsaw hand and shotgun killing zombies called out to me.
I showed this to my kids last night, still as funny as when I saw it in theatres.
You two should watch “DarkMan” as a one-off after you finish with the EvilDead franchise, but before your next franchise..
You should fully do Halloween, I’m sure there’s a few you haven’t seen out of 13 movies..
I believe that is Ms Honey from Matilda and Roxy would also know her as one of Derek and Amelia’s sisters from Grey’s Anatomy.
SO glad we brought back "PAUL?". Whoever was annoyed by that can suck it. Lol
This is where Ash became Ash and it's such a great fun film. I've never heard of anyone feeling sick or disoriented from these films so that's interesting. I highly recommend watching all Ash VS Evil Dead as it's the best product out of the franchise I believe and one of the best shows I've ever seen. I also highly recommend watching the Evil Dead remake and Evil Dead Rise too
This movie came out at a perfect time for me. All the lines, all the time, all day at school
There was an extended scene of the Mini Ashs scene in case you wonder how his face’s covered in soot.
Great reaction .... I hope we get to see yall react to ash vs evil dead
Bruce chews the scenery in this movie so bad and it is so awesome to watch. I'm just curious as to which version they fixed because one ending I really like one ending I thought it was a little weak
I'm so excited we're here!
I went to high school with one of the sword trainers for this, she also got to be one of the deadite captains, IIRC.
Seeing Roxy reaction to all the quotable lines, I loved in this movie is great!
Army of Darkness is the first Evil Dead movie I saw on TV when I was kid. Fun movie!!! Love Shejects!!!
I have been waiting for Army of Darkness ❤❤❤love it ❤❤❤
I hope you can atleast watch the first season of Ash vs Evil Dead cause all 3 seasons are so much fun and pure Ash Williams Evil Dead.
I do applaud Roxy’s “Buttfor” attempt but right over Tara’s head
Took me a while, but you made me recognize sheila actress from matilda, Fallen, and 13 ghosts
We need some type of shirt that honors the word Juice lol.
Tara has made it universal for meanings and I'm here for it! Give me the Juice
Super curious to see how they react to the tone of this one.
There were actually three different endings that were released. One with Ash returning and everything was ok. Another where Ash drank too much of the potion and ended up in an apocalyptic future and this one.
You guys really ought to check out My Name is Bruce, Bruce Campbell playing a characterized version of himself it is Fantastic.
So this was actually my first film in the series and still my favorite Ash just has so many great one liners
fun fact: the yellow car is directors sam raimi's car. it also appears in sam rami's Spiderman movies. it dosent work any more according to him.
The Director's Cut and International Cut have more scenes that explain the inconsistencies you see in the Ash vs tiny Ashes scene.
The eye on the sholder is more epic than The eye on the forehead in DS2
